Chapter 42: First Date

*(Y/N) POV*

Winter break was coming to an end, just as fast as it had come. It was still chilly outside, as it was January and still winter. I had taken my fathers advice and had limited my meet ups with Ein. We still called just as much, thankfully my powers couldn't extend through the electronics. School was going to start in a few days, and we had only seen each other three times during the break, and they were never lasted longer then 2 hours. I could definitely feel the difference of what I was becoming being around Ein and who I am, but that doesn't scare me. I still care for him, more then I've cared about anyone.

"I'm not going to lose him."

I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror. My (H/L) (H/C) hair was combed neatly, and pulled back. My (H/C) locks still had some streaks of royal blue mixed in with them. My bright (E/C) eyes popped out a little thanks to the black eyeliner I had painted into my corners of my eyes moments ago. I'm waiting for the eye liquid to dry completely before I do anything else. The eyeshadow that I had brushed onto my eyelids was a few shades darker then my natural tone, I was going for a more natural look, not too heavy, not too light. I had put a lightly tinted moisturizing cream on my skin, I didn't want to use foundation because that seems a little too much. My (S/T) lips were glossy, with the help with a clear, slightly sparked, lip gloss.

I turned my head to look at the sapphire gemstone that hung off silver hooks dangling from my ear. Ein had bought them, along with a matching necklace, and had given them to me for Christmas. I wore the necklace now, it was a small silver heart with a brilliant sapphire encrusted in the middle. The gem twinkled as it caught the light emitting from the bulb in the bathroom. As my (E/C) orbs gazed at the stone what was swaying from my earlobe, my lips unconsciously formed a soft smile. The blue gem reminded me of my royal blue furred wolf boy, as did the metal that sparkled just like his pools of soft silver. An airy sigh fled from my lips as my mind wandered to the silver eyed werewolf, he was just perfect.

My eyes closed as I felt that familiar feeling of joy blossom in my chest as an image of my boyfriend formed in my imagination. The way the sun makes his ivory skin so warm and bright, the smooth rhythm his tail follows as it sways side to side subconsciously, how his black hair refracts the light in just the right way, how his royal blue bangs help cover part of his left eye, the sheen to his beautiful blue fur that makes it look so smooth and glossy, the way the scar tissue on his cheek stretches ever so slightly when he grins, to the way his dazzling silvery orbs light up whenever he gets excited. All of those things make Ein perfect.

Another sigh escaped my mouth as the image faded as I slowly opened my eyes. I was once again examining myself in the mirror. The eyeliner has completely dried on my skin, making it impossible to rub off. My eyes made their way up to the top of my head, were the (H/C) and blue strands were forced back. I gently ran my hands over the top of my head, where my ear should be. I felt my lips etch into a frown as my hands slide down the side of my skull to where my human ears were.

'Why did fate have to be so cruel?'

My eyes narrowed as I stepped back to get a better look of myself. I was wearing a royal blue speckled hoodie which faded to a light blue near tye bottem. The hoodie said 'Buff' on the front. I had gotten Ein and I complementing hoodies, but not the typical boyfriend girlfriend type. His was the reverse of mine and had 'Boi' on it. So when we stood side by side our hoodies said 'Buff Boi'.

(((Mhmm, ya know it!!! Already bought mine and now, I HAVE IT!!)))

Along with my hoodie, I was wearing long denim pants with navy blue sneakers covering my feet. I turned my back to the mirror while looking over my shoulder.

"Tch," My glossy lips pulled back to expose my pearly white teeth as my mouth formed the sound.

I glared at the spot where my tail should be sticking out from. A groan tried to form in my throat as my body turned back around as I slammed my hands onto the cool stone of the counter. My (E/C) orbs glaring back at myself.

"Why in Irene's name did this have to happen to me?" I asked myself, "If only there was a way go reverse this!"

Ein didn't care for me the way I care for him, because I'm a filthy human. He can't love a human and he shouldn't, it's a disgusting race that force werewolves to hold back their true strengths all because they are weak and scared of what werewolves could do.

'If it weren't for humans, this wouldn't have ever happened to me.' I snarled at my reflection, 'If only humans weren't so pathetic, Aaron and his family wouldn't have to hide!'

I would have asked Aaron by now to turn me back into a werewolf, but I knew it would bring more danger then I'm already in. I violently shoved myself off the counter and swung the bathroom door wide open.

'If it was that simple, I really wouldn't be in any of this mess.'

Shaking all the thoughts of being a werewolf out of my head as I entered my (F/C) bedroom, I made myself think about the date I was about to have with Ein. My heart immediately responded by fluttering in excitement while my mind went back to when Ein and I discussed our plans.

"What day?" I asked with a stupid grin plastered to my face.

"Saturday, at the ice skating rink. A neighbor of mine said that it's a great place, though she thinks anyplace is great." Ein mumbled the last part.

"I've heard about it! Yeah, it sounds great darling! What time will you pick me up?"

"How about we make it a late night thing? How about 8?"

"Hehe, sounds perfect! Wear your sweater!!"

"Heh, what else was I going to wear? I could never ignore a gift from my sweet pet." Ein cooed into his phone.

Sequels of embarrassing joy filled my room as I felt heat rise to my cheeks. Something about Ein calling me his 'pet' made something inside of me overflow with a squirmish feeling. Once I had myself back under control I replied.

"Alright! Sounds good to me! It's a date then."

I giggled softly as I danced around my room. Remembering the softness in his smooth voice, and the tone when he says 'pet'. My heart leaped, sending a blissful feeling through my entire body. I giggled while I grabbed my phone, shoved into my pocket then happily glided down the stairs.

"Tonight is going to be the best night ever!" I squealed as my navy sneakers thumped on the hardwood floor at the bottom of the stairs.

"Home no later then 11!" My father yelled from the living room.

The sounds of his favorite cop show came from the same direction as his voice. Huffing, I rolled my eyes with my hands on my hips.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. See ya later pops."

I waved my hand into the living room before I walked to the front door. I pulled out my phone to glance at the time.

7:59 P.M.

A smile tugged at my mouth, Ein always arrived on time which meant...

I happily opened the door to find the tall, dark haired, blue fur and banged werewolf with spectacle silver orbs leaning against a fancy black cadillac escalade.

(((Hey hey hey... I'm not good with cars. I just looked up black suv and found a cadillac escalade. And I thought escalade was similar to Escalante so I felt like I had to use it)))

A content smirk formed across his lips as silver his eyes trailed down to my own. My heart fluttered, sending blood straight to my cheeks. A smile crept onto my face as I approached him. Ein was wearing his 'Boi' hoodie with his usual navy blue pants and sneakers. He pushed himself off the car and stepped to the side while opening the door. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek before I hopped in the luxurious car. As usual, Ein didn't want to be the last one kissed and planted a sloppy, wet lick on my left cheek. His rough tongue against my skin sent shivers, and a warm feeling through my body. I giggled softly as Ein closed the door and made his way around to the drivers side.

--Time Skip--

Ein grabbed my hand as we approached the ice skating rink. He had already bought the tickets online so all we had to do was walk up to the counter and show the employee his phone.

*Fleur's POV*

The slight breeze blew against my exposed stomach, sending a chill down my spine and tail. I pulled my long coat closer around me, covering up my revealing clothes. I ignored the disapproving looks from random people passing by, and I ignored their comments. They never change no matter where I am.

Do you see that werewolf? She looks like a hooker.

Geez, why can't sluts at least TRY to cover up?

I wonder if her parents know how she's dressing.

'I wish I didn't have to dress like this.'

A sigh escaped from lips as I kept walking, the sound of my red heels clicking against the cold pavement was the only sound I was listening to now.

'Soon... I won't have too.'

I glanced up at the ice skating rink before me, the 'perfect place for a date'. Relief and fear mixed inside of my heart, causing my limbs to shake slightly. Holding my right hand out in front of me, I forced myself to stop shaking.

'I can do this. I have to do this... What other choice do I have?'

I shook my head slightly before I took a deep breath, "It's now, or never."

I said as I approached the tall, brightly light building.
