*(Y/N) POV*

I waved as Aaron drove away. I took a deep breath before spinning around while looking at the sky.

"Aaron, you're the best!" I giggled as I thought about the day I just spent with my cousin.

First, he took me somewhere fancy to eat, then we went to the arcade, then we went bowling where we tied, then he took me out to get ice cream, and finally, he bought me a promise ring. It was similar to the necklace and earrings he had gotten for me before; it was gold with a small ruby set in the middle with smaller diamonds on each side.

"Whoever's Aaron's future wife is, I'm jealous," I said as I held my hand up and admired my ring that was on my right index finger.

I turned and started skipping inside while humming a happy tune. Today was one of the best days ever!

I stopped skipping and pulled out my phone. I raised an eyebrow when I saw it was Ein. I swiped the green circle and held the phone up to my ear.

"Hello-"

"Where are you?"

"I was just dropped off at my house wh-?" I stopped when I heard the sound of wheels screeching that was followed by a car zooming off.

"Ein?! Are you driving? I didn't know you could drive-"

"I'll be there in a minute."

"Wait. What? No, it's fine, you don't need to-"

Beep

My jaw dropped as I pulled my phone away from my face and looked at the screen. The end call screen was there before switching back to my lock screen. I felt heat rise in my face as I scowled at my electronic device.

'He hung up on me!' I thought angrily.

I crossed my arms as I turned towards the road and tapped my foot impatiently.

'Whatever he wants, it better be important.'

A minute or so later, a black car came flying up the road, making me jump in surprise. The wheel skidding at how fast the breaks were hit, my heart was racing at how scary this moment was, it looked like the car was going to flip. In the blink of an eye, a dark-haired, blue-furred blur sprung from the black vehicle and flew towards me. I coughed as the blur tackled me, knocking me to the ground.

A pair of arms clung around me, pulling me close to the werewolf hugging me. His right hand on the back of my head, tangled in my hair, so it didn't hit the ground, the other around my back. I blinked a few times before I finally processed who this was.

"Ein? What's wro-"

"Why (Y/N)?!" Ein yelled, his face buried into the right side of my neck, "I've been looking for you all day! You weren't answering my texts or calls or anything! Do you know how worried I was?!"

I was taken aback by his words; I was even more shocked when a light sob came from the werewolf boy. His arms clung to me even tighter than before as he sobbed lightly. I just laid there, my eyes wide in shock as he spoke.

"Do you know how much it hurt knowing you were with someone else?! You're my girlfriend! No one else can have you!"

My heart flutter in its cage as my cheeks flushed, I giggled softly as I stroked his blue-furred ears.

'I didn't realize he cared this much...'

"Oh, Ein, you really have nothing to cry about. Aaron is like a brother to me, and besides," I nuzzled his ear, "I like you and only you, so you don't have to worry about me running off."

"...good," Ein muttered, nuzzling my neck.

My heart fluttered again as I closed my eyes; I didn't mind if Ein was slightly crushing me. I felt terrible for worrying him, and making him cry, and besides. It's not every day he shows how much he really cares about me.

I wrapped my arms around Ein's back and head, my right hand gently petting his soft ears while my left was on the small of his back. I felt Ein's body relax as we held each other; I smiled, knowing he felt safe in my arms.

"Ein, you can get off me now." I smiled awkwardly.

"..." Ein didn't move. He just held me tighter.

I sighed before burying my face in his neck. Ein's hair was so soft to the touch, but not as soft as his ears. I closed my eyes as I absorbed the moment.

The way Ein's arms held me so close to his body, I could almost feel his heartbeat. The way he held my head in his hands was so gentle, I felt his fingertips playing my hair. I opened my eyes slightly to watch his tail swag side to side. My hand was still on Ein's head, running over his hair and ears. My fingers found the cool metal in his left hear, one hoop, and a stud. I carefully played with his piercing as he laid on top of me.

"Promise me something (Y/N)," Ein finally said, lifting his head and looked into my eyes with his silver orbs.

I inhaled sharply as our eyes locked, he wasn't just worried. He was livid. I knew Ein had some problems, but I never thought he would be so protective to the point where he'd...want to hurt people. My heartbeat was starting to pick up in speed as I gazed into his dark, hostile silver eyes.

"Wh-What is it?" I asked, trying to hide the fear in my voice.

His silver orbs were cold as they bore into mine; they were full of hatred, fear, pain, and something dark and twisted.

"Promise that you'll stay with me, and only me. That you'll be mine and mine alone."

"Ein I-"

"Promise! No, swear to me (Y/N)." Ein growled softly as he flashed his fangs and narrowed his eyes.

I chuckled slightly, seeing how serious he was, I leaned forward and kisses his nose, "Fine, I swear."

Ein's face softened, if only for a split second. His lips curled into an evil grin; his silver eyes dulled as he gazed down at me. I felt my body freeze as he lowed himself closer to my face, our lips not even an inch away. My heart was beating so fast and hard I could hear it in my eardrums.

"Don't forget your promise, (Y/N). Or else."

'What have I just done..?'
