Danny's Pov

We walked out of Barnes & Nobles and contemplated on what to do next.

"How about we go to the mall?" Arin asked, still holding my hand. I nodded and followed him across the street.

It was a three floor mall filled with several huge stores to little stands selling nicknacks. In the center was a children's playground and a little merry-go-round.

We rode down the escalator to the second floor.

"Hey Danny?"

"Hmm?" He pointed to the merry-go-round and gave me puppy eyes. "You really want to ride that thing?" He nodded and dragged me along.

After paying the lady at the stand for two people to ride, we walked onto the platform and wondered around trying to find where we should sit.

"Dude over here!" I walked over. He sat down his bag that held his new book onto one of the benches for the adults and picked me up and sat me down onto a horse with a blue saddle.

"What the hell, man? This is for kids!"

"But you look cute like that." I blushed and looked away.

"Fine..." I crossed my arms and rode the ride.

"That...was actually kinda fun." I said as I jumped off the horse. He smiled and linked our hands together. I blushed and hid my face with my jacket sleeve.

"What's wrong?" He took my hand away from my face and moved forward, face inches away from mine. "Not feeling well?"

I shook my head, feeling my cheeks grow hotter.

"N-no. Nothing's wrong!" I pushed his face away with my free hand. "Let's...do something else, okay?" He nodded and led me to a Game Stop.

We walked in and looked through some of the new and old games they had there.

"What about this?" He showed me a game called Pokemon Fire Red. "My friend told me to play it but I want you watch me and my pro skills at work." I laughed at his choice of words.

"Of course I'll watch your 'pro' skills man."

We walked out of the building and started our way home. It was a nice walk. A few blocks that is until Arin became bored and started calling my name over and over.

"Daaaaany!"

"What?!"

"I'm calling this a date!" He cheered.

"W-w-what? Date?" He put his arm around my shoulder.

"Yep!"
