OMG! She actually asked me to watch the stars with her yesterday! I think it's time for me to show my feelings.

I asked Rainbow's siblings and friends to help prepare this surprise and they all said yes! 

I'm so happy I could just explode now.

I sent her a text: Hello Rainbow! Let's have a treasure hunt! Go to the place where we first met.

After school, I was about to leave, when I got a message from Soarin.

Hmm...that's the lockers!

I rushed to my locker as fast as I could, and I saw another note.

Remember our food fight? Remember where we sat? Go there!

The cafeteria! I headed there, and to my usual table.

There's another note.

The detention we got? What you did was amazing. I adore your talents.

The detention room contained another note.

The place I saw your talents for real.

Um...the music room?

Yes, there's yet another note.

Where we sang in the final of the competition.

The hall, the stage to be exact.

Sure enough, another note said: The horizon and us.

The roof of CHS! Where we promised to follow our hearts!

I walked along the usual path to the roof, and I got a pleasant surprise.

I was nearly moved to tears. It was the moment.

"Rainbow Dash. I have something to say. I love you. Ever since I met you, I knew we were something special. Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked sincerely.

I replied with tears in my eyes,"YES!"

Soarin pulled me close, and we kissed for the first time. Above us, fireworks exploded in rainbow colours, like my hair.

Suddenly, my friends and siblings jumped out and squealed,"SOARINDASH FOREVER!"

I blushed. So did Soarin.

"Hey Rainbow! Dance for us!" said Pinkie, jumping up and down.

So I did.

I sighed with happiness, as Soarin embraced me while the others fangirled and squealed.

I found my home, my destiny and everything I wanted.

Soarin said,"I love you."

"Me too, Soary." I replied, putting a hand on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.

A shooting star flew past.

I made a wish. I wish I could be happy and be myself.

Soarin was wishing too.

"What did you wish for?" I asked.

He replied,"To spend my forever with you."

I smiled, and blushed.

I seldom let girly feeling take over, but today I took pleasure in doing so.

This is me!

As I gazed out of the balcony, I felt the tingling sensation again.

I was ponying up!

Strange was, Soarin grew light blue wings and ears. He didn't have hair extensions.

Floating up into the air, I stared down at my friends, siblings, and the astonishing view.

Soarin was right beside me, looking down.

I said,"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small."

"Yeah. It's weird. But I love it!" he said.

I smiled, as the horizon glimmered, wanting me to join it in its journey.

So that's what I'm gonna do. Listen to my heart.

And be myself.

Soarin was thinking almost the same thing. I could tell by his expression.

We gazed at each other, as the others down below whooped and cheered.
