I headed back home with Soarin, in his limo again. It was really luxurious, more than I'm used for. I only catch rides on my friends' cars, or walk to school, working out.

I went into Soarin's room, and asked,"What song are we gonna sing in the competition?"

"I don't know. One of yours?" he suggested.

I replied,"Maybe this one?"

I smiled, and stopped, putting down my guitar.

"OKAY! This is perfect! I'll call your sisters and brothers here this instant! Competitions start on Tuesday!" he cried, and picked up his phone, typing a message to our group chat we made yesterday.

In the group chat:

#HotCeleb: Hey guys! Come over to my house. Rainbow got a brand new song for us to sing in the competition.

BeachWave: What competition?

#TheOneAndOnlyRainbowDash: The Musical Showcase. It's a contest to see who's the best in music! I love this so much!

FireFlare: Awsum! I wanna join!

#HotCeleb: I signed up for it already. Rainbow is participating in two bands, and she's Windy Spectrum in ours. Only one band per person, that's why.

Fleet: Okay! I'm coming, that's for sure!

(Fleet left the group chat.)

I sat on Soarin's bed, strumming my guitar casually.

Five minutes later, the doorbell rang, and Soarin went to open the door, while I waited for him.

In a moment, my siblings burst in, carrying their instruments.

Wave had a saxophone, Fire and Lightning both had basses, Prism had a keyboard, Sky had an accordion, Vapor had her microphone, Fleet had her recorder, and Speedy had the same. 

Soarin was carrying his guitar into the room, last of all.

"What song are we singing, Rainbow?" asked Prism.

I replied,"Stronger. I wrote this. I think it'll sound good with us playing it."

We tested it out.

I was playing my heart out pouring my heart into the music.

Suddenly, Soarin suggested,"Hey Rainbow. You could do a contortion solo in the interlude of the song!"

"WHAT?! I've never performed before. Only to you!" I gasped.

Wave encouraged,"Show us! We won't laugh."

"OH FINE! But it's all your fault when we get disqualified." I sighed, and flipped onto the bedpost with a hand.

Doing a routine I memorized by heart, I spun around on the bedpost, and did spins on the bedroom floor.

My siblings were mesmerized by my elegant movements.

I flipped back down and said,"Ok?"

"FANTASTIC!" shrieked Speedy, and jumped up and down like a kindergarten student.

"How did you do that?" asked Lightning.

I replied,"From YouTube."

The afternoon passed by in a blur, with us singing, rehearsing, and just having general fun. i had the time of my life today.

I smiled, and sang the chorus of the song we're gonna perform:
