Chapter 2
This is chapter two. This will kinda explain more about Percy's growing up until age 12, then in the next chapter the story will really start going. As I said it will be his quests Supernaturalized so yeah it should be pretty cool. Thanks. The song is 'Party Poison' by My Chemical Romance.
5 years later
John let Dean and Sam keep Percy, though he said he wanted nothing to do with him. Then about two years later he realized how smart Percy was and could become. He could breed him into the perfect hunter. He feels like he messed up with Sam and Dean. Sam was too rebellious and Dean was too much like a solider. He had two extremes and now he wanted a neutral. He started by sending him to karate. Sam and Dean were apprehensive at first, why would their dad all of the sudden want him to do that. He made up the excuse of them not always being able to protect him at school. He had already experienced bullying because he didn't stay in a school for too long and was really smart. He did spend 90% of his life with Sam and he would ask Sam to read him the things he read. Neither brother could ever say no to him so he'd read it to him, even if it was about monsters. He figured out the monster hunting thing really quickly. The weird thing was that he wasn't scared, he said that he had Sam and Dean and they could always save him. He already knew some Latin because of the whole reading to him part. He was a natural at it if Sam was completely honest. He knew how to read English well. He already knew how to kill a lot of monsters and how to figure out what was killing people. He also had his first paranormal experience. It was in June. He was left in a hotel room alone. Sam was up state on a case and Dean was called by his father in an emergency. Something about a lot more vampires than expected. He really didn't want to leave Percy, but he also didn't want to leave his dad hanging. Dean and John came back late that night to find Percy sitting in a salt circle watching cartoons. He said something about a flickering lady in white that wanted him to follow her to the playroom. This was when John really became interested in Percy. It turns out that the lady was murdered with her kid in the hotel. She led kids down to the basement, where she was buried and told them to play hide and seek, like she told her kid when the murderer was chasing them. The kids usually weren't found for weeks. John used Percy to find the body. He told him to apologize to the white lady. She accepted it and led him to the basement. Dean and John followed behind. Dean was really surprised at how calm Percy was. He was polite and asked questions and listened. They were on a high floor and the woman insisted on using the stairs. She led him right to her bones and then Dean and John torched her. "Let's go guys, I'm tired." Percy waved them up towards the room. Dean held Percy close that night, not for the younger's sake, but for Dean's realization that the little baby he knew was no longer a little baby.
Three more years (Percy is about to turn 9)
Percy is probably the smartest 9 year-old to go to at least four schools in four years. He was practically fluent in Latin and knew about almost every monster in existence. Percy has become the new researcher ever since Sam's 'betrayal' (as John put it). He was more than smart enough and had a knack for finding trouble. He still secretly kept in touch with Sam. It was pretty easy when he was left alone for days on end. He'd never talk about hunting with him because he knew Sam was trying to escape it. He'd ask about college and Sam's new friends. He really loves his brothers and wasn't going to let something as silly as Sam moving to get in his way of talking to them. John and Dean never talked about Sam, at least never in front of Percy. Percy noticed the storm brewing inside of John. To him, it was hard to miss. He had more outbursts, went on longer solo trips and drank a lot more than he used to. Percy didn't expect what would happen the next day, though. He never expected that John would send him away to one of his 'good hunting buddy', Gabe Ugliano.
Okay, another time skip. 2 more years (Season 1 Episode 1) Also it will be in Percy's POV from now on.
I've been living alone for about a month now. I killed Gabe. Well technically the demon inside Gabe killed Gabe and I sent the demon back to hell, who left the dead body of Gabe behind. I'm definitely not strong enough to carry the giant body, never mind bury it, so I just closed the door of Gabe's bedroom and got used to the smell. I was all alone now. I don't know how long the demon had been inside Gabe, but about a month in he got cruel. Firs he told me that all of the Winchesters died. The same thing that killed my mom got them too. Then he would rub in the fact that I had no one left, that turned into threats, saying he could kill me and no one would notice. I know he was and still is right. Someone will eventually notice Gabe's absence and send the cops down here, then they'll find me and a rotting corpse up stairs. They'll send me off to jail or wherever underage murders go. I'm fine with it though, anywhere is bound to be better than here. Gabe really liked his alcohol and Gabe on alcohol really didn't like me. Gabe really went downhill. He didn't have a job, never got up and never went shopping. I had to provide for the both of us. It was like a lion's pride providing for the head lion. He'd get mostly everything and leave me with barely anything left. Of course, I had the job of the entire pride. I cleaned, cooked, got the food, everything. I'm not old enough to get a job, so I made due and pick pocketed rich people, they could afford to donate to charity. I would have went to somebody, but Gabe told me that I'd go to an orphanage that would treat me even worse. I know I shouldn't have believed him, but I did. I still don't know why the demon was here. I didn't want to interrogate it, I just wanted to, no I needed to get rid of it. I'm going to save Gabe's character in my head and hope that the demon was in there for that long and I was just too blind to see it. I just wish Sam and Dean were here. They'd know what to do. I wish I could leave, but I can't. 11 year olds can't buy tickets unless they have an adult and where wold I even go? I don't remember where Bobby lives and I don't really know many other hunters. Maybe I could be come one of those forest children like on NatGeoWild special documentaries. I should probably sleep, it's getting late.
I was woken up by a phone ringing. That's odd, nobody ever called here. I better answer, it might be an emergency. I walk up to the phone and answer, "Hello?" A gruff voice answered, "Is there a Gabe Ugliano there?" I racked my brain thinking of a believable lie, "No, he's on a hunting trip. Who is asking?" "It's Dean, John Winchester's son." Was the reply. No way! He's dead. I unintentionally gasped. "Really?" I asked, still stunned. "Uh yeah? Why?" "It's me! Percy! They told me you died!" I heard a gasp over the phone. Then I heard someone question what was wrong then Dean asked, "Percy? Where have you been?" There was fighting over the phone, Sam must be back! "I've been here. Gabe told me a month in that all of you died!" I started crying in relief. I wasn't all alone! Dean was able to keep the phone. "That's impossible. Dad told me that Gabe said you were gone. He said you just disappeared and he was looking for you." I heard a faint, "Put the phone on speaker." "Yeah, Gabe. He's, uh dead." I confessed. "What?! How? When? Where? Are you okay?" The panicked questions stopped when I answered, ""Yeah, I'm okay. He's been up in his room for about a month. He had a demon in him. I don't know why or for how long. It must've killed him and possessed his body." "A month?! We're coming to get you now. Hang tight." "Do you guys promise that you're okay?" "Yeah, we promise." That was Sam. "Okay, I'll let you two drive. Bye. I love you guys." "We love you too, buddy. We'll be there in like four hours." Dean replied. I hung up. I can't believe it! They're okay. I'm half waiting for something to jump out and yell 'Physch!' I need to pack my things. I don't have much. Maybe they'll be hungry. I can make them something. I need to slow my brain down. First, pack my stuff. After I'm done packing I can make food. Then if I have extra time I'll sit outside and wait for them. After I finished packing, which didn't take me long because I don't have much, I make some spaghetti Os. Then I had a new thought. I should probably take Gabe's old hunting stuff so people won't think he's crazy or start hunting when they find him. I packed all of his books in a bag and all of his weapons in two duffel bags. He was more of a local hunter so he didn't have too much. I looked at the clock. They should be here in the next half hour- hour. I'll bring everything outside, then we could leave right away. I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. Forty minutes later I hear the sound of an engine pulling in and wheels on gravel. It must be them. I stand up from my spot on the stairs and start to run towards the sound. I see two tall guys get out of a low black car. Sam and Dean! They see me and start running towards me and when we meet I'm wrapped up in a giant hug. "I've missed you guys so much!" "Percy, I was so worried when you stopped calling!" Sam worried over me. "I'm okay now. You guys are here!" I assured him. They both let me go and I led them towards the house. "Come on, I made you guys some Spaghetti-O's." I could hear Dean laugh quietly at that.
Okay I'm done with chapter two, surprisingly. I like where this story is heading in my mind, but I'm always up for criticism. Okay, bye guys. Love ya!
