Scott's Pov

I was at the beach with the pack—which is something we don't normally do—because Stiles suggested it and there was nothing better to do.

I was sitting on the beach with my girlfriend, Kira and my friends were doing a surfing "competition", I could see them perfectly, because nobody was here besides us.

Lydia was talking with Malia about who should win. I'm surprised to say Stiles is doing the best, and he is the only human out of us. Derek and Isaac were surfing with him, and they were losing, and they didn't look too happy about it.

That is when I smelt something dangerous and fishy, like a shark, by the looks of it, so did the rest of us, well, all of us except Lydia, Kira and Stiles... oh no Stiles! Malia—probably noticing the same thing as me—and I jumped up.

Derek and Isaac came in, the were probably forgetting that Stiles didn't know there was a shark, and then I saw it, the shark, swimming, just like a puppy near Stiles—I am officially confused—and guess what, he actually pet the shark, like it was a lost pet. (A/N That Mako shark Percy played within chapter 17 of the first book )

he looked so calm, but I was sweating like crazy, so I said, "hey Stiles can you come here for a moment?"

I tried my best not to panic. he looked at the shark and the shark swam away and Stiles came in, Like petting, a shark was such a normal thing to do. (Note the sarcasm)

I was about to say something but Derek beat me to it, "what the hell was that Stiles?!"

He answered by saying, "I didn't see it until it was next to me and then I saw on It's fin that it was a trained shark—like for swimming with the sharks—and I thought that it just ran away."

  (A/N it's half true not a lie but not the truth the shark did have a tag on it and he didn't see it but he knew it was there)

he was telling the truth, but somehow not the truth I don't get it, "well tell us before you go pet a shark. ok? you scared us do we have a dea–"

Lydia was cut of when two people came near the beach, they were fighting a thing that looked like that thing from Greek class with the 8 heads, what was it called again it started with a 'H'.

Stiles look confused because it was going on behind him, we were going to help when Derek said, "demigods..." like he was in aww.

Stiles turned around so fast he might have gotten whiplash.

the girl—the one fighting the monster like things—had spiky black hair, and she looked like she was so used to fighting these things, even more used to it then we were.

When they were done with the monster they looked half dead. and I don't know if anyone else noticed but, Stiles looked like a ghost, and he looked mad, like he was ticked off about something.

the girl looked our way, she gasped, she was bleeding badly on her head, the blood was dripping on the sand.

she was probably 5 yards away when she looked at Stiles and she just got out a gasp of, "Percy?" before she collapsed on the ground.

Stiles and the other guy ran up to her we followed.
