Lydia's pov

Wow it is not my night to ask questions at least Stiles said, "one of my gifts was blue cookies let's eat."

He handed some out and then Scott said, "so Stiles why does your mom make food blue?"
Stiles seemed a little uncomfortable.

the others noticed it too, and Grover and Stiles both seemed a bit alarmed at the question, but answered anyway, "well when I was younger, my mom made a birthday cake for me that was blue, and my first stepfather—he seemed to sneer at the word—said there was no such thing as blue food, and my mom went out of her way to eat blue ever since then."

Then Isaac asked from the corner with Alison, "what happened to him like were is he." We were all wondering, it seemed even Thaila and Nico were wondering.

I don't think Grover did though he looked mildly uncomfortable. Then Stiles said the thing I was not expecting, "oh, Mom and I turn him to stone with medusa's head." He said it so calm and casual, like what he said was no big deal.

Half the people here spit out there food, except Grover, he shoved more food in his mouth, trying not to be seen, proving he knew already.

Scott said, "WHAT! WHY! WHY DID YOU KILL HIM?!!! WHAT!" Then I thought—no, I knew, the way he talked about him, with hate and the way he sneered his name, the fact he killed him, it all screamed abuse.

gods I hoped I was wrong, Stiles seemed like he didn't want too answer Scott's question, he got up and said, "I'm going to go check on Malia." He confirmed my thoughts when he walked of giving Grover a look that said explain for me.

I covered my mouth with my hand in shock holding back tears. Grover turned around and said, "look, Percy's first step-father was a evil son of Hera, and deserved being turned into stone."

then he said, "Percy doesn't like to talk about him, it makes him mad and ready to hit something."

that's when it clicked in for the rest of them, and they looked to Percy, I had been staring at him since I had figured it out.

Thaila said her voice cracking as she—like me—covered her mouth with her hands, "h- how come he never told us." Grover said, "now you guys need to leave it alone, and not talk about it, I don't think Annabeth even knows."

Percy came back and said, "she's ok, let's go to sleep, someone has to keep watch, I can—" I volunteered before he could finish, he was already exhausted, he told me as everyone went to sleep, "if anything happens wake me Okay?"

I nodded and he went to sleep.
I started playing with my two new necklaces, one that when I yanked it off my neck, it would turn into two knives in my hands, it wouldn't come back to me if I lost it it wasn't a magical sword like Percy's, and the other was my camp necklace, it didn't have any beads yet, but I'm sure it would soon.

I walked down the tree and I made sure to bring the severed head of Medusa with me. then I walked around a bit.

And twenty minutes later when I was headed back to camp, I saw them, three demon hagged faced, bat winged, yellow fanged, ladies.

they looked like they were fighting, "I told you he's somewhere around here! he must have climbed a tree!" one of them said, I was smart, and I knew there was no way I would be able to take them on by my self.

thank the gods Stiles was behind me, and he said in a hushed whisper, "Lydia were are you, your not supposed to leave camp without a partner, we went over this."

I walked over to him as quick and quiet as I could be, and said, "shhh bat ladies at ten o clock!"

he got out his sword and said, "the kindly ones!—what kind of name is that for a scary monster—come on, you go in front of them and have there focus on you, then I'll come behind them or I'll borrow Annabeth's cap and kill them."

We walked and he put on a cap and literally disappeared, "Stiles!" I whispered furiously,

he whispered in my ear reassuringly, "don't worry, I'm right here I'll hold on to your shoulders, then when we see the kindly ones I'll kill them."

Then I said, "how do you know them? you speak of them as if you've met the personality."

"Oh one of them was my pre-algebra teacher." I didn't have much time for processing all of that because the demon ladies saw me. Stiles's grip tightened on my shoulder, and I could tell he stepped in front of me one of the fury's said, "now honey, you really shouldn't be out at this time of night."

This was weird, because monsters don't normally call you honey and scold you for being out late, Well at least in my experience they don't, well it's not as much of Greek monsters though.

Anyway the one that talk to me, ran at me claws out, when I felt Stiles leave my side and the pre-algebra teacher—I'm guessing that is her—had two slice marks that look like a X tipped to the side.

He cut the other one on the right in a T formation.
And in one of the lady's shock Percy cut through her then the woman said, "Annabeth Chase but no that's not rig—" she was sliced in to pieces but stayed alive long enough to hear, "no her boyfriend."

Stiles took the cap off, grabbed my hand and started running to the camp site, then before we got up the tree he said, "I'm going to be the watch now you should get some sleep."

Before I went to sleep I gave him a hug, "thanks for helping me back there, oh and Stiles were gonna find your girlfriend, and I'm going to meet my sister! ok night!"

we climbed up the tree, I saw some calculations that I could use to get up the tree faster but then I looked to the side and there was a snake that said, "princessssss had day good tonight doesss sssshhhhhe me thinksss good of that me thinksss."

(A snake is Athena's land Animal she created it and for the way it's talking well I just wanted to put someone in here that reminded me of temp from the Gregor the overlander series)

I nearly fell out of the dam tree, but I froze with fear, and I almost screamed, but I didn't want to blow up its head with my scream, so I bit my lip.

Then I said kind of in a long whin, "Stilesss...the snake is talking to me." He laughed and said, "Lydia remember how Owls can talk to you?" I nodded, "well a snake can do the same."

"Me comessss withssss princessssss me comesss? princesssss comes pleassse princessssss pleassssee me comessss pleassse?" After having a conversation with the snake, she came with me and became my friend, she said she wouldn't hurt Percy either she was definitely my new pet.

We got to the top and I fell asleep with my snake friend Οχιά. (Pronounced Ochiá it means viper in Greek)

When I woke up I was not were I fell asleep, no I was in what looked like a igloo, with a curly blond haired girl with gorgeous grey eyes staring at me and she said, "you snore when you sleep."
