Derek's pov

I am very disappointed in my self.

I can't believe I was singing a Broadway song, in the middle of the road. to be fair though, how can you not sing to helpless.

the next song was satisfied, Lydia was the only one of us who has heard it and she said it was and I quoted, "a little sad." and, "Angelica is a really good sister." and, "I would not do that for my sister." which is a huge spoile- oh no I've turned into a fanboy this has to stop.

"No it doesn't, you haven't found out what happens next!" a voice hissed in the back of my head. you know it's that moment when you argue with your self but you always seem to lose.

That's when Nico said, "you know I've noticed that you have a weird werewolf pack is this usual?" So I said back, "no when I was an alpha my pack was beta, beta, beta, alpha. Scott's is coyote, human—well we thought, so demigod—banshee, kitsune, beta, beta, Alpha."

Nico raised his eyebrows, "you were an alpha? no wonder your so grumpy and strict." Thaila, Stiles, and Grover burst out laughing, and said immaturely, "oh gods he called you grumpy! that says so much oh gods hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Stiles then fell on the ground.

Both Nico and I were offended, and we huffed and I said, "I'm not grumpy, I just don't see why people are such idiots all the time."

Then Nico said, "hey Pinecone face do you think that maybe we could listen to the next song? after you girls go to sleep?" She wasn't really listening so she said, "sure whatever knock your self out."

Now the sad part is that part of me was screaming, "YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY YYAYYY YAY!!" The other part of my was judging the first part.

Lydia's pov

I was about to tell Thaila that she said they could play that music again when I realized, satisfied was the next song.

  I haven't heard it in a month, and I love it so much, then I decided that I was going to let them listen to satisfied in after one time I would shut it off, So I would have that song stuck in my head, instead off the one that keeps playing right now, "what's new pussycat woah what's new p- oh for gods sake shut up."

(Oh my gosh I can't even tell you how annoying that song is at least I didn't have to hear it seven times at a dinner then have sweet relief when it's not and usually comes on and then knowing that's a trick when I have to listen to what's new pussycat 11 times with no choice)

Nico's pov

Muhahahaha I just tricked Thaila into saying I can listen to hamilton!

we were all wondering if we could listen to satisfied, we wanted to know what happened next when I met Alexander Hamilton in the underworld he never told me that his and his wife's lives were so interesting, and what happened to Angelica she never told me?

Well, I would find out later tonight, why Angelica has a song about what happened, hey maybe she did something important?

Hum I guess I know later, man I hate waiting, "Percy what time is it?" I asked surely it had to be at least an hour.

He looked at his watch and said, "about ten minutes after the last time you asked me, you now, when Thaila turned off the music? why water you asking for?"

That's it I'm going to die! I was just going to ignore him but I answered, "nothing go die in a pit!"

(He has no clue how close Percy came to Listening to him, by the way how many of you were as outraged and flabbergasted at the end of the mark of Athena because I was looking back on it and everything and I remember having to wait months to read house of hades and dying at the possibilities)

"Ok!" Thaila said taking me out of my thoughts, "Nico, Lydia, Percy and Isaac you will be group 1, Grover, Derek and Scott group 2, and Malia Kira and I will be group 3."

"Percy, Grover, and I know the plan of were to meet, so now I will tell you why we're spitting up Grover, Scott, and Derek have good noses, Scott being a Alpha can see and hear better Derek's been a werewolf, and surviving off of instinct since he was young he has the street smarts to keep that them alive, and Grover knows every plant and berry around he will be able to know what fruits are possibly poisonous, So you will find food."

"we found a old translation book, so someone can read English and pronounce it, but it will work in Lithuanian as well, so seeing as Lydia is good with languages, and she picked up a lot of Greek after about three days, and is awesome at Latin, her job is learning how to say simple phrases to help us here in Lithuania."

"Plus you will be going with Nico, Percy and Isaac, because they are very fast and Percy can filter any water so it's drinkable, and Isaac and Nico can make sure you don't run into a tree or something dangerous, so they can kill it and you can continue learning that language and collect water."

"my group will hunt, Kira says she can make fires easily, and Malia was a coyote for a few years so she knows how to be fast and stealthy, and I am a hunter of Artemis, so I know how to hunt animals and never miss."

She paused and looked at us all sternly, "I'm going to say this here and now, Artemis is also the goddess of Animals, so Anything we kill we have to use it all, every single part of it. except Grover seeing as he is half animal and does not eat meat, Ok let's move out!"

she said all this so fast I could barely catch it all.

Thaila's pov (this will include animal death so if you don't like don't read it it's only about a sentence long second sentence)

We were tracking a deer, and I was about shoot it, when I noticed the color and stopped, it was Artemis's sacred animal, the Cerynian Hind or the golden hind, so I turned to the one near it.

this was obviously just a normal deer,
and I shot it quickly and cleanly then as the Cerynian Hind ran off I ran to get the dead animal.

Malia hissed at me, " Why'd you let that huge one go! what is wrong with you!"
I said, "that was a specifically sacred Animal and I wouldn't kill it."

She looked frustrated and said, "so let me get this straight! you wouldn't kill the tastiest looking deer ever! because it was sacred!" she said this like I was a lunatic and she had to phrase herself carefully. She rolled her eyes and we headed of to were Kira was.

Percy's/Stiles's pov

Lydia seams like she could read and walk through the woods while learning a new language, without getting a scratch.

the other guys seemed to keep hitting trees, and thorns, and Nico fell in a hole. Lydia hadn't looked up once, but she was moving out of the way like it was nothing, and when we found a river she stopped at a root lifted her leg up and hopped over it all well saying, "Ar galite mums padėti?" (can you help us?) what does that even mean!

Isaac tripped over the root, hit into Death breath and knocked them both in the river. good thing I can control it or they would be floating down stream.

I pulled them out of the river dried them off and then I raised there blood temperature using the water in there bodies like a Grisha if I were in that book. Yes I read it, it was a masterpiece, don't judge, Six of Crows is great!

I heard Lydia scoff and say, "kvailys." (morons) which was her probably saying they were stupid.

That was when she said, "you know this book is mostly insults, we need someone who speaks the actual language fluently Nico can I discuss something with you."

Grover's pov

Well this was going just great!

the nymphs from the poisonous bushes were really nice and told us that we shouldn't eat the fruit on there life force, one nymph named Bella from a belladonna bush said that we shouldn't trust her neighbor who was ready to poison anyone, but the problem is that all the nymphs here that aren't poisonous, hit us when we come by!

expect Derek they have flirted with him a lot to day.

Then Bella said, "if your looking for a nymph that's not poisonous and doesn't hate everyone then I'll show you Clove, she can help you."

So we listened, and walked with her.

Scott's pov

The first time a green woman popped out of a tree I almost had a heart attack.

And I'm sad to say I still don't like Grover, that Much and I don't know why, he's really, really nice and he seems like a really loyal guy, and I know there's nothing bad about him, like I know he's not going to shift sides or anything, I don't have a bad feeling about him, I just don't really like him.

He was talking to this woman from a bush that looked more like a blueberry bush then anything, after we were hit on the head multiple times by different plant people.

We were now about to start hiking for our food.
