Chapter 3
Percy stood in Tartarus. Percy's cloak billowed as a harsh wind blew across the terrain. Percy's eyes were still a deep red, and was still furious. The seas haven't calmed down much, they aren't forming tsunamis anymore, but they are still unsafe for boats. The skies are still dark and it was pouring across the world, the winds blowing furiously.
Percy opened up his godly senses and searched for Gaia's aura signature, figuring if he found her, he would find Lyra. Percy would have searched for Lyra's aura signature but something was blocking it from even Percy.
After several minutes, Percy finally got a whiff of Gaia's aura and rushed at full speeds towards it. An hour later, Percy found himself in front of a dark Palace. Percy groaned because he knew exactly where he was. He was in front of Lady Nyx's palace and he did not like it.
Taking a deep breath, Percy took out his bow and notched an arrow as he flashed inside the palace. He followed his senses as he tracked down Gaia. His senses never having failed him, he soon came across a room where Gaia was having a conversation with Nyx.
Percy chanted in an Ancient Language, once finished, Percy smiled knowing that Gaia and Nyx can't teleport themselves away thanks to the spell he just casted. They can't shadow travel or use anything to leave this room.
With that done, Percy let out an animalistic growl as he made his presence known. Gaia's eyes widened in shock and fear before she tried to flash away. When the light died down, Gaia was on the floor clutching her head.
'I can't have you running away before giving me answers, now can I? Where's Lyra mud face ?' Percy asked impatiently.
Gaia glared at Percy despite the fear in her eyes. 'Like I'm going to tell you!' She sneered defiantly.
Percy laughed coldly and evilly. 'I was hoping you would say that' Percy said in a cold emotionless voice.
Nyx took a cautious step back. 'Who are you?' She asked curiously.
Percy smiled. 'I'm The Hunter. Gaia here has someone I care about, I'm here to torture Gaia and retrieve her. If you get in my way, I will be forced to torture both of you, either way, I'm leaving Tartarus with Lyra and Gaia will die forever' Percy said coldly.
Gaia laughed. 'You can't take on two Primordial Deities at the same time!' Gaia sneered looking happy.
Percy smiled. 'Yes I can' He said, and with that, he charged Gaia.
Gaia reacted quickly, Summoning a sword made out of earth. Percy drew his dual swords and swung both of them at Gaia. Gaia blocked it just like Percy wanted her to. As their blades were about to connect, Percy sidestepped and swung both his swords in a parallel motion, chopping her arm off.
Gaia screeched in pain as she clutched the stump she now had for an arm. Before she could do anything else, Percy punched her as hard as he could on the face, leaving Gaia knocked out.
Percy then turned to a fearful Nyx, who stood to the side in shock and awe. She has never before seen anyone best Gaia so quickly in all her immortal life. No even Perseus Jackson defeated her so easily. How did Perseus, a lowly God, defeat a Primordial Goddess so easily?
'Do you have a problem with me torturing Gaia or are you going to allow me to leave with Gaia?' Percy asked coolly.
Nyx shook herself out of her thoughts and nodded. 'If you wish, you could use my dungeons to torture Gaia. She did bring this upon herself after all' Nyx said calmly, though her eyes gave away her fear.
Percy laughed. 'Finally, a deity with a brain!' Percy said in a happy tone before picking up Gaia by her hair.
'Where's your dungeons?' Percy asked.
Nyx walked over to Percy. 'Here I will flash you over' She said as Percy shook his head.
'Nah, I wanna drag this bitch down there myself' Percy said.
Nyx nodded. 'Very well, follow me' She said as she turned and led the way to the dungeons.
Percy being Percy, dragged Gaia by her foot down the stairs, saying sorry every time her head bounced off the floor much to Nyx's amusement.
~~~Time skip~~~
'I'm not going to ask you again Gaia' Percy whispered in a dangerous tone in her ear.
Gaia whimpered. 'I will never tell you' She spat defiantly.
Percy sighed. He has had enough of playing games with Gaia. Percy's eyes began to glow a deep black with meteors flashing across his eyes. Gaia began to scream in pure fear, knowing what he was about to do. But it was too late, Percy was already inside her mind.
Percy walked through her memories until he found the memory of Gaia speaking to Tartarus after capturing Lyra.
'I need you to torture her. She has valuable information we need. I also want you to brainwash her if possible afterwards so she works for me. She's more powerful than Artemis, and Artemis is the most dangerous Olympian right now' Gaia said to Tartarus, whom stood there, his face not even visible.
'As you wish sister. However, I'm concerned about this Hunter you encountered. Thousands of monsters speak of him in fear, yet you stole his girlfriend. He is angry, have you not seen the meteors he has caused to fall from the heavens?' Tartarus asked wearily.
Gaia rolled her eyes. 'He will get over it. Besides, we have something he wants. Perhaps he will join us if we can get his girlfriend to join us' Gaia said smiling.
Tartarus nodded, but was still weary. 'Very well. I have a cell in my arena. I will have her brought there and tortured immediately' He said in a voice full of authority.
Percy smiled as he now knew where Lyra was being kept. He returned to his own body, his lips forming a grin.
'Thank you for your cooperation' Percy said before taking out his sword and chopping her head off.
Instead of turning into dust and dispersing, Gaia faded from existence, before fading away for all eternity. He never liked Gaia anyways, Percy couldn't believe Chaos gave birth to a bitch like her.
Percy flashed away and appeared inside The Arena. Percy's eyes flared as he heard screams of pain. He knew who's voice that belonged to as well.
'Lyra!' Percy said before following her screams full speed.
Charging through dozens of hallways and ripping apart hundreds of monsters, Percy finally came to a halt in front of a cell door where the screams are coming from.
Percy kicked down the door, his twin swords dripping monster blood and monster dust. Percy's eyes glared a dangerous red that would make Medusa turn to stone and disintegrate. Inside, Percy found a bloodbath. Lyra laid on the ground breathing heavily, Silver Ichor flowing freely from her wounds. Tears rained down from Percy's eyes as he looked more closely at Lyra.
She barely had clothes on. And what she did was torn with so many holes, it seemed pointless for her to wear them. Her body was covered in many wounds, scars and fresh wounds. Her arm was bent in a strange direction, her face was all bruised that if Percy didn't know it was Lyra, he never would have known who she was.
At this sight, Percy snapped. What little self control he had was completely gone. Power rolled off of him in waves. The monsters that tried to kill him turned to ashes and dust. Tartarus, who stood on top of Lyra with a dagger, shook in fear. Percy couldn't control his form any longer. His body ripped apart and for the second time that week, Percy transformed into his true divine form.
His body no longer had skin, it was made completely out of celestial energy. His insides were hot, giving off immense waves of heat that not even the sun could compare to. The walls and ceiling of the arena shook dangerously and began to crack.
Then the walls began to break and crumble into dust, entire hallways filled with monsters caved in and killed everyone. Percy stretched out his hand and grabbed Tartarus by the throat.
'You should never have harmed Lyra. You will suffer a fate worse than death' Percy said as his celestial energetic 'skin' burned Tartarus' skin.
That said, Percy bound him in Celestial Bronze chains and flashed him away to the Celtic Throne Room. Percy then turned to Lyra who was watching in relief, and a bit of fear.
'Percy' She whispered horsely.
At the sound of her angelic voice, Percy managed to rein in his emotions and regain control of himself enough to form back into his mortal form.
'Lyra! Everything will be ok. I'm here, I will keep you safe' Percy said reassuringly as he wrapped his arms around Lyra's basically naked body.
Tears streamed down Lyra's swollen face. 'Thank you Percy. Thank you so much' She whispered as they continued to hug.
Percy smiled. His body then began to glow brightly, releasing healing energy that soothed Lyra's wounded body. Lyra snuggled closer to Percy's body, leaving no room between them. The healing energy Percy was releasing seemed to be working as Lyra's wounds began to close and disappear as though no harm had ever come to Lyra. Not even her scars remained.
Lyra breathed in deeply, her love for Percy reaching new heights.
Percy took a deep breath as he prepared to tell her how he felt.
'Lyra, I need to tell you something I should have told you a long time ago' Percy began nervously as he gently pulled away from Lyra.
She looked up at Percy nervously but her eyes were filled with unspoken love. 'Yes Percy? What is it?' She asked kindly.
Percy stared into her beautiful eyes, loosing himself in her gaze. 'I want to let you know that for as long as we've known each other, I have had feelings for you. Feelings that have only gotten stronger with each passing day since we met. I-I love you Lyra, more than anything else in my entire life' Percy admitted, scared he might have scared her off.
Percy sighed. 'It's ok if you don't feel the same way, I just wanted you to know is all' Percy said looking down.
Lyra let out a look of shock before smiling, her eyes glowing with her growing love for Percy. She reached across and placed her hand on Percy's chin before raising his head.
When Percy was looking at her, Percy gasped at the intensity of Lyra's eyes and the love he saw in them. Before he could say anything, Lyra leaned in and crashed her lips against Percy's. Percy was shocked at first, but them molded into the kiss as Lyra gave off a soft moan.
For many minutes, they kissed before breaking apart to breathe in. They looked at each other, love shining in their eyes.
'I love you too Percy' Lyra whispered before kissing Percy again but more passionately.
Percy smiled into the kiss before pulling Lyra closer to him, Lyra's hands pulling Percy closer to her by the back of his head. Lyra moaned in pleasure as Percy's hands roamed her body.
Percy flashed out of Tartarus with Lyra in his arms. And founds themselves in a thick forest.
Lyra smiled up at him before they continued what they started in Tartarus.
