Grimmauld Place
I just want to say: I love you guys! All your comments just make my day and they make me want to update faster(which I will probably be doing for the next few weeks). I appreciate you all understanding my standards in my writing and what goes in and what stays out of my stories. You all are just amazhang and I love you guys!
P. S. The picture: I live in Arizona and this is what happened Christmas Eve night...it actually snowed!!

"No one is going to die," Percy growled out, sounding very different from the cheerful boy inside.
"Mount your brooms, that is the first signal!" Lupin shouted as red sparks flew up into the air in the distance.
Harry could not help but notice that Percy did not have a broom. Before he could say anything, green sparks went up and Lupin shouted, "Second signal, let's go!"
Harry kicked off hard and in the next second, he was in the air, flying next to Percy.
Wait.
What?
But there he was, flying without a broom. The only other thing off about it was the giant, gold and blue shimmered gold wings that sprouted from his back, flapping peacefully to keep him in the air.
I watched as Harry saw me fly next to him without a broom and silently laughed when I saw him almost fall off his broom. The others that I came with on the way here had much the same reaction. Except for Hestia of course, she would know already because she is the goddess of the hearth and all.
I noticed he was watching me when we landed too, probably looking to see where my wings went. His face was priceless when he saw them disappear, I almost laughed out loud.
My thoughts were interrupted when the guy with the funny eye handed me a piece of paper. I looked at it and looked at Moody-I think- with confusion. "I know," I said slowly. "I mean, it is right in front of us."
He looked at me in confusion as well. "This is your first time at Grimmauld place correct?" He asked in his gruff voice.
I nodded. I had arrived only a few hours before they had to get Harry so they decided to get me on the way. They took Will to head quarters first, since we already had enough people on this retrieval mission.
"Then how?..." Lupin asked, having overheard.
I suddenly had a feeling I should not have been able to see the apartment that was sitting right in front of us.
I shrugged. Maybe the charm they used could manipulate the Mist somehow.
Once inside, Moody took the invisible charm off of Harry and some red headed woman came and showed Harry upstairs to where I assume he was staying.
Moody and Lupin led the way into the meeting that seems to have started already. I was the last to enter but once I did, I heard my name shouted from across the room.
"Percy!" It was Will and Hestia who had already found him ands was sitting in between him and an empty chair presumably for me. "Over here!" As if on que, the entire room fell silent.
The Order watched as I made my way to the empty chair.
Long after the silence and watching became creepy, the same guy with the long beard that invited me stood up. "Now that we're all here," he said. "I'd like to introduce some guests. Perseus Jackson, Will Solace and Hestia Jones."
I nodded along with Hestia while Will waved cheerfully.
"Perseus and Will are here to keep an eye on Mr. Potter while at Hogwarts and Hestia is-"
"Just here with Percy," Hestia interrupted. "I only came to see that he was in good hands on behalf of my family. We've had some problems with people stealing him away from us."
I snorted at that. "It is not my fault now is it?" I protested.
"I know and I'm sorry Percy," Hestia said.
I waved my hand. "It is a joke, dear niece, just a joke," I assured her. "It is not your fault either."
"And he is in excellent care with us here, my dear," the red headed woman put in.
Hestia smiled at the witch and looked at me, worry still evident. "Yes, I can see that, thank you," she said. "Just keep and eye on him as well, trouble follows him like a moth to a flame."
"You have no need to worry dear," the witch said, a broad smile on her face.
"Thank you. Since that is all taken care of, I'll be going," Hestia said, rising from her seat. "Take care, Percy, dear. I would have to report to your father you've died."
I laughed. "He'd raise me back from the dead only to kill me again!" I said.
"You sure that isn't Nico?" Will spoke up.
Hestia laughed as she disappeared in a pillar of flames.
"Remarkable woman," the bearded man commented.
I looked at him, wondering what he meant by that. I hoped it was not what I thought, that would be just creepy.
"Well, since we've got that out of the way, Mrs. Weasley?" The man said. "You've got the door covered?"
"Of course, Professor Dumbledore," the red headed woman nodded. "He is upstairs with Ron and Hermione."
I frowned in confusion. I hope they were not talking about-
"Mr. Potter is not to know of what goes on here, as you all know," Dumbledore said. "As well as the others, they are much too young for this sort of thing."
Before I could say anything, Will spoke up, "Wait, you mean to tell me he does not attend these meetings and you don't even tell him what goes on?"
Silence.
I stared laughing. "Oh, this is rich!" I said, "and with the excuse of him being too young! Will, do you remember when I did not know what was going on?"
"Which time?" Will asked, a smirk on his face.
"Very funny," I retorted. "The thing is, he is going to-"
I got interrupted by a faint shouting coming from upstairs. Even with my enhanced hearing, I knew the others could hear it because all the side conversations stopped. "SO YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE MEETINGS, BIG DEAL! YOU'VE STILL BEEN HERE, HAVEN'T YOU? YOU'VE STILL BEEN TOGETHER! ME, I'VE BEEN STUCK AT THE DURSLEY'S FOR A MONTH! AND I'VE HANDLED MORE THAN YOU TWO'VE MANAGED AND DUMBLEDORE KNOWS IT-WHO SAVED THE SORCERER'S STONE?WHO GOT RID OF RIDDLE? WHO SAVED BOTH YOUR SKINS FROM DEMENTORS?"
I sat back, waved my hand so his voice could be heard clearly throughout the room.
"WHO HAD TO GET PAST DRAGONS AND SPHINXES AND EVERY OTHER FOUL THING LAST YEAR? WHO SAW HIM COME BACK? WHO HAD TO ESCAPE FROM HIM? ME!"
Mrs. Weasley sat in her seat, looking to be on the verge of tears. Lupin was staring at the table like it was the most interesting thing in the room. Moody had moved his eye to look at the ceiling.
"BUT WHY SHOULD I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY SHOULD ANYONE BOTHER TO TELL ME WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING?"
I cut it off when I was sure everyone had gotten the message. And put a silencing spell on the ceiling. "You understand that he will know what to avoid and what not to do if he actually knew what was going on," I told them. "He will find out on his own, I know him well enough to tell you this. And people will die this way. A lot more people than necessary in this war."
"Why should we believe you?" A man with long black hair demanded.
"I was in his position once," I said. "Thrown into war preparations without a clue about what was going on and without a clue about the world I was newly introduced to. Believe me, you don't want too keep this from him. And lose the 'too young for this' excuse. Where I am from, if you don't fight, you are dead. That goes for some that are only seven too. He is more than old enough."
Everyone turned to Dumbledore who was eyeing me carefully. Then he nodded. "I will think on it but for now we need to introduce the Order of Phoenix to you," he said.
They are making a horrible mistake, I mentally told Will. Someone is going to die before the years end, I can feel it.
Will looked at me with a worried look on his face while Dumbledore continued. "Mr Arthur and Mrs. Molly Weasley," he started, gesturing to the red headed woman and the man next to her. "Their son, Bill," he red head next to Mr. Weasley, "Sirius Black," the man that questioned my knowledge, "Severus Snape," the man with greasy black hair that has been silent, "You know Lupin, Tonks and Moody..." He went on naming those in the room, effectively avoiding the topic that needed to be discussed.
Once he was finished with that, Snape reported whatever about his time with the Dark Lord. Apparently he was a double agent. And again, Harry did not know even this. And the meeting went on and on and on... Will and I had started to bounce our legs and play with our fingers on the table. I took out Riptide in pen form and started to twirl it, a habit I picked up to pass the time.
When the meeting was finally over, most of the Order filed out while Will and I stayed behind.
"Someone is going to die," I repeated quietly.
"My lord, that can't happen," Will said. I had long ago given up trying to convince everyone to not call me that, it was pointless. They were going to call me that no matter what I said and no matter what I threatened them with. They were like Blackjack and his tendency to call me "boss".
"The fates have obviously decreed it," I said bitterly.
"You have denied them before, you can do it again," Will said with a smile playing at his lips.
We were silent for a bit, listening to a screaming picture from the front until Will said, "You're just going to call them in to help you aren't you?"
"Yep," I said as Sirius and Harry walked in. The fates were more direct family than I had thought so I got on really good terms with them.
"I still can't believe they fall for the baby seal eyes," Will pouted.
"Deal with it," I smirked.
"Who are you?" A red headed boy asked as he walked in with a girl with bushy brown hair. A Weasley probably.
"They call me Ariston but my name is Percy Jackson and this is my friend, Will Solace," I answered. "What may your name be?"
"I am Hermione Granger and this is Ron Weasley," the bushy haired girl said, holding her hand out for a shake.
"Curious," I muttered as I took it and gave it a firm shake.
"What?" Ron asked, his face screwing up in confusion.
"Tell me, how long ago were you introduced to this magical world?" I asked, eyeing Hermione carefully.
She stiffened as she answered, "Eleven, when I got my letter from Hogwarts."
"Ah," I smiled. "Then you are-what is the word they use, Will?"
"Muggle-born, my lord?" Will supplied.
"Yes!" I exclaimed. "That's it! So you are born of non-magical parents?"
Hermione seemed to relax when I asked Will for the word. "Yes, how did you know?" She asked. "And why did he call you 'lord'?"
I smiled even more. "You shook hands," I said, ignoring the second question after I gave Will a look. "Wizards and witches do not do that sort of thing."
Hermione blushed. "Oh," she muttered. "If I may ask, before Ron does, why are you here?"
This seemed to have grabbed the attention of Harry, who was still speaking with Sirius. I smiled, oh, the curiosity of the young.
"I have been asked here by Dumbledore for young Harry's protection," I told them, very aware that I was hardly giving them answers. "Will is my help and we will be here for the duration of the year."
"What do you mean, Harry's protection?" Sirius asked, his eyes narrowing. "You can hardly be older than Fred and George. What would you know about protection?"
Will and I shared a look. I sighed and brought out my 'baby seal eyes'. I did not want to explain this to them.
Will gave out a frustrated sigh and I smiled triumphantly. "Where we are from," he started. "If you don't learn to fight and protect what you believe in, then you are dead. There are a lot more monsters there and they are definitely not misunderstood creatures like some are here. The monsters there will hunt you down and kill you. Some even hunt you to eat you, in fact most of them do."
"And my life has been more full of that than the regular demi- I mean person," I said, grimacing internally at my slip. "Most of the monsters at home have a personal vendetta against me."
"Where are you from?" Ron asked.
"America," I said simply. "But more specifically, Manhattan, New York."
"What do you know about wars then?" Sirius asked, rather rudely if I say so myself. "You mentioned something about them in the meeting."
"Three," I said bluntly, allowing my mask to drop a little, showing the battle worn person behind it, making most in the room flinch and Mrs. Weasley to grow tears. "I have been in and led three wars in the last few years and I have been one of the main components in all of them." I told them all this monotoned and I could see the shock in all of their faces. "So you can see, that I am more than capable of dealing with another."
"What-" Mr. Weasley cleared his throat. "What about you Will?"
"The same," he said seriously. "Same wars, same fight. Except I was not the main component in any of them."
"Don't sell yourself short," I said, a smile growing on my face. "Without you, we would not have won."
Will rolled his eyes. "Always so modest, my lord," he teased. "You were the one that made the deciding factor in at least two of the wars if not all."
"Oh, shut up," I said, eyeing the expressions in the room. "They don't even know what you are talking about."
"What are you talking about?" Hermione asked. If I did not know any better, I would have said she was a daughter of Athena with all her curiosity.
"Percy here single handedly saved our whole world, three times," Will said, clapping his hand on my back. "Despite that during the second war he got a nosebleed that almost destroyed it."
"I am never going to live that down," I muttered, putting my head in my hands.
"What?" Harry asked, his shocked face was nearly the same as when he saw my wings appear.
This time I did laugh. "Harry, you did not think that Voldy-what's his face was the only evil being in the world or universe for that matter now did you?" I asked.
"Percy stop," Will said with a laugh. "If you tell them any more than that their minds will explode."
Before anyone could say anything else, Mrs. Weasley shouted from the kitchen, "Dinner is ready!"
With out a second's thought, Will and I leapt up from our seats and raced to the kitchen, beating the others by a mile. Ron came stumbling in after us, panting.
"Blimey, you guys are fast," he said as he sat down at the table.
I laughed as I piled food on my plate.
The conversation at the table turned away from Will and I, for which we were thankful. Near the end, everything had calmed down and everyone was complementing Mrs. Weasley on her cooking. The red haired girl, who's name I learned was Ginny was rolling corks across the floor for a cat to chase.
"Nearly time for bed I think," Mrs. Weasley said, yawning.
Will's eyes widened and he turned to me. "Where are we sleeping, my lord?" He asked.
Mrs. Weasley heard and she gasped. "Oh, I am so sorry dears, I will get you a room right away!" She said, getting up from her seat.
"No need," I assured her. "All you really need to do is tell us where we can pitch our tents and we will be fine."
Will sighed in relief. "Oh, good, the comforts of home," he said happily.
"You live in tents?" Mrs. Weasley asked, concern in her voice. "Why? What ever happened to houses? Your parents would let you live like that?"
Will and I both flinched. It has been a century since Will had seen his mortal parent and my supposed mortal mother (Chaos had yet to tell me who my real mothers was, it was a sore topic for him) and step-father had been killed in the cross fire of the Second Giant war. The topic was still a little sore for us.
"Our mothers are dead, ma'am," Will said. "They died a long time ago. Our fathers are very high up in the government of our world and they provide. The tents are actually much more comfortable than one might think."
"Oh," Mrs. Weasley gasped. "I am so sorry dears, I did not mean-"
"It is quite alright," I interrupted. "But if you would show us the way to where we can pitch our tents?"
"Oh, yes of course," she said. "You both can actually pitch your tents in the front room, provided that you both don't wake the portrait of Mrs Black then you will be fine."
"Thank you," I said, nodding my head deeply.
"Now, for the rest of you," she said as we started on our way out.
"Not just yet Molly," Sirius said, turning to Harry. "You know, I should have expected more questions on what is happening than this silence."
It seems someone decided to do something about Harry not knowing anything, I mentally told Will who snorted. We paused in the doorway to see what was going to happen.
"No," Mrs. Weasley said firmly. "You are too young, Harry dear, you do not need to know what goes on in those meetings."
I rolled my eyes, this was going to last a while. "Come on," I said as I left the room and made my way to the front.
