Chapter 12

Percy's POV
I couldn't get the thought of (Y/N) joining a enteral girls club.

'Would she actually join and leave me?'

I shook that possibility out of my head.

All throughout the day, I was distracted by how I'm going to find (Y/N).

I really wanted to ask Chiron but I knew he wasn't going to tell me everything I wanted to know. Then I realized that no one will be in the attic and I could ask a certain someone for answers.

~

I climbed into the attic finding it still dusty and crowded with old junk from previous quest. The only light came from the sunlight. It's light streamed into the stained glass window and onto a shriveled up figure that was sitting on a stool dressed up in a tie-dyed hippie dress. The Oracle.

I walked towards her, excepting her to do something but she just sat there...staring at me.

"Umm hi. How's it going?" I asked.

I mentally facepalmed. There's nothing much going on if your dead and sitting in a dusty old attic. I decided to get to the point why I'm here.

"I have to know something and I need answers." I said. "It's about (Y/N). How can I save her?"

I waited for an answer from the mummy but she stayed silent. I got angry when I realized I wasn't going to get an answer from her.

"Fine, don't help. I'll find a way to save her myself." I said as I walked away.

As I was about to close the trap door of the attic, I took another glance at the mummy and I could of swore it gave me a creepy smile.

What I didn't know is when I closed the trap door, the Oracle lifted up her head. Candles started to light themselves up as the Oracle's eyes started to glow.

~Timeskip to when Capture the Flag is over~

"Game over!" Chiron announced. "The Hunters win...for the 56th time in the row." He muttered that last part.

"Perseus Jackson!" Thalia yelled, stomping towards me.

Her electric blue showed so much anger that I could literally see sparks flickering from her armor. Her shield, Aegis, looked even more terrifying.

"What were you thinking for gods' sakes?!"

"I got the flag!" I yelled as I threw the silvery flag at her face.

Thalia ripped the flag from her face and kept on glaring at me.

"WE WERE AT THEIR BASE!" Thalia yelled, referring to her and Annabeth. "But the flag was already gone. If you didn't get involve we would have won!"

"And then you would get all the glory just because you're the daughter of Zeus!" I yelled back.

"Oh so now you're saying that it's my fault that we lost?"

"Hey you said it, not me."

Then Thalia pushed me and I felt an electric shock go through me sending me into the creek. Campers gasped while the Hunters tried not to laugh. Thalia's eyes widened at what she just did.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to-"

She got cut off by a wave that I created, leaving Thalia soaked from head to toe.

"Yeah, I didn't mean to, either." I growled as I glared at her.

Thalia was now glaring daggers at me.

"That's enough!" Chiron ordered.

Thalia pointed her spear at me.

"You and me, Seaweed Brain. Let's fight." She growled.

Ok let's get something straight here. Only one person can call me Seaweed Brain. And that's (Y/N). Only (Y/N).

"Get ready to lose, Pinecone Face!" I said as I raised Riptide at her.

Thalia yelled and a blast of lightning came down from the sky, hitting her spear and then slamming the electric spear into me.

"Thalia," Chiron yelled, "that is enough!"

I willed the whole creek to rise and made it into a icy funnel cloud. Just as I was about to hurl the water at Thalia, something in the woods caught my attention, making me lose my concentration and anger.

All the water fell back into the creek making Thalia look behind her to see what I was staring at, so did the other campers and Hunters.

"Impossible. She has never left the attic." Chiron said nervously.

The mummy that held the Oracle slowly walked towards us. All eyes were on the Oracle.

Then I heard her voice inside my head. I guess everyone else heard her too.

'I am the spirit of Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of Phoebus Apollo, slayer of the mighty Python. Approach, speaker, and ask.' The Oracle hissed.

Before I could do or say anything, Zoe stepped forward.

"What must I do to help my goddess?" She asked.

The Oracle opened her mouth, green mist came out from her mouth.

In the mist it showed Artemis still in her 12 year old girl form. She was in chains and was also kneeling. She looked even paler than usual. She kept staring at something, probably the enemy.

'Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,
One shall be lost in the land without rain,
The bane of Olympus shows the trail,
Campers and Hunters combined prevail,
The Titan's curse must one withstand, And one shall perish by a parent's hand.'

Everyone started looking at each other and started whispering. But the mummy turned to me. (A/N):Only Percy can hear this part)

'To the son of the sea god,
Because of your fatal flaw,
You will go save the daughter of the sun,
But first you must help her overcome what has been done,
Evil and good must be apart,
For her to be free from the dark.'

When the Oracle finished that last part, all the green mist went back to her mouth. Then she sat down on a rock as if she was going to sit there for a hundred years.

(A/N): DONE!!! And I have no school for one entire week. Thank god!! Hope you enjoy this chapter. Bye 👋🏼
