Chapter 4

Thunder boomed overhead, but the son of Chaos didn't seem to mind as he slowly walked toward the terrified son of Zeus.

"You are nothing. You are worthless. Your are an abomination. Now, you are dead." Percy said as he glared at Hercules.

"You think you can prey on the weak? That since daddy made you a god, that you can use your power to pick on others who do not have your strength? If you want to play with powers then let me show you my power. I am Perseus Jackson, son of Chaos and ruler of the Void."

Just as soon as Percy took the final step toward Hercules and picked him up off the ground, lightning from the sky burst through the clouds and struck Percy.

Smoke and debris covered the crater that the two immortals stood in. The crowd of people that had been watching had backed away as fast as they could, still able to see what was happening, but far enough away in case something like that happened again.

If only they realized that they should've backed up a bit farther.

A feral scream of anger erupted from the smoking crater as the dust and debris finally started to clear.

The crowd of minor gods, nymphs, and saytrs looked at the crater, hoping to be able to see what was left of the man who had attacked the god of strength.

To their shock, the man stood on top of a beaten Hercules. The son of Zeus laid in a pool of his own blood. Ichor poured from various wounds, but none were more prominent than his broken jaw.

The bone hung off to the side, but the horrifying part of it was the fact that it was twisted to where it looked almost upside down.

Many in the crowd began to vomit at the sight. Percy on the other hand grinned evilly at the broken figure of Hercules.

The grin was wiped off of Percy's face when more thunder rumbled across the sky. A frown was etched across his handsome features when another bolt of lightning came down.

Just as the lightning was about to strike him, Percy raised his hand toward it.

Instantly the bolt froze, making everyone around the son of Chaos gasp, but he wasn't focused on them. No, he was focused on the one who had tried to kill him, Zeus.

"I'm coming for you next Zeus! You better pray to every being you can think of that they may save you!" Percy shouted at the sky.

When no more thunder rumbled Percy turned his attention back to the minor god in front of him.

"If your father can't kill me then what chance do you think you'll have?"

If Hercules tried to give an answer, Percy couldn't tell.

All he heard was the sound of a pained grunt as the minor god of strength used the last bit of his power to flash away, most likely to Apollos palace.

As Percy turned to make his way to the throne room, he felt two slender arms wrap around his waist from behind.

The son of Chaos stiffened, unsure on what he should do. He wasn't exactly a people person, well, not since the incident.

Percy coughed a little, causing the person to quickly release him. He turned around to find the girl he had saved from Hercules.

He could tell that she was a minor goddess, she had a slight golden glow around her. Percy put up the best fake smile he could, hoping it was enough to get him by without having to go into a long conversation with the girl. He had a lot of things to get done, starting with Zeus and his complete stupidity.

"Thank you for saving me, he would have killed me if not for you."

"It was no problem, but I need to know why he attacked you."

She tried to think over how she should word it, but figured putting it bluntly was the best option. "I'm a bit of a cluts. I was walking out of a café just around the corner after I had gotten a coffee. When I turned the corner, I tripped over something, my coffee flew out of my hand and spilled all over Hercules. I tried to apologize, but I didn't get the chance before he shoved me to the ground. He pulled out his club and was about to crush me, but then you intervened." She said, a blush covered her face as she spoke to the handsome man in front of her.

Anger boiled inside of Percy, he hated it when people treated those weaker than them like dirt. "Well, you are safe now. He won't be coming to harm you or anyone else for a while, not while I am around."

A small smile appeared on her face. "Thank you, for everything."

The son of Chaos nodded before turning around and making his way toward the throne room, to Zeus.

Thunder rumbled lightly as Percy made his way across Olympus. Obviously Zeus was pissed, but so was Percy. That sky god had interfered enough. It was about time someone put him in his place.

Percy stopped just outside of the throne room, thinking of how to best enter. An idea began to form in his head. He would show Zeus just how stupid his decision to go against the son of Chaos was.

...

Zeus slammed his master bolt onto the floor, his anger clouding his judgment of what he was about to do. "I am going to kill that brat! How dare he attack a god, my own son at that? I have had enough of his meddling to last me many millennia. Today, he dies!" Zeus shouted to the assembled Olympians, including Hades who had come up from the underworld, just to see his brother get his ass kicked. Of course, Zeus didn't know that.

A vortex appeared in from of the Olympians, their eyes widened. The son of Chaos had decided to visit, again. Out of the vortex came two dozen warriors, dressed in a strange armor, armor only worn by one person, Percy Jackson.

As the warriors stood on opposite sides, a dozen on each side, a figure wearing the same armor walked out before the vortex snapped shut with a loud click.

Percy walked in between his soldiers until he was a foot ahead of them, his eyes looking at each and every Olympian. "It seems, that one of you has decided that they are powerful enough to destroy me. Tell me Zeus, who on this planet would be stupid enough to try?" Percy asked, his voice laced with hate.

The Lord of the the Skies face was as red as a tomato as he glared at Percy. "How dare you enter my throne room uninvited? This is an act of war!"

Percy's response was one that would be remembered for millennia to come. Instantly, all two dozen warriors drew their swords and stepped forward, shields appearing on their left hands. Each warrior was ready for battle.

"I can fight all of you at once while my men run rampant throughout Olympus, killing any and all loyal to you. Think wisely before I give the command, dear king."

Zeus eyes widened as he hadn't expected the son of Chaos to actually bring soldiers to kill the people of Olympus if he didn't agree to leave him alone.

Just as Zeus was about to order the Olympians to attack, Percy spoke up.

"Go ahead, order them to attack me. You will find that only a couple will comply with your order and that I will give my men the order to kill any on sight."

At his words, Zeus hesitated. Would he really be that cruel to attack a man that would undoubtedly follow through with his threat. He had already defeated some of the Olympians before, but now that he was back, Zeus was sure that the son of Chaos had somehow gained more power and it seemed that his skills with a blade had improved drastically.

The King of the gods sighed in defeat, "Fine, continue on why you came here to begin with, before you attacked my son."

Percy's face morphed into a sneer. "That pathetic child knows not what he does. If he had any bit of sense then he would have known not to attack the innocent when they are under my protection while I am alive."

Zeus rolled his eyes, his anger starting to get the best of him for the hundredth time that day.

"Whatever, just do what you came here to do."

A small, evil smile appeared on Percy's face, "Of course Zeus. Guess I am taking up your time away from that mortal woman in New Jersey."

The color quickly drained from his face as he realized what Percy had just done.

Zeus quickly looked at his wife out of the corner of his eye and what he saw terrified him. Instead of yelling, Hera was glaring at him, an almost cruel smile etched onto her face. This terrified the Lord of the Skies even more than if she was yelling at him. That smile made him shiver slightly in fear.

Percy cleared his throat to get everyone's attention again, his smirk never wavering. "Well, the main reason I am here is because my brother, Tartarus, had thousands of troops ready for war. Not only is this in our disadvantage, but my sister Gaea has joined him as well. This will undoubtedly be a war between Primordials."

The moral in the room had drastically dropped. How were they supposed to fight a war against Primordials, beings that had the power to destroy them without so much as a thought.

Percy looked at their faces, they had already given up. "Enough of this sulking, as long as I am breathing, I will fight for this planet because that is what I am here for! You assume that we will lose because we will be fighting against Primordials. I have already fought against Tartarus in his own domain. While I may have lost, his power will not be as great when he leaves the Pit. Up here, he will be nothing I can't handle."

Ares decided to speak up and for once in his immortal life, he made a very good argument. "How can you defeat them? You are only half Primordial while he is a full one."

"That will soon change," Percy mumbled underneath his breath, too quiet for any to hear.

"You have a better option, war god?" Poseidon said, his voice level rising, challenging the immortal son of Zeus to say other wise.

Percy grinned, Poseidon was always his favorite out of the Olympians. Ares gulped, Poseidon was definitely an enemy he didn't want to make.

"Thought so. Now, Percy, have any ideas on how we are going to be able to raise an army big enough to fend off the Primordial army?"

The son of Chaos grimaced, this was most likely going to be the end for many. "I have hundreds of soldiers ready for war. These men that I have brought with me are my personal guard. If you would like, I can bring some of my top commanders and their squadrons to train your demigods."

Zeus was about give his opinion, but Athena beat him to it. "I believe that is the wisest decision. I will be coordinating the defense of Olympus while Ares trains our immortal army."

Zeus looked as if he was about to blow a fuse. His face had reddened to the point where he would look like a giant tomato if not for the hair on his head.

"I am king, I will decide on what course of action we will be taking."

Percy had, had enough with this gods ignorance and temper. It's like he is trying to make them lose this war.

"I don't give a damn what you think. Because of you, we are so far behind on preparations for this war. If you so much as think about getting in my way again, I will throw your fucking ass in the Void for eternal punishment. Is that clear, Zeus?" Percy asked, daring him to try and do something stupid.

Oh, how Percy would enjoy kicking his ass and taking him down a few pegs.

Fear crept it's way into Zeus's cold heart. Could he really have the power to do that? Zeus thought over his options, which weren't very many. "Fine." Zeus said before he slumped in his throne, a defeated look on his face.

Percy grinned in victory, the biggest nuisance ever was now going to be a bit more helpful. Hopefully.

"Great now that, that is over, I believe we have to plan for the rest of the war. Any suggestions?"

When none spoke, Percy decided it was time he went back to the Void, training his troops for the biggest war they had ever seen.

"Well, I guess I'll be returning for my home. See you in a while." Percy said as he tried to leave, but he was stopped by the most unexpected person, especially after the conversation they had before he jumped into Tartarus.

"Wait!"

Everyone in the throne room stared at the person in surprise, mostly because they couldn't believe how stupid they were being by even talking to him, after they had ruined his life for the most part. Also, they pretty much caused Olympus to lose a powerful ally. They had lost hundreds more lives after he had left and the recovering process was long and slow, something they wish didn't happen.

Of course part of it was Zeus's fault, the main reason why Percy didn't like him.

"What can I help you with, Lady Artemis?"

Artemis flinched at the anger in his voice when he spoke to her. She took a minute to calm her nerves before she spoke. "I need to speak with you, meet me at my palace in an hour." Artemis said before flashing away before he could say no.

Confusion overtook Percy's features, but the anger could still be seen if you looked closely. He shook his head, he would deal with her later, but now he needed to send his men back to the Void so that they can train.

"Move out!" Percy said as he and his men entered the vortex before it snapped shut behind them.

"Your daughter is digging her own grave, I advise you try and re-direct her intentions before another one of your children gets hurt, brother." Hades said before he disappeared into a shadow that consumed him, taking back to the Underworld.

"He is right Zeus, we need him and his soldiers for this war and so far your daughter has managed to piss him off before he has even gotten to officially introduce himself to all of Olympus. She must tread carefully as she is walking on thin ice." Poseidon said before he too left the throne room.

Zeus sighed in frustration, things never did go right for him.

"Please don't fuck this up anymore Artemis." Zeus prayed before flashing out, probably off to apologize to his wife.
