Chapter 7
Ron's P.O.V.
While Nico is yelling at the teachers, I spot a dark blob on Percy and Jason's right forearm.
Harry is right; they are death eaters, even if the mark is on the other arm...
Nico's P.O.V.
I am worried for Percy. Ever since Ta-. No, I can't even think it. Percy has been having nightmares. We all have, but Percy's are the worst.
"Everyone, get out." I growl. Everyone but the demigods file out.
Annabeth is crying silently, tears streaming down her cheeks. We are trying everything to wake Percy up. Screaming, shaking, slapping, hitting, charmspeaking, even electrocuting. Nothing works.
Discouraged, everyone leaves. Everyone besides Annabeth and me.
"Seaweed Brain, come back to me," she pleads. "We aren't there anymore, p-please, Percy."
I decide to slap him again. Hey, it can be effective. This time he wakes up, shaking.
I leave, watching Percy act so helpless makes me feel like I have failed. It was my fault they fell into Tartarus. I could have helped them...
I could've made them get onto the ship before we began rescuing the Athena Parthenos. I remember the seriousness in Percy's face: "The other side, Nico! We'll see you there. Understand?"
I shake my head, trying to stop the thoughts. I see Annabeth calming Percy down.
I step outside, "I apologize for waking everyone up, you may go back to sleep."
I enter the demigods room, and glance at Percy, "You ok?" He smiles shakily.
"I am fine."
I can tell he really isn't, though I don't press him. Professor McGonagall enters the room.
"What was that?" McGonagall asks curious, but not unkindly.
"I sorta, along with Nico, and Annabeth, have PTSD, you now, from that place (McGonagall knows about us demigods, and our adventures.)... Styx, did I wake everyone up? Is there any spell that can prevent anyone from waking up?" Percy rambles.
"Yes, of course, but are you sure it is ok?"
Percy nods. "I just don't want to disturb anybody."
She leaves, and Percy gets up.
"Where are you going?" Annabeth asks.
"To the lake." Percy walks out, leaving me and Annabeth staring at him until he disappears from view.
Percy's P.O.V.
"Where are you going?" Annabeth asks me as I get up.
"To the lake," I respond and leave the room. I walk to the lake, while thinking about my nightmares. Drowning Akhlys, Annabeth's terror, the arai. It seemed as if I was back in Tartarus.
It was all my fault. I should've seen the spider web, and cut it...
I snap out of it, and realize I am at the lake.
