The Return of the Heroes: Piper/Percy POV
Piper POV
I was having the most miserable of days, before we saw the cruisers appear in the sky.
I sat at the top of Half-Blood Hill, just sighing sadly and longly, thinking of Jason and how my life was so cruel. It had been over a year now since he and Percy had vanished from the face of the Earth. I knew that they weren't dead - Hades had informed us that they weren't in the Underworld. That gave me hope, thinking that they were out there somewhere. But that hope was a bit dim, since no one even knew where they were.
And not even that, but camp has been steadily getting worse. Ever since the truth of what happened to Percy, the campers were miserable and very guilty about what they did to their friend. Anderson didn't care, as he ruled the camp with an iron fist. He has virtually turned the camp into a dictatorship, and not even Chiron could stop him from doing it. Who knew that one son of Nemesis could be so cruel and vile?
I pushed all thought to the back of my mind, and closed my eyes. Instantly, an image of Jason appeared in my head: his smile with the scar on his lip; his tanned blonde hair and his sky blue eyes that sometimes sparkled with live electricity. Gods, I missed him...
"Rough day, huh?"
I opened my eyes to see Leo leaning on Thalia's tree. He had definitely gotten taller and muscular over the last year, ever since he came back from rescuing Calypso. He was about the same height as Jason would be, and his muscles were taught from working in the forges everyday. The ring on his finger - which symbolises his marriage to Calypso - glittered in the sunlight. He looked less like the Latino elf like guy I knew, and looked more like a full grown adult.
I sighed. "You have no idea, Leo. Everyday I just miss him, and every time I do think about something else it just hurts so much."
Leo looked sympathetic. "You sound just like Annabeth. She kept on saying that all the time before she disappeared."
Gods...it had almost been a month since Annabeth vanished from Camp and the known world. Before she left, she said that she was going to look for Percy and Jason and bring them home, no matter what it took. I wanted to go with her, but she said that camp needed a member or two of the Seven to be here, as we all knew that Anderson must now take control of it.
A month has gone now, and still no sign of Annabeth. I hoped she was alright.
"I just hope that she finds Percy and Jason before Anderson completely ruins the camp," I said miserably. "We need them."
Leo was about to say something, before we heard a rumbling sound coming from the sky. I frowned, looking up and watching the sky. It was crystal clear, despite it being dotted with clouds here and there. Then, I noticed a thin white line coming straight across the sky, steadily hurtling towards us.
"What in the name of Hephaestus is that?" Leo exclaimed.
Just then, another white line stretched out from nowhere - a thin trail of smoke and vapour. And then another trail of smoke, and then another. Soon, there were over thirty white lines coming out of nowhere.
What's going on?

Percy POV
I looked at Earth with so many mixed emotions.
It looked just the same as it did the last time I left it. Green, yellow and white continents with the dark and light blue colours of the sea surrounding them. I just stood there in the observation deck, thinking of how close I was to home. I looked at the continent of America, wondering if my mom and Paul were even alive still. Plus, my thoughts drifted to Annabeth again.
Bastilla, Jason, Yoda, Mission and the rest of the crew of the Ebon Hawk stood at my side or behind me, looking at the planet with both emotionless and awed faces.
"A strange planet this is," Yoda summed up, leaning on his grimmer stick. "Massively strong in the Force it is. Feel it I can."
Bastilla closed her eyes, and breathing deeply through her nose. "I can feel it too. It's like...breathing in cold fresh air. It feels really clean."
"It's beautiful," Mission said, gawking at the planet.
Zaalbar grunted in obvious agreement.
I smiled. "Well, Earth does have it's perks. I just wish all the people would stop polluting it so much. But you know what - Earth has lived for over four and a half billion years. I think it will be around for much longer in the universe."
Yoda looked mildly surprised. "Four billion years you say? Interesting, that is. Not aware I was of a planet that lives that long. Explain the power of the Force here, that does. Feels old, the Force does here."
"It's not just the Force that you can sense," Jason said. "It's probably the presence of the Olympians as well."
Bastilla, Mission and Yoda frowned. "The Olympians? Who are they?" Mission asked curiously.
"Oh god, I forgot that you don't know much about the Olympians." I looked at HK. "HK, download and read out file number twenty five from your memory core banks please."
HK immediately stood to attention. "Downloading information. Downloading...downloading... Download complete. Reading file text: The Olympians, or better known as the Gods of Olympus, are the immortal deities of the Olympian world and the mortal world of Earth. Twelve beings of high power, with Zeus as the King and Devine Ruler of the gods, they bestow wisdom, power, beauty, war and courage to their chosen heroes and have had numerous affairs with mortals, siring many demigods over the aeons that followed."
Many of the Republic soldiers who were listening were awed at what they heard, but my friends and master were stunned by what HK had read out.
"Gods?" Bastilla shrieked. "Immortals? They exist here, on your home world?"
I nodded quickly. "I'll explain everything to you, but right now we need to get onto that planet and land. So, you might want to hang on to something because it's about to get bumpy."

They didn't need telling twice. Mission, Zaalbar, HK and R2 went off to the docking bay. Me, Jason, Bastilla and Yoda however stayed where we were. As soon as I gave the thumbs up to Rex, the Phantom started moving forward towards the planet ahead of us. However, without warning, the ship started going faster, the Earth's gravity pulling us in and soon we found ourselves trying to hold on to something as we plummeted downwards. The windows were engulfed by flames as we entered the planets atmosphere, and I knew straight away that things were about to get interesting.

Piper POV
I saw the white lines in the sky slow down rather rapidly. It was like seeing huge jagged spikes come out of nowhere, so it looked like massive thunderbolts coming out of nowhere. Before I thought anymore on the matter, the smoke cleared and I gawked at what I saw. I swear to this day that this was the most amazing thing I ever saw in my entire life.
(2 minutes and 16 seconds - the point where the ships become visible to the demigods)
They were giant, city-sized ships! They were coloured pale white in background colour, but I saw patches of red on all of them. At the back of each of them, there was like a tower in each of them. They had strange symbols on them, but I didn't think once on them as I saw to my astonishment of how massive they were. Soon, one of them had come flying our way. All the campers behind me were in awe and fear of what the ship was doing.
It steadily and majestically flew over us, completely covering Camp Half-Blood and casting very deep shadows over the valley. I heard the slight roar of the ships engines, and the ground rumbled slightly. The ship took a full minute to pass over us, as it was so freaking huge! When I thought that I couldn't be even more awed by what I saw, I was slightly surprised when the massive cruiser opened up from underneath and a small ship come out of it. It was chrome in some paces, but the main colour was mostly silver.
It zoomed down towards us, quicker than we all anticipated. The Apollo campers panicked that they kept dropping theirs arrows when they tried loading their bows. The Ares cabin had brought out swords and spears, getting into a phalanx of sorts and forming a perimeter around the remaining campers. Jake, Leo and I stood in front, too stunned to move. The ship landed ten metres in front of us, groaning as its landing gear touched the ground, the engine powering down drastically.
(4 minutes and twenty eight seconds - crew of the Ebon Hawk come out to introduce themselves)
Twenty seconds of silence went by, until what looked like the entrance of the ship opened, and a landing ramp came down. Smoke came up from the ramp door entrance, but it was only a little bit. Then, out of nowhere, eight figures came out of the ship, all wearing strange clothing - but what caught my immediate attention was that five of them weren't even human. Two of them were droids, one was a small green troll-like creature, another was a middle heightened girl with blue skin and two small like tails coming out of her head and three metre tall hairy creature that looked very much like a rug: a massive one at that.
The three humans came forward, but what unnerved me the most was the obvious leader. He wore dark clothing, a mixture of leather and cotton materials forming some kind of armour. At the front of his belt was a strip of red silk fabric that went to his feet, as well as what looked like a singular suit of black cotton. His hands were gloved and he had his hood up, but it was the mask that got my attention - a silver face with red marks and old battle scars on it. It had a single visor on it, so it made him look like a Cyclopes with a long eye.
I was put more on edge when he tilted his head, and said, in a metallic voice, "Piper, is that you?"
My legs collapsed beneath me and I was about to hit the floor, when one of the hooded figures from the masked persons side jumped forward and caught me. I looked up, about to say thank you, when I noticed his eyes. I looked deeply at them, and I couldn't help but notice that they were the same colour eyes that I fell in love with.
Electric, sky blue eyes...
"Jason," I breathed out.
He smiled. "Hey, Pipes."
He got me back on my feet, and walked back to the masked figures side, leaving me confused as to what was going on. Just then, he raised his voice over the entire crowd of campers that were whispering amongst themselves in nervous tones.
"Greetings, campers of Camp Half-Blood," he called out. "It is a distinct pleasure to be here again after so many years away."
"Who are you?" Jake Anderson demanded, raising his double bladed sword in a fierce way. "Either you tell me, or I will flay you alive!"
Jason, who sighed, turned to the masked man. "He hasn't changed one bit, Revan."
Revan nodded, sighing heavily also. "I agree, Jason Grace son of Jupiter."
The campers gawked at the name, looking at Jason with awe and shocked faces. But...that couldn't possibly be Jason - this guy looked over forty years old! It had been over a year now since we had any contact with Jason, let alone have a visit from him, so it couldn't be him. And yet here he was, standing right in front of us, with obviously alien species from another world.
Revan talked again. "My name is Revan, Jedi Guardian of the Jedi Order, and ruler of Mandalore. But before that, I was known by another name - a name I would imagine you'd never hear again."
He reached behind his head and unclipped the mask from his face. As soon as I saw who was underneath that mask, I gasped loudly, my hands flying to my mouth in shock.
Glossy black midnight hair...tanned face from staying in the sun for so long...chiselled face that showed off his muscular body...and sea green eyes that looked like they were filled with Greek fire. He looked older than I remembered - he had a beard forming; black stubble around his chin and upper lip. And he was much taller than I expected - maybe 6'5 feet?
"Hi guys," Percy Jackson son of Poseidon said, a small smile on his face - his voice even sounded different. "I'm home."
