The Olympian Council: Percy POV

I was slightly surprised by the camps reaction.

I looked at all of them, noticing that they looked more or less the same as I remembered them. I could Travis and Connor Stoll near the front of the group, with Katie Gardner beside Travis. Then I looked behind them, seeing Clarisse La Rue as well - she looked at me in disbelief, and she looked like she was expecting a fight as usual. Malcolm looked as if he was seeing a ghost, frowning and looking pale as hell. So many of my old friends in one place. I felt an ache in my heart, remembering all the friendships I had with these guys.

I was expecting a lot of curse words and accusations. I thought that if they saw me again, they would kill me on the spot and end my life. However, instead of all that, the entire camp cheered loudly, rushing forward and engulfing me and Jason in a group hug.

"You're back! Thank the gods you're back!"

"Where the hell have you been Prissy?!"

"Percy's home! He's home! Him and Jason are home!"

I looked at each camper individually, amazement and happiness replacing that of shock and nervousness. Clarisse was pounding my back and giving me a bear hug that I wouldn't expect her to do. Will Solace was shaking my hand constantly. The Stoll brothers were patting my back like crazy, as if making sure that I was real. Katie was hugging me like crazy, crying in joy at seeing me back. Leo - wait, Leo?! He was alive?! How the kriff-?

"Hey man!" Leo said enthusiastically, shaking my hand before pulling me in for a bear hug. "I can't believe you're really here! How are you doing?!"

"Alright I guess," I chuckled. "But how are you alive? I saw you and your metal dragon explode when you took out Gaia."

"Well, I had the Asclepius's resurrection potion with me, didn't I?" Leo said, wiggling his eyebrows. "After that, I decided to get Calypso off her island and lay low for a while. I came back when Hephaestus told it was safe to come home. But damn, I was a little convinced to stay away for a while longer."

"Well, its great to have you back pal," I told him sincerely.

"Jackson!" a new voice screamed in outrage.

Everyone grew silent, parting to both sides of me as they saw Anderson levelling his double-bladed sword at me. His brown hair was ruffled up like he had not taken a shower in days; his clothes were the same stylish brand he always wore and his eyes danced and flared with anger and horror.

"What in the name of Hades are you doing back here?" he snarled.

I shrugged. "I came home. Is that such a problem?"

"Yes, of course it's a problem!" Jake spat. "You are not welcome here anymore!"

Immediately, the campers exploded with fury.

"That is not true!" Clarisse yelled. "You accused him of something he never did! You did all those things to him!"

"You are nothing but a liar and a bully!" Will bellowed.

The rest of the campers yelled out the same things, but it was Piper that had the last word.

"Because of you, two of the greatest heroes left this camp and vanished into nowhere!" she screamed. "Now they are back, and there is no way we are losing them again."

Jake fumed. "I am leader of this camp, despite what you say. And what I say goes. And I say they are not welcome here anymore! But if you won't get out of my way, then you will die!"

He threw his sword at Piper, who yelped in terror. I immediately helped her out - I raised my hand and called out to the Force. Suddenly, the sword stopped just centimetres from Piper's face. Everyone looked at me in stunned silence.

I looked at Anderson, who stared at me in shock. "I will not permit you to harm one of my friends, son of Nemesis. You think only about yourself and not others; you lie and cheat to get what you want; you have brought the presence of the Dark Side to this camp and I, Perseus Revan Jackson, will not have it anymore."

Yoda came up beside me and announced, "Accept the taint of the Dark Side, we Jedi will not. Greed, fear, anger, the Dark Side they are. I sense much anger and greed in you, Jake Anderson. But also fear - fear of losing your position here at this camp, you are."

"What's it to you, you green troll?" the son of Nemesis snapped. "I should be hero at this camp, not Jackson and Grace! They got all the glory, and I was left as just a demigod who participated in those infernal wars! I got nothing for it and I was sick of it! It's my time now!"

I locked eyes with Yoda, who looked back at me. We had a silent conversation, until Yoda finally nodded his head in acceptance.

I unclipped my right sided lightsaber. "How about this - you say that it's your time to be the hero? If so, then I challenge you, one warrior to another." I tossed him his sword, which he caught in surprise. "If you win, we'll leave and never come back. But if I win, you have to swear on the River Styx to never return here to Camp Half-Blood ever again, or seek solace at Camp Jupiter."

"River Styx?" Mission quipped. "What's that?"

"It's a very sacred river in the Underworld, which is the realm of Hades," Jason explained. "It's where people go to the afterlife when they die. Gods and demigods make oaths on this river, which is very serious - no one can escape a powerful oath like one which is sworn on the Styx. Once you make the oath, your are duty bound to keep that oath."

Mission made the 'ohhhhhhh' face. "Okay, I was getting confused then. I thought he was spouting out more of the Mandalorian crap he picked up on Mandalore."

The whole team laughed loudly. Heck, even Yoda cracked a smile and chuckled a little. I, however, was a little annoyed. Ever since I became the new Mandalore ruler, I had picked up a few personality traits from the Mandalorian's which had somehow been accumulated into my training. Sure, I swore to keep the legacy of the Jedi alive and everything, but thanks to the Manadalorian's I had picked up a different characteristic version of myself. When in battle, I always lay out the terms of the fight, and I would make every opponent swear to keep their oath when the fight had been determined. That is how I know whether that person was a honourable warrior or not. I was happy to say that every opponent I fought was honourable and that they kept to the terms I laid out before each battle.

However, I was not happy to say that Anderson wasn't an honourable opponent. He would try to cheat in the duel, this I was sure of. Oh, little did he know that my training had enhanced quite drastically because of my time with the Jedi.

"Where's your weapon, you fool?" he mocked, twirling his sword in his hand. "Surely, you must know that you need a weapon in a fight as this?"

I smirked, my grip tightening on my lightsaber. I pressed the ignition button on the hilt, and the familiar blue beam of my lightsaber came flashing out with a hissing sound. Every camper gasped as they looked at the mesmerising sapphire light of the sacred Jedi weapon. Anderson paled as he heard the loud humming of the energy blade.

Without saying anything, I rushed forward and swung my lightsaber to one side, slicing through Anderson's sword like it was made of paper. He quickly drew out two hunting swords from his belt and tried slashing me with them, however I dodged every attack and lunge. I did an uppercut slash and smacked one sword out of his hands, then slashed downwards, slashing the other sword out of his other hand as well. I kicked him in the chest, sending him backwards onto his back. I pulled him to his feet using the Force, and violently pulled him forward, where I smashed my metal prosthetic fist into his face. He yelled in pain, as he flipped back and landed hard on his chest and face.

The campers cheered, giving me nods of appreciation and relief. Apparently, no one had stood up to Jake at all, like they were afraid to. I deactivated my lightsaber and placed it on my belt, heading straight back to Yoda and the others.

"Forgive me, Master Yoda," I sincerely apologised. "Sorry if I seemed a little harsh on that."

"Worry not about it," he said. "Showed him some humility, you did. What he needs, to be precise."

Piper and Leo walked up to me, stopping only to glance down at Anderson, who was groaning and struggling to get up. Piper looked at me, frowning slightly.

"Dude, where did you learn how to do that?" Leo exclaimed. "I've never seen that kind of fighting before!"

"And when did you learn how to use telekinesis?" Piper added. "That's a very rare ability, even amongst demigods."

Jason came forward, standing by my side with Bastilla standing guard on my right. "It's not telekinesis. It's called the Force - it's what gives us Jedi our power."

"It's an energy field created by all living things in the universe," Bastilla added. "Planets, stars, suns, people; everything creates the Force."

"It surrounds us, and penetrates us, and binds the universe together," I finished off. "We live for the Force entirely, staying on the Light Side of it."

Just then, the sound of a horse galloping was heard. I instantly smiled, knowing who was coming in our direction. I looked in front of me to see Chiron the centaur, looking worried but a excited look in his eyes told me how glad he was to see me.

"Percy," he breathed out.

I bowed my head slightly. "Chiron, my old friend."

He smiled, then noticing Yoda who was looking at the old camp teacher with interest. "And who might you be?"

"Yoda, Jedi Master of the Jedi Order on Coruscant," the old Jedi master introduced himself. He then smiled. "Of Perseus Jackson, mentor I am."

Chiron looked at me, one eyebrow raised.

I shrugged and nodded at the same time. "Yoda took me and Jason in, after we fled camp. We were brought to Coruscant, where he told us that we would be trained as Jedi. We learnt how to use the Force, and we learnt how to be warriors of the peace."

Chiron nodded in understanding. He turned to Yoda, who smiled kindly. "Thank you for looking after my students, Master Yoda."

Yoda nodded.

Chiron then turned to me and Jason. "You're both wanted on Olympus."

I raised one eyebrow. "I've been home for ten minutes, and already they ask for me and Jason? Jeez, what are they worried about?"

Chiron pointed upwards with his index finger. I looked up, noticing the Republic cruisers that were hovering above the camp still.

"Whoops," Jason muttered. "I forgot they were there."

Bastilla slapped his shoulder playfully. "There's over thirty city-sized cruisers above us, and you forgot about them? Force me, you can be so dull at times!"

Piper coughed loudly, which got my attention. She looked like she was ready to kick Bastilla's butt with all the attention she was giving Jason.

She looked at Piper. "Don't worry, I'm not stealing your man. But honestly, tell me something - did you know he could be so dull at times?"

"Alright Bastilla, I get it," Jason laughed, his cheeks red with embarrassment.

Bastilla walked up to Piper, offering her hand in a friendly manner. "Bastilla Shan, Knight of the Jedi Order."

Piper shook her hand as well. "Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite, hero of Olympus."

Mission frowned. "Aphrodite?" she asked.

"Analysing data files," HK announced, getting the camps attention. "Retrieving back-up data. Download complete. Statement: Aphrodite, daughter of Ouranus. Goddess of beauty, love and sexual desire. Sacred animal: the swan. Often seen with Ares, or flirting with other men to-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, HK you can stop now," I said quickly. Damn it, whenever he heard me say something about Olympus, he immediately downloads the data files from his memory core. "You really don't have to say it out loud to the campers."

HK's head looked down at me. "Apology: Forgive me master. I thought you had asked me to speak about any topic relating to Olympus."

I smiled. "That's alright, HK. Maybe another time."

Clarisse looked at HK with interest, taking note of his ion rifle on his back. "What does HK stand for?"

"Hunter Killer," I said.

Clarisse looked at, impressed. "You got an assassin droid? Damn Jackson."

Chiron coughed again. "I'm sorry Percy, but we really need to get to Olympus."

I nodded, feeling a little nervous but also excited. I placed my helmet back on my face, walking forwards. "Alright, take us there."
==========

I found myself unable to crack the smile off my face, as I stepped out of the elevator heading up to Olympus.

It looked exactly as I remembered it: white and silver buildings, settling on the tip of a mountain peak. Along the base of the mountain, braziers were lit to light up the city. And along the streets of Olympus, merchants were rambling in their trader speech, trying to sell their goods to obvious buyers. Flying above the city, Pegasus horses roamed the skies with other winged horses.

Bastilla looked at the city with a look of amazement on her face. "So this is Olympus? Pretty impressive, I must admit. And to think that this is the home of the gods as well..."

I smiled, as well as Jason. "Well, how do you feel about meeting them in the flesh? Because there's twelve of them in total."

Bastilla paled slightly, before nodding. "Ready as I'll ever be."

Yoda nodded, without saying a word.

I looked behind me to see the rest of the Prodigal Knights, along with Piper and Leo. When they saw me look at them, they smiled encouragingly.

I walked forward, setting off through the streets of Olympus. Along the way, I saw many Olympian citizens stop what they were doing and state directly at me. They pointed at me and whispered amongst themselves. Deciding not to acknowledge them, I set off towards the direction of the main temple, which sat at the very top of the city. Even though I've seen it before in my earlier years, I couldn't but feel that the Jedi Temple was more grander than the Olympian temple.

When I looked at the temple, I felt a slight presence emerge in my head. It was an all too familiar presence...one that I have not felt in a long time.

Wanting to get to the temple quickly, I picked up my pace. The others followed suit, and soon we were walking through the hallways of the temple, looking up at the white marbled pillars that supported the roof above us. Past that was the Throne Room, where I knew the gods were waiting for us.

"Glad you could come, unknown beings," Zeus announced loudly.

He sat in that platinum throne of his, wearing the same suit that I always saw him in. His beard was neatly shaven, but his eyes looked very stormy like thunder was about to erupt from out of nowhere. At his side was his sheathed Master Bolt, where he kept one hand on it constantly.

I looked around the Throne Room, where every throne encircled the hearth, where Hestia was tending to the coals and flames, wearing her brown cloak as usual.

I stared into the eyes of Athena, Hera, Demeter, Artemis and Aphrodite, the five goddesses that formed part of the Twelve. Then I glanced into the direction of the male gods - Ares, Hephaestus, Dionysus (gods, does he ever stay awake for any of these council meetings?!), Apollo, Hermes and...Poseidon.

He looked so different from the last time I saw him: his beard was gone so his face was bare; his eyes were dull, no longer showing that same rebellious sparkle I constantly saw in him; his jet black hair had streaks of grey in them, making him look somewhere in his late fifties and his entire frame was slumped over, as if he was in pain. He was even wearing different clothing - instead of his Hawaiian clothes, he wore jeans; trainers and a black jumper.

Me and Jason came forward and knelt before Zeus. "Lord Zeus," we both greeted. "It's an honour to meet you again after so many years away."

Zeus frowned. "Again? What - have we met before?"

I nodded, getting up to my feet. "Yeah, we have. My name is Revan, Knight of the Jedi Order. However..."

I reached up behind my head and removed my mask off, revealing my face to the gods. "...you know me as Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon."

The gods gasped, and their eyes widened comically. Zeus inhaled sharply, while my father looked at me hopefully.

"I may look older than you remembered, but I can assure you that I am Percy Jackson," I promised.

"Yeah? Prove it," Ares sneered, thinking that I wouldn't be able to.

I looked at him. "Here's your proof: you're an asshole."

All the gods laughed out loud, while Ares blushed and looked at me with fury in his eyes.

"Oh, it's him alright," he growled. "No one else would have the guts to say that to me."

Poseidon got off his throne, shrinking down to human size and walked over to me and stared at me.

"It's really you?" he asked. He looked so frail, but his eyes shined.

I smiled. "Hi dad."

He cried out with joy and hugged me tightly. I smiled and closed my eyes, his scent of the ocean filling my nose.

Jason removed his hood and looked at Zeus, who immediately flew off his throne and rushed forwards to embrace his son.

Poseidon pulled back from our hug and chuckled, "You've gotten older my son."

I laughed. "Yeah, twenty years does a lot to you in that time."

Athena frowned, standing up from her throne and crossing over to me. "Twenty years? Perseus, it's been over a year since you left, not twenty. Where have you been all this time?"

It was now my turn for my eyes to widen. "What?! Only a year?! What the-?" I stopped my outburst, calming myself down. "No, stop with the yelling, Percy. There is no emotion, there is peace."

Yoda came up to me. "Correct, you are. Doing well you are in controlling your outbursts."

I looked at him. "Well, care to explain to me why it's been only a year here on Earth since I left, when I was sure that twenty years have gone past?"

Yoda thought for a moment. "The Hosnian System, a long way away it is. Move faster, time must do where it is. Gravity and planet alignment must work two hundred times quicker in our galaxy."

Athena looked at Yoda with quick interest. "You're smarter than you look."

Yoda gave that weird chuckle of his. "Eight hundred and eighty six years old I am. Smart enough I am to know much about the universe, and of the Force."

"Believe it or not Athena, but you're speaking to the Grand Master of the Jedi Order," I said to her.

Zeus looked at Yoda, a wary look in his posture. "So, you're the leader of this...so called Order?"

Yoda nodded.

"Then may I ask, in the name of the Council, what you are doing here with thirty of what we consider potential war ships?"

Yoda looked at me to answer. I nodded in understanding and walked into the centre of the Throne Room, looking at each god individually.

"We're here because we're on the run from our sworn enemy, known as the Sith," I announced. "Recently, one of our own turned against us and waged an all out attack on the Jedi Council on Coruscant. He has proclaimed himself as Dark Lord of the Sith and is now, by our understanding, looking for us. We're here simply to hide, until we are strong enough to face him."

Ares looked at me with curious. "You make it sound like the beginning of a war. Is this true?"

I looked at the God of War. "Yeah. It's a war."

Zeus banged his fist down on his throne seat. "Then that means you've brought the war to us! Did you not consider that?"

"Father, Malak doesn't know anything about this planet," Jason explained. "Earth is part of what we call the 'Unknown Regions' - it's an uncharted part of the universe that's been unexplored by the Sith. It's only known to the Jedi, because they found us here. Malak wouldn't dare go near the Unknown Regions unless he was given a clear reason to. We have numerous reports stating that all those who have journeyed into these kinds of space have not returned - only the Jedi are lucky. Malak won't find us here, I assure you."

"We'll be here for a short while until we're ready to leave," I said to all the gods.

"Hold up," Bastilla said, coming up to face the Council. "Revan, didn't you say that Malak might be looking for something? What did you call it before...something that Vitiate said to try and entice you and Malak?"

I frowned, until a look of shock appeared on my face. "Oh kriff, I forgot about that."

"What is it, my son?" Poseidon asked in worry.

I looked up at my father. "Vitiate was the ruler of the Sith before Malak. He tried turning us to the Dark Side of the Force. I managed to withstand it with no problem, but it got Malak interested. He asked if we wanted to find something called...what was it?" I racked my brains, trying to remember until it clicked. "He called the Star Forge."

Zeus frowned. "The Star Forge? I've never heard of that before. Athena, have you heard of it?"

Athena shook her head. "Never in my life have I heard of something like that. This is all new to me."

"So, its not just a war you're occupied in," Hera stated, smiling slightly at me. "You're on a quest as well."

Piper looked at me. "To try and find this...thing that Malak is after?"

I shrugged. "I would prefer not to go on a quest. It would be too dangerous to go and find it, with Malak being out there hunting us. And by the sounds of it, it would mean going back to the systems that Malak would know. We would be risking a lot."

"But dude, you could be saving the entire universe," Leo told me. "Maybe this Star Forge is a weapon this Malak guy could use against the universe."

"It could be," Jason agreed. "We could try and find it, before Malak does. And we could figure out a way to destroy it, but at the same time it's...I'm not going to lie to any of you, but it's literally dangerous."

Bastilla didn't say anything, but her said the same thing.

I mulled over what was going on. I knew there was a lot riding on this - if we went out back into the known regions of space, we would make our presence known to Malak who would resume hunting for us. But at the same time, we could be looking for the Star Forge and find a way to destroy it.

"You could ask an audience with the Oracle," Apollo said, getting a lot of glares from the other gods. "What? It's obvious he needs guidance with this. How is he going to find this thing when he doesn't know where to begin first?"

I sighed. "You've got a point. I'll speak to Rachel about this and see what she thinks." I looked at Apollo with a frown. "Or are you still having problems with Python?"

Apollo grimaced. "He's guarding Rachel's home in New York. He won't even let her out. No one pays attention to him because of the Mist - the mortals just think he's a vanguard of bodyguards standing outside her house."

"The Mist?" Bastilla said, bewildered.

"It's a magical veil that separates the real world and the mythical world," I answered. "It distorts what the mortals see, and what they believe is real and what's not real. That's what most monsters and gods do to keep themselves hidden."

I looked back at Apollo. "We'll get rid of Python, and save Rachel. Just promise me you won't make another damn poem out of this, because believe it or not, I can't stand anymore shit poetry from you."

Some of the gods had to hold their breath, so they wouldn't laugh. Even Zeus looked close to laughing. Apollo looked embarrassed.

"Okay," he sighed.

I nodded, looking at Jason, Bastilla, Piper and Leo. "Lets beat a snake."
