Unknown POV

I felt a prickling on my skin. What was that? Horus? Do you have- oh. I mentally slapped myself as I was consumed with sadness. The gods had been sealed away when we had defeated Apophis and Horus and Isis no longer needed to be hosted by Sadie and me. Pushing my thoughts away, I ran to the training rooms where most of our initiates and Sadie were practicing.

I came upon almost everyone sprawled out on the floor. "Sadie? Everyone? Are you guys ok?" Sadie turned her head to look at me and rolled her eyes. "Yes Mother. We're fine. Right, guys?" A chorus of reluctant agreement flowed through the air and I shook my head. "Ok." I pulled Sadie off the ground and over into a corner. "Do you know what that was?" She looked at me with concern. "Maybe it was Zia or Walt?" I shook my head. "No, it couldn't be. Neither are in the library. I was just in the living room." Sadie sighed. "If you're thinking what I'm thinking, it might be time to take a road trip." I sighed, a small smile playing on my lips. "Yeah. Whatever that was, I hope it is friendly. Do you think you could track it?" I may be the better magician, but Sadie was good at tracking magic.

"Yeah. I can start right now. I'll be in the library. Should we leave Walt and Asia in charge?" I nodded gravely. "They would be the only ones capable of keeping the initiates in line while under attack. Let's hope that this energy is from one being and not several." Sauce sighed and nodded, her shoulder slumping slightly with the weight of the threat looming over our heads.

~Time Skip To After Carter Explains The Situation To Walt And Zia~

I went into the library to see Sadie leaning over an old tome and an ancient map with sand, candles, runes, and a bowl sitting next to them on one of the desks. Knowing she was casting a spell and needed her concentration, I just stood silently across from her, just watching. After a certain part in the spell, a light appeared on the map. It started out as little sparkles floating over the whole map, and then it slowly got smaller and smaller. Soon, the sparks encircled a state in America, New York is what the map said.

I sighed as Sadie finished up the spell. "Looks like we're going to America." Sadie smirked, but I could see the pain in her eyes. "Life is never easy when it comes to the Kane family."
