Percy was utterly willing to risk his life if it meant his siblings would be safe. With that being said, he didn't think that other demigods would be at the winter dance, let alone the demigod he met primer to his current mission. But the back up was much appreciated.

"So I take it you know them?" Percy whispered to Luke, who nodded. "Lovely."

Percy vaguely recognized three of the four as the ones he messed with a couple of years ago.

The fourth was a girl with spikey black hair and electric blue eyes. That was all Percy needed to see to know she was Zeus's daughter.

They took out weapons and seemed to be discussing a plan of attack. Or at least they were until Poseidon's son rushed in with a sword.

"Percy, what is going on?" His sister asked.

"I promise I will explain everything soon, but for right now, I need you and Nico to find someplace safe." He told her. She nodded as she grabbed Nico and ran to get somewhere safe.

"Maybe you should join them," Luke spoke.

"And miss out on all the fun? No way!" Percy smirked as he pressed a button on his watch. Luke stared at him, confused. "Wait for it."

Just as Luke was about to say something, a spear shot out of the ground and into Percy's hand.

Percy chuckled. "Now, let's show this dude he messed with the wrong demigods."

And with that, they charged into battle.

Percy knew the son of Poseidon was a good distraction, and so he wasn't going to waste it.

As the sea child tried to attack it from the front, Percy ran at it from behind. He used the manticore's tail as a boost. As gravity pulled him back to the ground, he moved his spear so that the tip was pointed down. With all his might, he stabbed the beast.

The manticore yelled as he knocked Percy off, his spear still in its back.

"Let the battle begin!"
