Chapter 11: The Offer
It had been a long night for both of the Di Angelo siblings. Their vice principal had turned into a monster, suddenly a lot of Percy's jokes made sense to Bianca; Percy seemed to knew all of this the whole time and had never told them about this, then these four people showed up, only one of which she knew, fought with the monster, girls dressed in silver with bows in hand fired at the beast, the blonde girl had gone over the cliff with the creature, and now here they were trying to process what happened.
Bianca stood there, a tight grip on Nico, as Percy and the boy from the hall argued.
"-Up to you!" the boy started. "Annabeth could still be alive!"
Percy glared through the broken mask. "Even if she was, going over the cliff will get you killed, even if your Poseidon's son."
"You don't know that!" he yelled at Percy.
"There are jagged rocks that go on for miles. The likelihood of you landing in water is low, but if you refuse to listen, then fine. Jump over that cliff and prove me wrong; just look before you leap." Percy told him coldly before walking over to the siblings. "Are you two, ok?"
"Were fine, Percy, but what was that?" she asked. Before Percy could answer, a 13-year-old girl with auburn hair and silver eyes walked up to them. Upon seeing her, Percy quickly bowed, shocking Bianca.
"Lady Artemis, it is an honor to be in your presence," he said as calmly as he could.
"Rise boy," she said with venom in her voice. "Who are you?"
The other people walked over, the two boys and a girl, as well and bowed to the 13-year-old, confusing Bianca more before Percy could answer.
"My name is Percy Jackson, my lady."
"Take off that mask and tell me your godly parent." Percy nodded and took his mask off.
"My parent is Chaos milady." as he spoke, an eye that was black with specks of white appeared above his head; there seemed to be a universe behind the eye.
It was now this Artemis person's turn to bow, although Percy quickly told her to stop.
"What is going on?!" Bianca snapped
"I will explain, come to my tent, you too, son of Poseidon," Artemis spoke.
🌌🌌🌌
Bianca felt like everything she knew had been a lie. Were there gods? Was there really a goddess sitting across from her? And Percy knew about this the entire time? What else did he not say?
She felt a little betrayed at that thought.
"Bianca," Artemis started. Bianca looked at her. "I have an offer. Join us in the hunt, where family will surround you."
It was a bit tempting. That was something that she wouldn't lie about.
"Thee would be given partial immortality, only dying in battle." the lieutenant, Zoe, told her.
"This sounds too good to be true. What is the catch?" the boy asked.
"Well, Malcolm Waters, she must swear off boys," Artemis told him. So his name was Malcolm. Good to know.
"What about my little brother?" she asked.
"He will be sent to the camp. You'll be able to see him when we visit."
Bianca sat there. Her brother was a handful, one she has had to take care of for as long as she could remember. And there was the whole being immortal as well.
"You can't seriously be thinking about this!? Everyone you know will die, and you are going to prance around the woods forever 14, not able to drive, you don't even have any command!" Malcolm all but yelled.
Everyone you know will die.
"Hold thy tongue, boy!"
Everyone you know will die.
"No! I won't! She should know what she is losing!"
That the only family she had and best friend will die.
"Both of you sit down! It's her choice."
All of the good memories she had of Nico and Percy skilled her head. The time Percy was sick, her brother trying to teach them his silly card game, when Percy pranked Thorn as payback for Nico, the movie nights before and after they met Percy. Many more followed those. Sure some were bad but for every bad one was four good ones.
"C-can I get back to you on this matter?" she stuttered.
"Of course."

So tired. My theatre teacher is making us make resumes, which is useful, but it's hard to make one for a techie. Now I'm just waiting for him to respond to an email so I can make my portfolio.
Anyway, I wanted to say this because this comes up a lot in comments, especially for Son of Hades. I have a schedule for a reason! So please stop asking me to update, especially when it's only been two days. I'm balancing like six to seven books all at once, and there is only so much I can do. My books are updated ONCE a week. Most have their own day for updates. Please keep this in mind, people.
Now because last week was all over the place, I've decided to extend your time to choose the guidebook chapter.
these are your choices for this weeks guidebook chapter:
1. James Cantu
2. Doctor who references
3. Chaos's and Order's powers
4. Only a little
As always, choose wisely.
