Annabeth POV

Annabeth sat at the lake. Her mind running trying to keep up with her own thoughts. 

Luke. The boy who raised her. The boy she loved.  The boy who taught her so many things like how to use her knife. The boy who helped her grieve Thalia's sacrifice. The boy who'd do anything for her. The boy she'd do anything for. The boy who betray Olympus. 

Then there was Percy. The boy who took her on her first quest. The boy who helped her get over her issues with her Dad. The boy who would give his own life if it meant someone else he cared about living. The boy who reminded her of Thalia. The boy she'd help even if it risked her life. The boy who'd do the same for her.

Finally there is Thalia. The girl who helped her in the alley. The girl who gave her life her. The girl who went across the country with two people she disliked to save her. The girl she'd do anything for. The who's do the same.

All three were offering her three different choices at life. A hunter, an immortal life devoted to the goddess Artemis. A camper, a life of hardships, battles and responsibility. But also a life of fun, freedom and slightly normal friends Or a traitor, a life free of responsibility, but devoted to Kronos and wanting the end to the Olympians. 

Now she was stuck. Three people she cared about, but all going different ways. Some ways where she'll have to fight them. For once she didn't know the answer. But then again no one could know this answer if they were in her spot. Thalia saw that the hunt would be the best life for her. Percy saw staying at camp and living with her Dad would be the best life for her. Luke saw that living a life free of Gods would be the best life for her. But she didn't know what to do. Softly she started humming a song she had heard while she was living with her Dad.

Annabeth glanced over at the Poseidon cabin. She could see Percy talking to Grover on the porch. He'd leaving soon. The winter break had finished a week ago, meaning he has already missed a week of school.

She glanced over at the Artemis cabin. She could see the hunters getting ready to leave. Thalia and Artemis talking to Chiron outside, while the rest of the hunters were inside packing. Another person leaving to start a new life.

Annabeth look to the horizon. She's not sure where Luke is. She just knew he isn't dead. Thalia may have pushed him off a cleft but she knew this is not over. It never is over.

"Annabeth!" She look to see Percy and Thalia. 

"We came say goodbye." Percy explained.

"Are you alright?" Thalia asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a lot on my mind." Annabeth explained.

"Okay. My mom can drop you off at the bus station if you want." Percy offered.

"No, its alright. My dad booked me a seat on the first bus out tomorrow." She told him.

"Okay. See you in the summer." Percy smiled. Giving her a small hug before running towards the border.

"He's alright." Thalia stated next to Annabeth. Her short black hair had been pushed back. Her lieutenant's circlet sitting on her forehead.

"Alright? Just alright?" Annabeth laughed. "He is the son of Poseidon version of you. You two are so similar I first thought he was a son of Zeus."

"You're right. He's my cousin, I'm allowed to think he is alright," Thalia rolled her eyes. "Besides, he is a lot more caring than I am."

"I'm not so sure about that. He may seem more caring because he pretty much cares about everyone he meets, while you are more caring when it come to a select few. For example, Grover and I. Maybe even Percy." Thalia laughed but didn't deny anything.

"I'll talk to you soon okay. I'll try to IM you when you get home." Thalia stated as she turned to hug Annabeth.

"One day, I'm going to older than you."

Thalia laughed, "You can try." With that said she turned around and ran off toward the hunters.
