Chapter 4: Justice Or Revenge?

Nico's POV

Angry doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now. I know Percy told me to let her stab him but I think he lost what was left of his brain. What sane person lets anyone stab him?

What drove me into an even deeper rage was when that bitch Annabeth stabbed him again! Everyone in the crowd saw Annabeth's attempted murder. Everyone was in shock at first. But when Annabeth stabbed him a second time, everyone snapped out of their shock and tackled Annabeth.

I ran up to Percy and pulled him out of the mob. 'Jared!' I yelled, tears streaming down my face. I almost said Percy.

I picked Percy up and ran to the Camp Hospital aka the Apollo Cabin. I broke the door down and yelled for someone to help Percy.

'What happened?' One of the Apollo kids who I recognized as Bryan asked.

'Annabeth stabbed him from behind. She tried to murder him!' I said with tears still pouring out.

Bryan's eyes widened in absolute shock. 'Ok set him down over there. I'm going to get some Ambrosia and Nectar' He said taking off to a shelve on the other side of the cabin.

I quickly ran to the bed and set Percy down. Bryan came over just then and fed Percy the Ambrosia and Nectar. Instantly Percy's wounds started to close up and heal. Faster than normal thanks to him being a god and all.

I let out a sigh of relief. 'Some camp this is. That kid we met lied to me and my brother! He said it was safe in this camp for us!' I lied faking my anger.

Bryan looked at me with a sad look. 'It is safe. I can't believe Annabeth tried to kill your brother! First she cheats on Percy Jackson and now she tries to kill your brother? I'm getting Chiron and if he doesn't do anything I'm going to have a nice chat with the Olympians. This is an outrage!' Bryan says angrily.

'That bitch better die or be imprisoned for like all eternity or something!' I said looking at Percy's unconscious body.

'Don't worry. She's not getting away with this' Bryan says as he walks out of the cabin.

Percy's POV.

I woke up with the biggest headache I've ever had in my life. It feels like someone keeps whacking me over the head with a giant hammer. Don't even get me started on how my back feels! I can still feel the pain from where I got stabbed.

I let out a groan and open my eyes to see Nico at my side and a ton of flowers on a drawer.

'Aww you shouldn't have Mason. Thanks for the flowers!' I said grinning knowing Nico wouldn't bring me flowers.

Nico glares at me. 'Do you really think I'd bring you flowers dude?' He asks with an eyebrow raised.

I laugh softly. 'I guess not' I replied.

Nico shakes his head smirking. 'Those flowers are from your fan girls. They went insane when Annabeth stabbed you. They literally beat the shit out of her!' Nico practically screams with a smile on his face.

I laugh. 'Good she deserves it. This shit hurts!' I said getting up.

'At least I got a reason to not wear a camp HalfBlood t-shirt' I said grinning.

Nico rolls his eyes. 'Whatever. Come on man. Hermes is over in the Big House waiting for you' Nico said.

I raise my eyebrow. 'Why is he waiting for me?' I ask.

'Dude Annabeth tried to murder you! They are deciding what they are going to do to her in Olympus. Oh and I spoke to my dad, he said he is going to claim you in Olympus that way he can vote on what to do with Annabeth too' Nico said walking beside me out of the Apollo cabin.

'Oh damn, I knew people were going to get mad, but I didn't expect Zeus and the council to get involved' I said as we made our way to the Big House.

Nico shrugs. 'Does it matter?'

I shake my head. 'No, this is way better than I expected actually' I said laughing.

I walked inside the Big House to find Chiron and Hermes talking in a corner and a few campers chilling in the sofa. As soon as I walked in everyone turned their heads to me.

'Hey guys' I said waving.

They let out a gasp as they look up above me. I look up too and find Hades' symbol above my head and on top of Nico's head, claiming us as his sons.

'Dude I thought he was going to claim me in Olympus' I told Nico telepathically.

'That's what he told me. I suppose it doesn't matter now' He replied.

I shrug. 'Well I guess we know who our father is now!' I said excitedly out loud.

Nico nods his head vigorously. 'About time!' He says.

'Jared! Thank the gods you're alright. When I heard of what Annabeth did, I could hardly believe it. I went straight to Olympus and informed them of what happened' Chiron said galloping over to me and Nico.

'Thank you. When the guy I met on the streets said this place was safe for demigods, I expected to chill and meet new people not get stabbed in the back, literally!' I replied looking up at Chiron.

'Yeah, for real. That Annabeth girl better die or get imprisoned for all eternity or something!' Nico said going along with my story.

Man, I've become a pretty good liar! I remember when I would get caught immediately when I tried to lie.

'Oh don't worry, she will get what's coming to her' Hermes said coming up to us.

'Come on, I'm here to take you both to Olympus, there's a meeting going on right now' Hermes said placing a hand on our shoulders and flashing us to the throne room.

We flashed in to see the gods arguing with each other. Big surprise there!

In the middle of the throne room, I saw Annabeth in Imperial Gold chains. She looked battered, with rips all over her clothes. Many bruises decorated her face.

I almost felt bad for her. Key word there being ALMOST.

Athena looked like she was about to cry. Don't know why, she should have known her daughter was a bitch since she's supposed to be smart and all. Hades was there as well.

Hestia seemed to have noticed us first because she came over to me and hugged me. Not a bear hug mind you, I probably wouldn't have survived a bear hug, but a gentle hug. Her skin was super warm, not scorching hot like Apollo though.

After she stepped back she gave me a warm smile and walked back to the hearth. Everyone quieted down when they finally noticed Nico and I standing there.

'I'm hello, lords and ladies' I said bowing to them. I hate bowing to a bunch of assholes but hey, they must somewhat care about me since they are all here because of me.

'Jared Price, good to see you are alright' Zeus said looking slightly relieved. I'm guessing Hades was threatening him or something.

'Thank you lord Zeus. It hurts a bit still but I'm glad to still be breathing!' I said smiling.

Everyone chuckled a bit at that. I turned to Aphrodite who was staring at me. More specifically my muscles and pecks since I got a wrap around my abs.

'I apologize for not wearing a shirt. I couldn't find mine when I woke up' I said smiling sheepishly.

Hermes snapped his fingers and I was wearing a shirt.

'Thank you Hermes, it would have been quite painful putting on a shirt thanks to the stab wounds' I said turning to Hermes.

Hermes nodded as Zeus continued.

'We are here to pass judgement upon Annabeth Chase for attempted murder upon a fellow demigod' Zeus started.

Immediately everyone glared at Annabeth who cowered before their gazes.

'My daughter is innocent! She would never harm a demigod on purpose!' Athena yelled sounding like a criminal as they are being dragged to their cell.

'That doesn't change the fact that she tried to murder my son!' Hades retorted glaring at Athena.

'They were dueling! They were both in the Arena!' Athena said with a hopeless tone.

'Uh, I wasn't dueling her. I was watching my brother duel Raven when Annabeth snuck behind me and stabbed me. I didn't even have a weapon!' I said matter of factly.

Athena glared at me, as mostly everyone in the council glared at Athena and Annabeth.

'ENOUGH! Athena, there are dozens of witnesses who saw the whole thing. I myself have checked their memories of the fight and have seen Annabeth stab Jared. It's undeniable' Zeus said glaring at Annabeth.

Wow, never thought Zeus cared so much! Of course if he knew I was Percy Jackson he would have definitely taken Annabeth's side and tried to have me killed. But still, I can't believe he is actually being nice!

There were several nods of agreement around the room at Zeus's words.

'All in favor of killing the traitor raise your hand' Zeus said raising his hand.

Hmm, I'm starting to think he just wants to throw his MasterBolt at something.

The majority of the council raised their hands for Annabeth's death.

'All in favor of Annabeth not being killed, raise your hand' Zeus said.

Athena, Artemis, and Ares raised their hands. Ares because Athena glared at him.

'Then it's decided. Annabeth, for the crime of Attempted murder, you are hereby sentenced to death. Any final words you wish to say?' Zeus asked in a calm voice.

Annabeth glared at Zeus. 'Yeah, I will come back. And I will kill you all. You will all pay for this outrage. Jared deserves to die! As do you all! Annabeth screamed back at Zeus.

'ENOUGH!' Zeus declared, rising from his seat and throwing his MasterBolt at Annabeth, hitting her on her chest.

Well that can't be good, I thought thinking over what Annabeth said before going ka-boom.

I bet she wishes she had awesome earthquake powers like me so she could have gotten away, I thought smirking internally.

Hades nodded his head. 'She's dead, and I will make sure she stays dead' He said confirming Annabeth's death.

Athena bursted into tears. I would have comforted her but since I'm the reason Annabeth is dead, I thought better of it. She would probably spartan kick me off Olympus.

Suddenly a mental picture of Athena Sparta kicking off Olympus appeared in my mind. It looked fun, until I landed in a street in New York.

Zeus then turned to me. 'Jared, you and your brother are dismissed'

I nodded. 'Can someone flash us back to camp or do we have to walk over there?' I asked.

'Hermes, flash them back to camp' Zeus ordered turning to Hermes who nodded and shrunk down to normal human size.

'Thank you' I said as Hermes flashed us back.

We appeared on top of a table with my foot on someone's plate filled with food.

Oops. 'Hermes! You couldn't have flashed us on the ground instead of the table?' I yell at the ceiling. I swear I felt Hermes smirk.

Nico and I managed to jump down from the table. I walked up to a counter and grabbed a ton of napkins and cleaned my shoes.

After I was finished I got dinner and walked over to the Hades table since everyone already knows Hades claimed me and Nico.

'So what happened to Annabeth?' An Ares kid asked curiously.

'Zeus executed her for attempted murder. He also threw the word traitor around a few times before he threw his MasterBolt at her' I replied.

Nico nodded his head in confirmation. 'Yeah, she also said she would come back and kill us all and kill the Olympians. Zeus didn't take that too well' Nico added.

Instantly the Aphrodite kids started applauding as they stared at me.

'What? She deserved to die for trying to kill a hot guy like you' An Aphrodite girl said winking at me.

I raised my eyebrow. Oookay, that was a bit strange. How come I never got this much attention when I was Percy Jackson?

'None of us like her anyways! She was mean!' A little girl said, who can't be older than 7.

I looked at her and smiled. 'Was she always like that?' I asked, looking at he older campers.

'She has been like that ever since she cheated on Percy Jackson, the greatest hero that ever lived' Clarisse said surprising me. I never expected her to say that about me.

After eating, Nico and I went to the Hades cabin since we got claimed by him.

'Hey shouldn't we tell your dad that we are undercover badasses?' Nico asked as we laid down on the bunk beds.

'Dude I completely forgot to tell my dad! Come on let's go!' I said jumping off the bed and letting some of my godly power come out so I can flash to my dad's palace.

Nico jumps off the top bunk and does the same. 'Ok let's flash over to Atlantis' I told Nico who nodded.

We flashed to Atlantis to find my father sitting on his throne.

'Hi dad' I said walking over to him.

He looks at me confused. 'You're not my son, you are Hades' son' He says looking at me.

I realize I'm still in my undercover mode. I snap my fingers and I turn back to my normal self.

'Sorry about that. I decided to return to camp and see what I've missed. I haven't been to camp in a few months and surprisingly not much has changed. But I decided to go to camp under a new identity' I told my father, filling him in on what I've been up to.

'So you were the one that got Annabeth killed? Im surprised at your ingenious idea. Very clever' My father commented after Nico and I told Poseidon everything.

'Hey I've always been smart, it's just that nobody notices because I'm always goofing around' I said with a grin.

My father laughed. 'Well it's good to know you're safe son. I thought Zeus had gotten you, I was about to call Hades and declare war right away' Dad said smiling at me.

I laugh. 'I'm not that easy to kill! At least not anymore' I said smirking.

'Exactly. We are only in disguise at camp because we feel like being in disguise. It's fun "Meeting" everyone again!' Nico says grinning.

'Exactly!' I joined in laughing.

'Well be careful. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask' Poseidon said as he left the room.

'Ok, bye dad' I said snapping my fingers and changing my appearances back to Jared Price. Nico did the same and we both flashed back to the Hades Cabin.
