This has little to do with PJO and I apologize for that, but this is just something that bothers me personally that I find all the time in fanfiction.

The. Fricking. Colors.

You may already know, but I'm an artist, and that means that one of the things I am picky about is color names. To me, there are 47 different shades of blue and purple and I know the names of all of them.

So when I see someone say that Percy's eyes are sea blue, I have a mini spaz attack.

Guys, you may not know, but sea blue is not a color that exists. Neither is ocean green. It's sea green and ocean blue.

Fellow fanfiction authors, I beg of you, please try to remember this the next time you write.

It doesn't have to be this specific fandom, either. The thing that made me write this was an OHSHC fanfic.

Please, please, learn the difference now. It kills me inside whenever I see that.

So if it's not obvious to you, I wrote this when it was late and I was desperate. So read it with a hint of salt.
