During the eight months that Jason was gone, Reyna couldn't escape. He was everywhere and in everything. He was hanging out with her in their joint office, he was training the troops in the streets, and defending a bullied kid in the mess hall. And when it was really nice outside... the sky was the exact same shade of his eyes.

On the stressful days when Octavian was demanding a new praetor, the fifth cohort was being discriminated against again, and a hundred other problems that she had to deal with were weighing down on her, looking up into that perfect blue sky and being reminded that Jason wasn't by her side to help her was just the last thing needed to break her.

Yeah, yeah, I know it was sad, but honestly, everything Jeyna is sad. It's like the HOO version of Thaluke... Which actually makes sense when I think about it because Jason and Thalia are siblings...

Anyway, I love Reyna a lot. She was a great throwback to SoM and just this awesome character. Although not many people really liked Jason, I do think that Reyna liked him for a reason, so here's just a little scene of why she might.
