Yes this is a rant.

If it bothers you all so much that I put random stuff here I'll make a random book or something. Anyway rant commences:

If you guys read the first Reading BOO I did a semi rant before on this. It's the same but after AuraPonyDemigodMage mentioned Pompeii.... It put me in a ranting mood.

As much as I love the song. And I do... (It's actually stuck in my head right now) you can buy statues and stuff of the casts of people who died. People who suffocated in layer after layer of ash. So much that it hardened and lasted while their bodies disintegrated.

People don't seem to understand that the entire city was covered under ash.

I do like ancient history. So I find the story interesting but I think this is going far. And now they made a movie (which I did not watch) to market even more. They did the same thing as the Titanic (did not watch all of this movie either). Making money off of a tragedy. Only a handful survived that crash.

Actually one of my old teachers in like second grade her grandmother was a survivor who had gone on the ship for her honeymoon.

My point is really that I just find it wrong that people do this.

And Boston Strong shirts (I'm actually wearing said shirt at the moment) yes they send a message but then again you can't look at the past disasters and pretend they didn't happen. They did. People lost lives.

Anyway just think people. You have brains. I know it's hard but try and use them.
