Leo still hadn't come back. He's been gone for about two years now. The eight of then were devastated. But Nico and Hazel assured the rest that he wasn't dead. They could tell that much.

Last year was the hardest. The victory celebration of honor was the abiversary of the fall of Gaea and also the death of their best friend. He gave himself up for a good cause, and he knew what he did was right. But at the end of the day, Piper and Jason mourned his leaving, being so close to the goofball.

Last year they aged tears together. They sacrificed  their food for Apollo. They wished for the god to look out for their friend whenever he flew over the ocean. Jason sacrificed his to Jupiter, hoping that being in the dog he would have a clear view of him. Same with Percy, who wanted his father to return his best friend to Camp if he was ever found in his waters. They waited so long for their friend. So long. The second year came around and here we are now...

Cliffhanger. I regret nothing.
