Epilogue

Percys POV
Life was going well. After the white flash, I woke up at moms place, lying in bed with no recollection of getting there. When I walked out, I was surprised to see pictures all over the refrigerator with Poseidon in them. Did mom go on vacation with him? It didn't seem possible, especially not with how mom would have reacted if I was out cold, or in a war. Something weird was going on.
I walked out of the room, only to die of a heart attack.
Just kidding, but i was close to dying of a heart attack. A while group of people jumped out of nowhere (around the wall) and yelled 'SURPRISE!!'. It took me a while to realize it was my birthday, which I had totally forgotten about. That's when I registered all the faces in front of me.
Mom, Poseidon, Annabeth, Grover,
Nico, Thalia, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Reyna, Will, Tyson... everyone was there. 'H-how? How are you all alive?' I teared up. 'Did you hit your head seaweed brain? Why would we be dead? Unless you meant dying of boredom while we waiting for her majesty, Percy to wake up.' Annabeth, with her own grey eyes smiled at me.
Suddenly, in an instant, my mind had a conversation with Scira, a whole conversation in a fraction of a second. Whoa, I said fraction, Annabeths teaching is helping me get better at math!
Sorry, I got distracted. Anyways, Scira explained to me how all dimensions are close to each other. If a hole opens up in one, it is filled in by a piece from another dimension, which eventually causes both dimensions to merge, and in this case, replace. Of course, a change of that magnitude cannot be done perfectly, so it's possible for some people to remember the memories from the old dimension. Apparently, Scira said that, the Greek and Roman pantheon gets its very existence due to the gods, who in turn get power from people believing in them. However, all demigods were wiped out, and Percy no longer counted as one because he no longer was a god, so his belief didn't count. This caused all gods to fade, which began to cause trouble all over the planets because no one was maintaining the order for the world. In the end, the gods faded, causing all minor gods to fade too, which caused everything Greek and Roman based to be erased from existence, which meant Atlas was erased, which meant the sky fell down and destroyed the entire surrounding area for thousands of miles was destroyed. A hole that big required a lot of filling in, so it was natural for the dimension to be fully discarded and replaced. Scira said she used the last of her power to have the replacing dimension be one without that many negative stuff, and she also created this sort of memory that would activate when I try to remember the old world the first time after waking up.
In short, Greek and Roman go poof, Percy and friends are human, Percy does not have to save the world anymore because that belongs to the new pantheon that I don't know about, the one that replaced the Greek and Roman one.

After realizing I could have an easy life and no longer be worried about saving the gods, or worrying about anything Greek, I did the first thing that anyone would have done naturally after realizing that.
I cried.
What did you expect? Blackjack, Ms O'Leary, all my Greek mythic friends didn't exist anymore. I couldn't even talk to horses now, nor could I airbend.
It also seems that, because I never went to camp with annabeth, I never got close to her, which means we never ended up dating. Yes, Percabeth doesn't exist in this world. I'll have to fix that.
For now though, I'll enjoy this. After all, I just want to relax now. So I sat down at the table, surrounded by friends and family, listening to the classic happy birthday song, ate my blue chocolate sponge cake, played a few tournaments of Mario cart, and called it a day.
Best. Day. Ever. And so I loved happily ever after.

Wait hold on for that just a bit, I can't NOT tell you guys about this.

While everyone was leaving, Annabeth asked to talk to me alone. I, being a hardcore simp, obliged.
'Percy, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but just hear me out. Lately, I've been having these dreams of a war, and gods, and another war, and... basically a bunch of weird things. There was this camp I went to apparently, and you were there, and you were able to control water for some reason, and you led an army to war, and basically you did a lot of big stuff that you probably wouldn't be able to do originally. I know it would be natural to dismiss this as a crazy dream, but I've been having it for a week, and it always connects to the previous dream, like a movie. I can't seem to forget anything either. It almost feels like I'm watching the life of another Annabeth. What do you think of it?' Annabeth quickly spat out, then proceeded to avoid my eyes because, well, she's Annabeth. 'Annabeth. What IM about to tell you is crazy too, but hear me out. All that did happen, but that world no longer exists. This is another story. I'm glad you remember everything though.' I replied, tilting her head so we looked at each other, eye to eye. 'There was one more thing...' and Annabeth, who had never looked so flustered in her life, PLAYED WITH HER HANDS LIKE SHE FELT AWKWARD.
'Go on, what is it?' I nudged her. 'Well, in this dream, me and you... um... we were... you know what I'm trying to say right?' She asked. I grinned. 'Nope!' I wanted to hear it from her mouth.
'You infuriate me Percy. Okay, might as well do it, no holding back. Me and you were an item in the dream, like boyfriend and girlfriend, and it gives me an excuse to act on my growing feelings and ask you out, now it's your turn to answer.' She blurted out again, then covered her mouth and widened her eyes. 'I didn't mean to say so much' she whispered.
As for me, heh, my brain short circuited and I just stood there with this weird smile on my face.
'Why are you making that face? Answer me now!' She demanded, her cheeks growing redder and redder.
'Definitely, a hundred times, I accept.' And I took her hands and spun around the room until we both collapsed, giggling.

'So? Will you be my Wise Girl?' I asked once she stopped laughing. Unfortunately, this set off another round of giggles.
'Only if you'll be my seaweed brain'

Fin

That's where the story ends. I'd like to thank all of you for sticking with me for quite a while as I slowly updated this book. Initially, I planned on continuing this series, but even I have to admit that I might never really finish it at this pace and willpower, so I have to end it here. However, if anyone wants to continue the series for me, go ahead and do so, just remember to give me my credit. Other than that, I wish all of you well in life.
