Little Clovis & CG Percy

Requester: @MusicMoss

Another chapter after such a long weight!! I hope you all enjoy it! :>

"Morning Clovis," Percy gently shook the boy. "Come on, you've got to get up now."

Clovis didn't budge. Percy thought he wouldn't. Clovis was a very heavy sleeper after all. But he needed the boy to get up and eat something. Napping for this long without eating or drinking something was unhealthy.

This was partly the reason why Percy usually had Clovis regress in his cabin. If he were to stay in the Hypnos cabin for too long, he'd probably fall asleep too. Also, Clovis had an easier time waking up and playing in Poseidon cabin than in his own cabin. And Clovis loved playing with his little items! He was just usually asleep most of the time.

"Clovis," Percy shook slightly harsher. "Come on now, little one. Sleepy times over."

Clovis still didn't budge. Percy thought about it before opening up his curtains. The ones that lead to the ocean, he didn't want people looking into the cabin. Maybe this would wake him up? His cabin was already bright, and opening the curtains made it brighter.

"Clovis," Percy said louder as he shook him again. He didn't want to hurt the boy, but he also needed him awake.

"Hmmm?" Clovis finally hummed. He didn't open his eyes, nor did he move. But he still responded.

"Sleepy times over," Percy said as he rolled Clovis over.

"Nooooooo," Clovis whispered, hiding his face in his pillow. He wasn't ready to wake up yet.

"No can do, it's time to wake up now," Percy said as he pulled Clovis's blanket off him.

"Cooooooold!!" Clovis whined as he huddled into a ball.

"I know, but you can get your blankly back when you get up," Percy said. Clovis huffed in response. When he tried to go back to sleep, Percy helped him sit up. "No, no, we need to get some food in your tummy."

Clovis huffed as he stood up, leaning mostly against Percy for support. He wrapped himself back in his blanket. "S'cold, Perc."

"I know, but I have a yummy snack!" Percy walked him towards the rug.

"Bewwies?" Clovis asked.

"Yep! Strawberries and honey milk," Percy said as Clovis sat on the floor. This interested Clovis enough to make him not go back to sleep. "Let's just not tell Mr. D, kay? Keep this little thing between us?"

"Kay," Clovis hummed as he ate his food.

"Would you like to play after this?"

"Mm," Clovis shrugged.

"So, blocks? Or we can go outside," Percy offered. "We could build a sand castle!"

Clovis shook his head before leaning against Percy. Honey milk always made him sleepy, a fact Percy often forgot.

"What about your butterfly puzzle?" Percy asked, this caught Clovis's attention.

"Catipiwwer?" Clovis asked. Caterpillar was the name Clovis used for all bugs when he was small, another thing Percy forgot.

"No, butterfly," Percy said as he got up from his spot. "Maybe the ladybug one too?"

"Catipiwwer!" Clovis smiled. He loved his animal puzzles! They were easy and Percy always seemed so happy whenever he completed one.

"We don't have a caterpillar one," Percy said confused. He walked over to Clovis's baby bag, which was personally designed by Percy himself. He looked through Clovis's puzzles. Butterfly, ladybug, turtle, bee, but no caterpillar. "How about I bring you all your puzzles?"

Clovis nodded to the idea, clapping his hands. Percy set out all his puzzles, and Clovis grabbed the butterfly one.

"Catipiwwer!" Clovis said as he took the puzzle apart.

"Oh right . . . Yes that's a catipiwwer," Percy agreed. Clovis giggled at Percy's baby voice. "Look at you, you're so giggly."

Clovis grabbed one of the butterfly wings, placing it in the correct spot. Percy clapped in response.

"Good job! Alright, another piece," Percy said as Clovis grabbed the second wing.

After Clovis was done, and Percy praised him for completing an entire puzzle, he grabbed the turtle one. But the turtle was slightly complicated. If he was big, he could have done it with no problem, but there were so many pieces! He grabbed a piece but it wouldn't fit. He frowned and tried to put it in a different spot. But it still wouldn't fit!

"Spot," Clovis said as he handed the piece to Percy.

"Hmm, well I think it goes somewhere over here," Percy motioned towards the spot it was near. "How about you try to some different spots?"

Percy handed him the piece back and Clovis huffed. But he started randomly trying different spots, eventually finding it. He gasped and clapped his hands.

"You did it! Good job, baby! That was amazing!" Percy ruffled his bedhead hair. Clovis giggled and rubbed his eyes. "Awh, are you getting sleepy already? Let's try to at least finish this puzzle, kay?"

"But it's hard," Clovis pouted.

"Well, how we do the bee one?" Percy said, moving the bee puzzle toward them.

"Hmmm, kay," Clovis agreed. Maybe one more puzzle before a nap . . . maybe.
