PERCY POV:

"You still haven't explained yourself." I said whining to Leo, "How is it that you, a son of Hephaestus is here in New Rome and also in charge of an entire Cohort?" He gave me a sad look and then switched into his 'I got a prank planned you want in?' look.

"Well where do I start?" He said Rubbing the back of his neck smiling innocently.

"We got a long walk to Apollo's Temple, you can start now Valdez." I said with my official side Grin.

He smiled at me and nodded so fast I though his head was about to fall off. "After you died and I left Camp Half-Blood, I got to The Wolf house and you know fought against a strong wolf of Her pack, after that she taught me how to be Roman, it was hard at first, but then Father appeared before me... He came to me in the old camp sad because he saw how broken I was... I wasn't the McZizzle Valdez Of Flames no more. I felt my flames grow cold... But Father came to me in his Roman form Vulcan and he explained to me that he hated to see me like this."

Flashback.

"Leo, please ummm son." Said Vulcan at me... I know he is trying to talk to me, but how can I? He was there and didnt even vote against saving Percy, all of them sat there even his father watch him get killed slowly.

"Leo stop thinking about that!" He said bringing out a piece of machine and working with it,

"Stop reading my mind Dad." I said as I summoned a small flame and played with it, while Dad and I sat there quietly I made the flame go to his head and dance around until in went poof.

"Look... I'm not good with living things... As you know already Son. But please give me a chance to help you in this situation." I looked at him and saw how his eyes were puffy red. I felt a heavy weight appear in my heart, "You cared...?" I said quietly. He nodded and I felt a spark of hope. Then what if I could... Yeah that sounds good.

"Father you are in your Roman Aspect now, why?" I asked him an idea coming into my mind so quick that I started heating up and jumping up and down, the floor started melting from how hot I was getting. Luckily I made my clothes 100% lava proof. Vulcan had a confused face,

"Because it's easier for me to speak with you." He said finishing a small machine that looked like a small helicopter, it was moving around the room.

"Dad look into my mind!" I said still jumping, I felt excited beyond belief, I was radiating so much heat that the cabin started sounding the fire alarm in the forge!! That's how hot I am Ladies, Any takers? No? Oh well your loss.

"Leo are you sure?" He asked me looking at me with seriousness. I kept jumping like a little kid over and over, my eyes darting to different places, my hands where on fire with pure almost white flames. As a little time passed Vulcan opened his eyes and smiled his eyes shined brighter than before.

"A son of Hephaestus of the Original Seven also a son of me Vulcan! That is a spectacular calculation son!" He said as his beard caught on fire from me, as I was literally in fire from the excitement. "Ok ok calm down before you go nuclear again." Said Vulcan putting a hand on my shoulder.

"I Vulcanus, God of Smithing, Fire, Volcanoes, claim My son Leo Valdez, as a Child of Rome." As he finished my flames were gone. I felt normal, but Inside of me something changed, I felt in my minds plans pop up for more war machines anything military came into mind.

Then I looked around me and saw how I had a glowing red Aura with the Anvil and a fire emblem mixed together on top of me floating. "Interesting development." After I sat down with Vulcan, he explained how things were going to be different, and the discipline in New Rome is top notch. As he said no more joking around I got up quickly.

"No joking?! Come on that's what I'm known for, its like saying that I can't build random things anymore." I said putting my hands in the air, Vulcan looked at me and smiled a little bit looking away. "No...nononononononooooooooooo... Anything but that Father, I need to build, joke, make girls melt from my hotness, ugh horrible idea." I said sitting back down. Slumping on my gaming chair, which had an Indoor candy store bag, which can give you anything you want for ultimate snacking, All Rights Go To The Awesome of Awesomeness Leo Valdez Inc.

"Twizzler?" I offered to dad, he nodded and took it, eating it like a kid. I laughed, "Alright Dad... I'll go. Maybe I will get better and become someone you could be proud of." I said smiling at him a little bit.

"Leo You have made me proud ever since you were born. One of my only son's that can wield fire, survived and fought with me side by side against Gaea. Of course I am proud." He said patting my back.

"Eh still not used to human feelings?" I asked him, but he looked away.
"It's ok, I know your trying dad... Thank you" I got up and hit a button on the chair, it turned into a small cube that fits in your pocket. Also All rights reserved For The Fire of Love Valdez Inc.

Flashback end.

"Wow... Who knew you'd be blessed by both sides of your father. That's actually pretty cool!", I said putting my arm over his shoulder. "But you still haven't explained how in Pluto's underpants you made it to Legate." I said crossing my arms.

"Damn Percy. Barely here for 3 hours and already on my back with all these questions?" Said Leo running away laughing.

"Why is he running away?" I asked myself to see smoke coming from behind me, I pulled my shirt to see it on fire, "Damn you Leo!!!!!" I said while running towards a nearby lake. I jumped in and the flame kept going, I freaked out and turned off the I don't want to get wet ability to OFF.

As I reached the bottom, I noticed the trash around the water, the color green, this lake was contaminated. "Very disappointed.... These Romans don't respect the water." I waved my hand and everything was gone, clean and the water looked a beautiful blue with the sun shining up top, making this look crystal clear. I smiled at my work and swam back up, on my way up something hold on to my leg and pulled me down, I turned around sword in hand to find a Water nymph, she looked to be about 8 years old and crying. I got close and patted her head,

"Hey... Why are you crying?" I asked in my sweetest voice as possible.

"Sniff... Th.... The lake has been dirty for so long.... And people hate me because I'm from the water" she said hugging my shirt crying into it. "And you landed in the water and now its all clean, thank you! I prayed to Lord Neptune, but he never comes here... " She kept crying over and over. I smiled and kept brushing her blue hair over and over until she stopped. She backed away and looked at me, her eyes were pure Sky blue.

"Thank you!" She said hugging me again and disappearing from in front of me. I felt happy for that and swam back up, as I got out Leo was waiting for me behind a statue still laughing. I smiled and willed the water to go around his feet. I froze it and then walked towards him.

"Oh Leo! I got a surprise for you!" I said sarcastically while starting to run in his direction, he stopped laughing and tried to run, but it was visible his feet were frozen. He tried to melt it, but I used the ground to cover his feet too and then crystalized it using the ability over Matter. I grinned evilly and his eyes showed concern.

"Come on Percy it was a joke! And did you just controlled the ground?" He said in a question tone.

"I jumped and dumped moss on top of him" he stood there with a disgusted look,

"I think I'm going to-" he barfed right there. "Why...does it stink so much??! Omg its in my mouth and eyes!! Ugh."

"That Leo is from this lake behind me, the romans here do not clean it and it was in bad shape, so I cleaned it and got all of the dirty stuff." I heard a giggle from behind me and felt a tug on my left leg, I saw the little girl giggling over and over, Leo with roman armor covered in mud and moss and some other things I rather not say.

"Who's that?" Asked Leo raising an eyebrow of mud.

"This is my friend and this Lake's spirit." I said putting my hand on her head and ruffling her hair. "She was suffering in that dirty water.... I felt bad for her. But, now she has my blessing so-" I stopped myself... Styx.

"Blessing?" Asked Leo shaking off the slime or whatever it is.

"N- No!" I stuttered.

"Is that why I feel in control of this lake?" Asked the little spirit shyly.

I bent down and nodded. She jumped and gave me another hug. Then disappeared with a sound of a splash.

"You are very nice to her..." Said Leo walking over to me, I jumped back because I have no idea how he got out.

"Is it because she reminds you of your little sister?" Said Leo in a happy tone.

"Sister?" I asked confused.

"Well yeah, your mom and Paul had a kid remember?" Leo Faced palm. "Sorry I forgot you were somewhere else" he says slowly. I looked up at the sky...

"Mom... Its been so long that I can't believe I forgot about her." I said in a sad tone.

"Oh but don't worry Brah, for The Awesome Leo Valdez of Awesomeness visited them with your Dad Poseidon almost every week." I raised an eyebrow.

"The so called Father that voted, for me to be sent into the void and disowned me?" I said in a bit of anger, the sky darkened and I cursed at myself for not controlling my state of mind. "Sorry, and thank you for keeping an eye on them." I patted Leo's back.

"No problem, now what?" He said looking at me for guidance.

"Uh... To Apollo's Temple, you know our plan to go there?" I said slowly hoping he remembers.

"Oh yeah hahaha" he laughed and walked in front of me. I waved my hand and he was clean again.

"Thanks." He said with a smile of I will get you back. I nodded and followed him.

On our way there I was saluted by other people who were in New Rome living there, it looked beautiful just like the last time I was here with... Never mind. We passed some of the other temple's as we got to Apollo's temple it had a shine to it, the sun was hitting it just right making it shine with gold. I could here some music going on inside, but it felt calm and welcoming. Outside cleaning the pillars was Octavian with chains on his feet. He saw Leo and cleaned faster.

"Welcome Master Leo!" He said excitedly. Leo kicked him in his stomach and kept walking. I guess he still hates Octavian, I felt a bit bad, but then I saw him smile and I remembered everything he has done. I gave him an evil stare and he palled, I looked back at Leo and Octavian got up scared and kept cleaning the walls and such. As we passed the entry I felt a sudden heavy pain in my head, I started building walls in my mind like I was taught by Pontus. Then the pain faded and I ran towards Leo and managed to sit next to him before a flash appeared from the sky, like the sun deciding to visit Earth for a little bit. We covered our eyes and there stood this blond god with a Colgate smile that could make any girl melt. He looked around worried and saw Us sitting there, he looked at me with a I think I've seen this guy before look, but then notices Leo.

"Hey Leo, have you seen any demigod enter here acting weird.?" He asked looking at me and then at Leo.

"What's up Apollo!, nope just me and this new demigod that just passed the test and is here for healing." He motioned to me. Apollo smiled and nodded. He turned to walk away but stopped, I felt a weird sensation in my skin, like getting hit by the second. I looked and I saw that Apollo was forcefully trying to read my mind by force. I calmed down and acted like I fainted. Apollo looked down in disappointment and flashed away. Leo looked confused and then lifted me up.

"You ok?" He said with a worried look. I smiled and got up. Then behind Apollo's Altar I saw someone standing there with a dark cloak. It made the shadows bend on him to make him disappear more. I saw a smile and a flash of Golden and white eyes. I got up and tackled the mysterious figure. Leo got up and ran to me, making his hand catch on flame.

"Who are you?!" Said Leo Ready to fight. I smiled and looked at Leo. He saw me happy and he calmed down.

"Leo let me present to you Aether Primordial God of The Light and anything shiny enough to catch his eyes!" I said to Leo. He almost fell facedown first but got stopped by Aether who put both his hands on his shoulders.

"Hello Leo and please do not bow. Not yet at least. Now put both your hands on my shoulder guys. We are going for a ride."

As we touched Aether, we were teleported into another place.

Somewhere....

"Were are we?" Me and Leo asked at the same time.

"Welcome To my Own Dimension, thanks to Chaos of course. In here me and the other Primordials will train you both. For the war that is coming, Perseus can not do it alone. And you Leo are actually my son. You were adopted by Hephaestus when you were a baby." Leo opened his eyes wider that I could ever think of and started fiddling with copper wires and rubber bands. He got on fire and kept going until his brown eyes changed to a white sun shade and his hair was pure black like mine but had a fire glow to it. He looked my age too.

"Now you both are 17 years old, here you will train until ready. Time here passes differently than on Earth. 1 year here is an hour over there. So let's start shall we?" Said Aether teleporting us both to gods know where.

3rd Person POV

Olympus shook as thunder rumbled above, then all of the council appeared except for Poseidon. Zeus ignored it and waited for him. As a while passed a flash appeared next to his Throne and in Came Poseidon, looking older that Zeus, his sea green eyes lost their shine, his clothes looked worn out and his Trident looked transparent. At this sight only one goddess reacted and teleported to him, she hugged him in her 8 year old form,

"Its ok Poseidon, do not blame yourself. You had to do what was right. There is no turning back, but trust him he should return soon enough." Said Hestia with reassurance to Poseidon. He nodded briefly and sat on his throne.

"Now on to the news, Apollo?" Motioned Zeus to Apollo.

"Earlier today I felt a strong presence in My temple on New Rome. The presence felt that of a-" Apollo got cut off by Artemis.

"Of a Primordial just born..." Finished Artemis.

"There is no possible way that a Primordial would be born. Chaos or the other Primordials don't have the time." Said Athena in a defiant tone.

"Yes sister, but think about it... If I wanted to start a war, I would get a powerful demigod and remake him to the image that I would want." Said Mars in a simple tone.

"Mars?" Asked Athena.

"Sorry for appearing, but for some reason I have the feeling of going to New Rome." Said Mars with a confused expression. "Father?" He asked Zeus.

"Go... I felt something calling me there also, but managed to control myself. Let us know if anything goes wrong... Son." Zeus flashed away and everyone looked surprised even Poseidon lifted an eyebrow.

"That's interesting isn't it?" Said Hera. "He has never called to him like that in a long time... What now? Perseus appears in front of us." She said and everyone leaned forward and shifted in their seats.

"I don't think that would be an appropriate joke Sister" said Poseidon with sadness. He flashed away with the sound of a sea breeze. Athena got up and looked at Hera angrily.

"That was not necessary sister! He is going through enough already." Athena glared at Hera and Flashed away. Probably to Poseidon's place.
The rest of the gods left except for Hestia who sat back on the hearth and poked it with a stick.

"If it isn't Zeus acting up its Hera.... I swear those two are too dramatic." Said a voice that echoes through the hall. Hestia turns towards the voice and smiles.

"And here I though you were going to stay hidden forever." Said Hestia in a simple tone. A shadow appeared behind Hestia and made its way to her side. It took a humanoid form.

"Of course my lovable Granddaughter. For many Ages I have watched and felt that now was the time to make an appearance. And No I am not here to destroy anything if that is what you are thinking." Said the now cloaked figure.

"How many shadows and cloaks are you going to have on Grandfather?" Asked a 12 year old Hestia with her arms crossed.

"Void?! Is that you?" Asked a surprised Mars. He pulled out an Ak-47 and went to shoot when the hearth glowed dangerously.

"Put down your weapon Mars... Or I will personally kick you ass. Also weren't you supposed to be in New Rome by now?" Said a burning Hestia. Which in reality surprised Both Mars and Void. Mars walked over to the Hearth and sat on the right of Hestia...

"My apologies Aunt Hestia, but I just can't act peaceful after what Void has done in the past." Said Mars with a pleading tone. Hestia lifted her hand and Mars grew quiet and motioned for him to sit back down. As soon as both of them looked comfortable Hestia looked deep into the Hearth with a smile.

"Family must always be together. Hera might think she is the one that keeps this family together, but she is one of the reasons why we are always in denial and fighting each other. For many years we have all acted foolishly and that has cost us many things... You know don't you Void?" She said asking him, making Void jump in surprise. He looked down in disappointment and nodded.

"Yes.... My own late Son." He said making Mars open his eyes wide and calm down as Hestia put her hand on his shoulder. "I had finally found a woman that made me complete. She was perfect with her Black Hair, beautiful Gray eyes and most of all a smile and care that made you want to give your heart to her... All of my happiness was from her and my very first Child. When I found out she had a baby on the way, I didn't know what to do, but Chaos and Order told me to not worry that it's a good thing this has happened to me, as this will help me understand the world better. I felt something I have never known... Love... Love to protect those dear to me.

All was well, my son Inherited my powers, he was going to become the next In line to my whole Domain...." Void grew quiet. The Room grew cold and darker. Void's voice sounded broken beyond repair. "They... They went to their home planet... My Wife she wanted to visit her Mother's Planet. I nodded and allowed them to go there with my strongest warriors. But I was foolish... I was too blind to see... My own family were planning on killing me to give my son my whole Domain and throne next to Order and Chaos. My own wife was from a line of humans that consume divine beings and I was the next one in line. My son was innocent and she... SHE KILLED HIM! JUST BECAUSE I SAID NO TO VISITING THEM" He said with tears running down his cheeks. Hestia hugged him, "When I felt him starting to fade, I managed to use my void and get there in time to stop them, but no... I was too late, and they stood with blood upon their hands of my own Child... Of my own blood. I felt rage... Rage that I have never known before. In an instant I destroyed their planet and every single one of my wife's people. I made sure they had disappeared from this place... Not into the void, but gone completely. I held my kid's body on my hands, he smiled at me... His eyes shined bright... With his final Breath he wished me a happy life and that he wanted to live next to me and grow up.... Sniff... Just like me." Void kept sobbing quietly, the Hearth glowed dim, Mars himself had tears running down his cheeks, Hestia had her knees close to her chest.

Behind of them there was a sob and Mars turned to see his girlfriend Aphrodite crying on her knees, he motioned for her to come forward. She sat next to him and cried on his shoulder.

"After that I went to Chaos and Order to see if they could bring him back, but... They shook their heads saying that what those people did was disconnect the boy's own life and soul to nothing. I knew that in that moment I couldn't do anything. I went blind. I started destroying everything in sight. I couldn't control myself.

Order and Chaos imprisoned me in a part of the void where I could not do anything.... Absolutely powerless. After Ages and Ages a gap appeared and I could see a child be born. A son of Poseidon." Everyone looked up surprised when they heard a Gasp behind them, as they turned they saw a weak Poseidon and a worried Athena. Hestia nodded at them while she wiped off her tears.

"I saw his life since being born, the way Poseidon cared for this child... Because of the condition set by the Brothers, Poseidon had to leave Percy behind to protect him, It reminded me of how important it was to be a father... Part of a family. I felt his love, The kid's mother's love... It made me realize that out there love still exists. I decided to help him and watched over him as a baby. Whenever he was in trouble, I used a bit of my powers to help him, I had a chance and this was to care for this child like my own... To start again." Void looked at Poseidon's eyes with tears, "I am sorry Poseidon. Your kid... I adopted him as my own since he was born. He grew slowly, but he was just like you, Loyal, respectful and protects those he loves. When he was in Tartarus, with Athena's daughter, I made sure my power radiated around him to keep the bigger evils at bay, but a few managed to get close to him." Void laughed and wiped off his face, he took a deep breath.

"I... Ever since he was born, I felt a closer connection to him than my other children." Poseidon stopped and breath slowly. Athena rubbed his back in support and he continued on, "After all of his heroics deeds.... After he was the leader in two big wars, after saving us gods many times, he was never selfish And he was loyal to all of us. He even told me how he... He actually liked Ares. That he respected him and no matter how many times they fought, in his heart he felt that Ares was a like a Big brother he never had." Poseidon looked down at his hands, he looked older that all of the gods surrounding the hearth. Mars turned to Ares and back to Mars constantly. But then stopped at Ares.

"When he was framed for helping the Titans and The giants with Gaea... I knew they were wrong, but I couldn't do anything.... I felt something holding me back, controlling my actions... As my words left my mouth. That I disowned him.... No longer my son. I felt a piece of me die. I-" he started crying none stop. "I abandoned my own son!! The one who always trusted me, loved me, took care of my own people in Atlantis, they loved him.... He brought smiles to everyone. And yet I killed him..." He buried his face on his hands. Athena hugged him and said words of encouragement, he kept crying.

Void stood up and looked at everyone, taking a moment for everyone to calm down, including himself.

"In 1 year an enemy stronger than any god or primordial is heading here to earth.. " the other gods frowned upon his words. "And behind it, there is an army of beings that not even Chaos herself can stop it by herself. I came here baring this message. Now I will leave and prepare. I will see you in one year time. Also one last thing..." Void looked up and smiled.

"Poseidon your day will come when all your troubles will dissapear and the days become brighter. And for All of you, be ready. In one year you will find out 2 new things that will shake the very foundations of Olympus itself. Thank you all for listening and watch me humiliate myself a bit" said Void Smiling.

All of the gods sat there looking at him with disbelief. Others were still sad about his story. Void nodded at Hestia and vanished. The Hearth returned to normal. Poseidon sat there thinking on Voids words. He left with Athena, and Ares grabbed the now asleep Aphrodite, and teleported her away while he sat back on the Hearth.

"Aunt Hestia." Said Ares looking at her with sad eyes.

"Yes nephew?" She said happily in her 8 year old form again.

"I wanted to forgive myself. I have been a dick and a horrible god." Said Ares in a steel voice holding any emotion back.

"Listen Ares.... Its in your Nature. You are the god of war as Ares and as Mars you." Hestia stopped as he switched back to Mars, "As Mars you are a military Genius, Master of any weaponry and the Pride Of Rome." Said Hestia smiling. Mars nodded and flashed away with a first ever nice Smile.

"Its kind of Creepy to see him smile like that!" Said Hermes from behind a pillar.

"Of course, but its not like you are any better than him, would you like me to tell you what bad things you have done?" Asked Hestia with a creepy smile.

"Nope.... I got to go BYE!" Said Hermes flashing away with the sound of George asking for a rat to eat.

"Thank you for opening up to us Void.... Believe it or not, you have shown them to open up and express themselves. Even to Mars." Hestia summoned some small sandwiches, and happily ate them in her 8 year old form humming a happy tune and tending the hearth.

Chaos appeared for a second and waved her hand, the gods stood there confused for a second. "They will only remember that there is a bad enemy coming... I prefer to keep the secret of Percy and Leo to ourselves for now.... hehehehe".

I am very surprised by all of this(Not Really), but having a twist with Ares/Mars acting like this, makes me way happier than having him be a horrible god like always xD more to come soon enough!
