Chapter 25: Prank Wars Part 3

Piper infuriated me. Grrrrr. As I walked out of the Aphrodite cabin, people were outside. They looked at me in horror. Whatever.

The day went by pretty slow. I only could think about pranking Piper. I randomly laughed manically. The campers again looked at me confused. By the time night was here, I grabbed my supplies and headed out the door.

When I got to that pink and gross Aphrodite cabin, I stepped inside. I got my secret weapon out: dirt. All of the Aphrodite roommates absolutely hated dirt. I got out my other secret weapon: sand. I started with Piper. She was going to be the first one to pay. I tilted the bucket of dirt on her first. Next, I did the sand. I decided I would sleep in her cabin so I could see the reaction the Aphrodite campers would get. I repeated the sand and dirt formula. I also did a few other tricks and went to sleep under a bed.

I woke up just in time. Piper got up surprised. She shouldn't have risen. A bucket of water dosed her from head to foot. It made the dirt and sand get all clumpy. Piper yelled. A camper started to rise.

"Don't!" Piper warned. It was too late. The camper rose and the water got him. He yelled too. All of the campers then rose and got wet. There was a confusing mixture of shrieking and crying. Ha. Piper's face was bright red.

"That Thalia. I should've seen it coming!" she muttered to herself. She locked eyes with me. She got up, completely covered in sand and dirt and headed straight at me. I wished I wasn't here anymore. Apparently, my wish was granted. I dissolved right when Piper looked under the bed. She make a confused sound.

I appeared in my cabin. I quickly got in my sleeping bag because I knew Piper would come and see if I was there. I was right. She came in. "Thalia?"

I turned like I was tired and muttered sleepily, "Yeah?"

"Did you happen to be in my cabin?" she asked angrily.

"No. I was sleeping!" I lied. Jason rose from his covers. He got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. He suddenly slipped. I ran to see him in pain.

"Ow!" he screamed.

"What happened?" I asked worriedly.

"Centaur acid. Hurts," he managed to say. Who did this? I pulled him out and ran to get some Apollo campers. They took him to the Big House.

Everyone went to visit Jason. Connor and Travis for some reason looked startled. They then laughed. Chiron glared at them. I instantly knew that Connor and Travis had made a mistake. They went to the Zeus cabin instead of Percy's, but they still got all the laughter.

"How is he?" I asked Grant, an Apollo camper.

"He's fine. Luckily, his onesie flannel pajamas helped him not get a lot of the pain he would have experienced," he replied. I forgot that Jason wore onsies. I stifled a laugh.

I answered him seriously, "That's good. He has two people to get revenge on."
