Pistos Pov

My alarm clock goes off and I groan and smash it in annoyance. Getting up I flip up my hood and leave my room. I enter the Meeting Room and find most of my warriors already up. After a few minutes of planning the training exercises today we leave to eat breakfast.

After that I take a group of 50 demigods (Camp Half-Blood has grown quite a lot since my days). We begin with 5 km run after that we took the stadium to start practicing. I paired off each demigod and watched as they fought each other. Soon I paired up the better fighters with each other, the mediocre ones with each other, and the worse ones together. I spent little time with the better ones telling the to teach the mediocre ones, and focused my energy the worst group. After an hour of training I told them to take another run then they were free to do regular camp activities.

An hour later the conch horn sounds signalling the arrival of someone.  I arrive to find 100 Hunters of Artemis led by Thalia. She hadn't much other than then slightly longer hair and a small tattoo of the moon on her left wrist. As I walked to where Thalia, Chiron, and Annabeth, where standing I was given many dirty looks from the Hunters of Artemis, Thalia herself gave me a look of suspicion.

"Ah, Thalia this is Pistos commander of the Army of Chaos," introduced Chiron.

"Who? What?" She asked

"The Army of Chaos is an intergalactic  peace-keeping force here to protect worlds from apocalyptic events. I am the leader, Commander Pistos."

"Then where were you during the 2nd Titan and Giant War?" She questioned

"A prophecy foretelling your fate had been issued limited are intervention during those wars due to ancient laws." I responded

Thalia rolled her eyes muttering under her breath before turning back to Chiron and said,

"Anyway Chiron, John won't able to make it but Thomas is still coming and he's got something special, and no I don't know what it is."

"Hmm... Well we will just have to wait and see in the meantime Pistos I need you to train a group of demigods who have been having some trouble." Said Chiron pointing at a group in the distance.

I nodded than headed over to help them.

~Time Skip~

I had just finished training the new demigods when the conch horn blew signalling the arrival of most likely Thomas.  As I ran up the hill I saw a girl most likely four to five years of age beside him. Chiron arrived first and asked about the girl.

Thomas who looked very concerned said "This is my daughter Alex."

"Why is she here?" I asked

Ignoring my question he asked "Who are you?"

"I'm Commander Pistos but why is she here?!?"

"Because she's a daughter of Aphrodite" he answered.

Me, Chiron, and Annabeth who had just arrived stood there shocked. Than Annabeth called for Abby and told her,

"Abby, sweetie will you please show Alex around camp."

Abby nodded enthusiastically calling for Alex to follow her and she happily obliged.

Turning back to Thomas, Chiron asked

"Why didn't you tell me about her before?"

He shrugged and said "No monster attack happened until about two weeks ago that's when I decided she better move to camp."

"We"ll happily take her, but..." Chiron left off.

"But what" probed Thomas looking for answers.

"We are currently in a... high state of emergency. Something big is about to happen. Something big enough to shake up the mortal world too."

A worried look crossed over Thomas' face before he answered

"I'd still feel better if she was with you Chiron."

Chiron nodded acceptance and Thomas dismissed himself.

"We will show her the orientation video and if you don't mind Annabeth could you show Alex around please." He said to Annabeth.

She nodded and left searching for Abby. With the conversation done I left for the ship. When I got back to the ship I found Abby and Alex begging Annabeth for a tour of the ship. She was trying to explain that is wasn't her decision when I said,

"You girls want to go on the ship?" I asked

They both nodded and Alex added "Please, Mr. Pie-Toast?".

Abby giggled at what Alex called me and I noticed Annabeth couldn't suppress a smile either.

"It's Pistos  Alex and yes you two can come on the ship.

They cheered and we boarded the Tsunami. We walked around and I showed them the bedrooms, medical area, the council room, and the training room. They seemed particularly interested in watching my warriors train. Alex was watching Luke for a bit when he used his superspeed to complete part of the course she gasped than saw him on the other side of the room.

She turned to me and asked "How did he do that?"

"He has superspeed" I answered

"Oh" she uttered before observing the training some more.

I glance at Annabeth before saying "She seems to be taking it in well."

"Thomas explained everything to her after she saw the monsters." she answered.

The conch horn sounded in the distance signalling it was time for dinner.

As everyone finished filing in Chiron stood up and chatter stopped instantly.

"We have a new demigod! Alex Jackson daughter of Aphrodite!"

Piper walked over to Alex, introduced herself than brought her back to the Aphrodite Table.

After a bit I decided to sit with Chiron, Thomas, and Annabeth who had split duties as camp director, and Head Counsellor of the Athena cabin.

"Hello Pistos" said Thomas as Chiron and Annabeth nodded in greeting.

"So Pistos Annabeth tells me you knew my many greats uncle Percy Jackson."

"Yes I did." I answered

"She also tells me the last time you saw him was a very long time ago."

I paused debating what I should say before answering

"I actually saw him very recently."

His eyes brightened at that and asked

"How was he doing?"

"He's fine in fact he's a commander in the army."

"Really? That's great!"

My eyes flick to Chiron both looked shocked but happy to hear news that Percy was okay.

"Yes but please don't tell anyone of Percy's status he'd prefer to say anonymous."

I than got up excused myself and returned to sit with my troops.
