Chapter 6: Reunion and Return of a Guardian

Hyperion blocked her sword with his own and with a spartan kick, knocked the King of Knights back.

"King of Knights you say?" Hyperion asked. "Now if that is all the King of Knights can do, then I'm certainly disappointed."

"You don't know what I can do, Hyperion," Annabeth retorted.

"I am a Titan, daughter of Athena," Hyperion sneered. "There is nothing you can do."

"There is plenty I can do, Titan of the East," Annabeth replied. "Archer! Keep him away from me!"

Percy chuckled as he appeared in front of her.

"It's good to see you again Saber," the son of Poseidon stated.

"Likewise Shirou," Annabeth replied with a small smile before a frown marred her visage. "Now hold him off while I prepare for this one attack so that I can end this fight."

Percy titled his head to the side as if he was listening to someone. After a moment he shook his head and said, "Sorry Wise Girl. But she wants me to stay out of this."

Percy then looked at Hyperion and smirked.

"But she did say I could do whatever I could to make him stay there," Percy stated.

"And how are you going to do that?" Hyperion asked.

Six swords appeared behind him and Percy smirked. He then fired them on mental command and the six swords stuck into Hyperion's shadow.

"That is how," Percy stated. "Those swords were given to me by my employer and they are able to stop anyone from moving and as long as I will them to, they will stay in this world. You may continue... Saber."

Annabeth nods her thanks before looking at Hyperion, the steel of her sword glowing a golden color. Unknown to them, though, a 16-year-old with blond hair and red eyes, wearing golden armor was standing upon a building looking down at Annabeth.

"Well now Saber," the man whispered as he gazed upon this sight. "Show me if you can still use that Noble Phantasm of yours."

Annabeth raised her sword, her right hand under the cross-guard and her left hand above the pommel. She closed her eyes and golden lights began to be absorbed by the sword in her hands. These golden lights were coming from the trees, the grass, even the aquatic plants. The lights were also coming from the mortals, the demigods, even monsters. It was all coalescing into the blade, charging it for a powerful attack. An anti-fortress attack.

"That light..." Grover muttered.

"It shines bright," a woman began, getting Grover to look at a woman with black hair framing her face in ringlets and warm brown eyes but there was something about her that was different than everyone else. She was translucent. "It is the true embodiment of the sad yet noble dream of all soldiers. Past, present, and future who lay dying on the field of battle. Clutched to their hearts with their last breaths. Holding aloft their dying wish, making certain that their loyalty will not be in vain. The invincible King is about to cry out the true name of the miracle she wields in her hands..."

Annabeth opens her eyes slowly, a deep melancholy in them. She then steps forwards and a great golden beacon of light erupts from the sword she holds in her hands as she does so.

"That name is..." the woman begins.

"EX-" Annabeth finishes before swinging down the blade. "CALIBUR!!!"

The golden beacon of light then hits Hyperion whose eyes widened in awe and in fear of the power of the Sword of Promised Victory, and the Titan of the East is then killed as he is obliterated into nothing.

Annabeth stood up, straight and tall, and returned Excalibur, the Sword of Promised Victory, to its scabbard, Avalon.

"That Titan stood no chance," Annabeth started before she looked at the monsters and enemy Demigods. "Anyone else want to fight the King of Knights?"

The army of monsters and Demigods retreated at that moment and Percy chuckled.

"Still like to play hardball, huh?" asked Percy with the familiar smirk on his face. "It's good to see you again Saber."

"And you as well Shirou," Saber replied before her eyes narrowed. "You became him, didn't you?"

Percy sighed.

"I still made that wish yes," Percy replied. "I still became the Counter-Guardian EMIYA, but I made sure to remember you and the man you and Rin wanted me to become. In fact, Rin stayed with me and she herself became a Heroic Spirit. Part of the Caster class."

Saber nodded and said, "I am glad you didn't go alone, Shirou. Do you know who Rin is?"

Percy looked away for a moment as he contemplated on saying his theory, but what came out of his mouth was, "Sorry, Saber. But I don't know."

Annabeth's eyes narrowed at this, but she let it go letting her armor vanish as well as Excalibur and Avalon. When her armor vanished, she was left in an old styled blue dress.

"Come," Annabeth said. "We need to get back to base."

Just as Annabeth took a step though, a gunshot rang out and a bullet whizzed past her before it struck a demigod in the thigh.

"That's far enough young man," a voice said.

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover, who has been silent this whole time, looked in front of them as a tall male wearing a black trench coat and pants, with a black shirt underneath and a pistol in hand walked up to Percy. The man had longish salt-and-pepper hair that had black streaks running through it.

"Hello Percy," the man said with a grin. "Sally's been worried sick when you didn't call a few days ago."

"Kiritsugu?" Annabeth muttered before she shook her head.

"Not quite," the man replied. "I'd rather be called Paul if you don't mind."

"Paul!" a woman shouted while running up to Paul Blofis.

"Mom!?" Percy shouted in surprise. Sally Jackson looked different. Her hair was still long and had that brown color to it, but the grey streaks were lighter, the color of freshly fallen snow. Her blue eyes also had flecks of crimson red.

"Percy?" Sally asked, her eyes widening slightly. "What happened? Why do you look different?"

"A lot mom," Percy replied a smile that made Sally smile in relief. "But before we tell you, how about we know who tried to attack us?"

They all nodded and the Jackson-Blofis family, plus Annabeth and Grover, walked back to the fallen Demigod.

"Ethan Nakamura," Percy stated when he saw the Demigod's face. "What are you doing out here when you should be with Kronos?"

Percy then saw a sword by his side and then frowned.

"No," he muttered. "That's not your name."

"Percy?" Sally asked her son. "What do you mean?"

"Antonio Salieri," Percy said. "That is who you are. A Servant."

Annabeth quickly summoned her armor and placed her right hand on Excalibur. Sally summoned familiars that gave Annabeth flashbacks of Irisviel from the 4th Grail War. Paul loaded a bullet into his pistol and Grover, well, he just looked confused.

"What's a Servant?" the Satyr asked. "And what was with that light, Annabeth?"

"Explain later," Percy replied, not taking his eyes off of the reincarnated Servant. "Why are you here, Avenger?"

"To find out your identities Archer," Ethan Nakamura replied, grimacing in pain that was flaring up his leg. "But I know now who Annabeth Chase is. And I believe that if I could get her out of the war, then it would be our victory."

"You forget," here Percy knelt and leaned into his ear. "I am the one who will end Kronos. No one else."

Percy then placed his hands on the son of Nemesis's head and snapped his neck. Percy sighed and stood up.

"I am not proud of it, but it needed to be done," Percy stated. "He was a Servant. A very dangerous enemy. One that I could not allow to walk free."

"I agree with Percy, Grover," Paul said. "You do not know what we went through, you do not know the power of a Heroic Spirit. The strongest of them are literally gods in some cases."

"Now come on," Percy began as he started walking. "We need to meet up with the others and make a plan."

They all nodded and headed back to the hotel.

A few days later

"Percy," Thalia said as she barged into the room where he was staying in the hotel. "Prometheus wants to meet with you."

"How do you know this, Thalia?" Percy asked a frown on his face.

"He sent a messenger," Thalia replied. "Now come on. We need to see what he wants."

"I'll see if Annabeth is up," Percy said. "You get Piper."

"Or I can get them both and you can get ready," Thalia suggested, crossing her arms.

"I'm already dressed," Percy deadpanned.

"Oh..."

The two stood there in silence for a moment.

"What's wrong Thalia?" Percy asked. "You seem to be a little... well, out of it."

"I had a dream of a spear last night, Percy," Thalia told him. "It was red and had a tremendous amount of blood lust radiating from it."

"Gae Bolg," Percy muttered.

"How do you know its name?" Thalia asked, confused.

"Did you see anyone else?" Percy asked. "A woman? A man?"

"They were covered in shadows, Percy," Thalia replied. "Do you know something about the dream?"

"Yes, I do," Percy replied before his eyes narrowed. "We've got company."

"What kind?" Thalia asked.

Percy looked out the window and he snarled.

"I'll be right back," the son of Poseidon replied and, as he left the room, he traced the clothes he wore as the Counter-Guardian EMIYA. "You and Annabeth are to go to the meeting with Prometheus. I, on the other hand, have to do some clean-up."

Percy soon arrived outside of the building and in front of a group of thirty demigods.

"You have a lot of nerve showing up here," Percy stated, a look of hatred on his face. "Hercules."

Hercules smirked.

"And why is that, mortal?" the god of Strength asked.

"Because," Percy said as a large amount of mana erupted from him. "You have a pissed off a Guardian to deal with."

"This body is made of swords,"

After saying that line, the mana he was giving off gained even more strength

"A body of steel and a heart of glass,"

The area around him started to glow with fire that didn't give off any heat and it soon enveloped the group with the last line.

"The fate I forged for myself, Unlimited Blade Works."

The group, plus Percy, then vanished from the world around them and into a different reality.
