Chapter One: The Meeting
Percy hated Manhattan, New York with a passion. So many horrible things have happened in this godforsaken city. For one, being the son of Poseidon--one of the big three, was a death wish in itself. Monsters always found him even of he was miles away from any of them but he didn't have to worry about that anymore; the amulet around his neck shielded him from monsters. Besides, Percy had just ended a war between titans and gods and he just wanted to live the rest of his life normally.
Of course that wasn't going to work out or happen anytime soon. The gods were already pondering whether to make Percy immortal even though he had constantly told them he didn't want to live forever. They never listened to him though so Percy gave up.
Percy was walking through the park even though it was nightfall and he should probably get back to his apartment that he shared with Nico and Jason. Now that he was eighteen he could live on his own but he chose to have roomates.
Percy felt as if someone was following him but it could just be his nerves or he was being paranoid. After all he's been through, you couldn't blame him. Percy started to walk faster towards the fountain in the middle of the park. If there was anyone following him at least he'd be able to defend himself without having to use Riptide.
When Percy reached the fountain he spun around and looked both ways but there was no one there. Frowning Percy walked forward a few steps only to be thrown back into the fountain by something. He splashed into the fountain, water getting into his eyes. It was a good thing water didn't make him wet if he didn't want it to.
Percy looked up and saw that it was a creature Percy had never seen before. A strong thick hide with red eyes, a barbed tail and a posessed looking face, the creature couldn't be a monster. Percy pulled the pen from his pocket and clicked it. The pen turned into Riptide and Percy manipulated the water and splashed the creature in the face, making it shriek and back away.
Percy hopped out of the fountain and swung Riptide at the creature, cutting into its shoulder. It didn't do much damage though and the thing launched itself at Percy, hitting him in the chest and sending him to the ground. Riptide flew from his fingers as he landed on his back, the wind leaving his lungs.
Percy cried out as the creature tore at his stomach and he twisted around, kicking the thing off of him. He reached for his sword, grabbing the handle and barely managing to block an attack that would have probably killed him in a heartbeat. Percy screamed when the creature bit him, its teeth sinking deep into his leg.
Percy stabbed at the creature and made it back off with another shriek and he managed to scramble to his feet. He was hurt and everything seemed to be spinning. Just as the creature prepared to attack again, a guy with blond hair and golden eyes flipped in front of Percy, slashing at the creature with a glowing sword. The creature hissed and went to attack Percy again but then a whip cam out of no where and wrapped around its neck, an arrow piercing its chest.
Percy backed away unsure of what the hell was going on. He backed into something and he spun around only for a pair of claws to dig into his stomach, causing to let out a shriek of pain as he fell backwards onto the ground. The second creature lunged at him and he rolled out of the way, clambering to his feet. Percy swung his sword at the creature and it hit in in the neck, slicing right through. The creature disipitated and Percy fell to his knees, holding onto his stomach as if that would stop the bleeding.
Percy looked up and saw the blond guy standing over him. His vision blurred and he fell onto his side, unconsciousness becoming inevitable.
"Who do you think he is?"
Was the last thing he heard before darkness overtook him.

Percy opened his eyes and found himself staring up at a plain white ceiling. How clichè. He sat up a little too quickly and he grimaced in pain. Gods, he was in pain. Too much pain for him to be alive. Percy climbed out of the bed and he took a step towards the door but his feet gave out from under him.
"Fuck." Percy cursed and tried to get to his feet.
"Hey take it easy!" Someone exclaimed rushing into the room.
Percy looked up and saw the same guy with blond hair and golden eyes from last night. Three other people followed him into the room. A guy with black hair, blue eyes and a disdainful expression om his face, a girl with long black hair and blue eyes whi had to be his sister and finally a redheaded green eyed girl. One thing they all had in common was the strange tattoos on their bodies.
Percy scrambled away from him, not caring that such movement was causing him pain. "Who are you? What do you want from me?!"
The blond held his hands up and said calmly, "We're not going to hurt you."
Percy stared at him, but didn't make a move to say anything or move back onto the bed. He didn't know them, much less trust them. For all he knew they could be trying to lead him to believe he was safe and then kill him.
"I'm Jace." The blond said. "That's Alec, his sister Isabelle and Clary. What's your name?"
Percy knew he shouldn't tell them because it could come back to bite him in the ass but he did anyway. "Percy. My name is Percy Jackson."
"What were you doing out that late last night?" Alec demanded to know.
Percy shrugged. "I was walking in the park. I felt someone following me and I..."
"And you what?" Alec pressed. "You had a sword. One that I've never seen before. Who are you?"
Percy narrowed his eyes and reached into his pocket for his pen. Pulling it out, he clicked it and let it transform into Riptide. He held it up.
"Oh you mean this?" Everyone in the room gasped and stared at Percy. He smiled lazily. "You want to know who I am....you're just gonna have to find out."
A/N: first chapter. Was it bad?
Or was it good?
Let me know.
