Will stormed into the Hades Cabin, and saw what he had feared come true. Nico sat, in the darkest corner of the room, tears rolling down his cheeks, a knife raised over his hand, with his black sweater sleeves rolled up.

He walked over to Nico and snatched the knife from his hands, placing it on the brown table beside him, tears pooling in his eyes. He noticed other scars similar to this one that ran up to his inner elbow.

"Go away Will, I don't wanna talk to you." He said, eyes closed.

"Why did you do this Nico?" Will said, wiping Nico's tears as he stared at him in shock. Even like this, he still looked beautiful.

"The phyisical pain mirriors my mental one. Some scars don't heal, Will." He said quietly, his voice quivering with emotion.

"You think I can't heal these scars, Nico?? Look! They're gone!" He said, swiping his hand over Nico's. The scars healed instantly. By now, Will had given up holding back the tears. Seeing Nico like this... he couldn't take it.

"What about the ones in my heart, Will?"

"Those will heal too, you know, if you give them a chance." Will said, more tears escaping his eyes.

"What if... what if they don't?" Nico said, in a tone barely more than a whisper.

"Then we'll help you through it. You've been through so much, Nico, the least you deserve is to make yourself suffer. You do not deserve this, Nico, no one does."

Nico three his arms around Will, sobbing now. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Just... Don't do this, okay? You don't deserve this, you get me?" Will said, running his hand through the shorter boy's hair, stroking him as Nico smiled into his shirt. The safest place he had ever known.

If you're struggling with depression, or anything for that matter, just remember, things will get better. Talk to a friend, or a trusted teacher, don't go through this alone. No one deserves to end their life, no matter who says you should.
