🐳Percy's POV🐳

Thalia and I crept our way up the creaky stairs, dreading what the oracle had to say.

Once we had shuffled in and we were face-to-face with it, she grabbed my hand.

"This thing is creepy" she whispered.

I nodded in reply.

"Oracle. Please help us with our quest"

The eyes of it opened and glowed an emerald green, then smoke curled out of its open mouth, surrounding myself and Thalia.

"Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,
One will be lost in the land with no rain,
The child of death will know the trail,
Campers and hunters combined prevail,
The Titans curse must one withstand,
And one may perish by a parents' hand."

Once I had told Chiron, he looked blankly at me.
"Goddess in chains?"

I nodded. His eyebrows furrowed.

Suddenly, a familiar group of girls were walking up the hill, all of them looking miserable.
The hunt.

It took all of my willpower not to sprint over there and hug them all until they weren't sad, but it would have given my upbringing away.

Zoe was the first to reach us, her volcanic black eyes were red and puffy,
"Artemis has been captured"

We all gasped but my heart dropped.

My mother, my guardian, my best friend. She has been taken.

Zoe saw the look on my face of pure sorrow and at that moment she obviously didn't care about what anyone thought.

She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me in a sisterly embrace.

"What the-" I heard Annabeth exclaim.

Thalia shot me a small smile of reassurance, I shot one back.

Zoe pulled away and looked down at me,
"We'll find her, alright?"

"Yeah"

She pulled away and stood back next to Chiron.

Annabeth opened her mouth to say something, but Chiron whispered something in her ear.
"Get the hunt and keep them in Artemis' cabin" Chiron told Zoe.

She nodded and led away the hunt. Bee looked at me and smiled sadly.

"That's obviously what the prophecy is about" said Thalia, as the hunt slowly disappeared over the hill "five of us, both hunters and campers, need to go and find Lady Artemis"

Chiron nodded solemnly,
"I'm sorry, but you need to go and find Nico and Bianca Di Angelo first"

"What?!" I exploded, my mother was in danger!

"They are extremely important, Percy, I really am sorry"

I sighed,
"Fine"

Thalia, Annabeth and I stumbled out of the taxi that had dropped us off at the boarding school, barely being able to give the driver the money before he sped off.
He was a bit weary of us, after all, we had just appeared out of a 'strawberry farm' in the middle of a field with supplies that definitely weren't for camping or anything like that.

"Well, are you ready?" I asked them.

They both have short nods and then we were strolling into this fancy building.

It was surprisingly empty in the huge hallway; you could only hear our shoes hitting the pristine marble; that was until a man and a woman came through some double doors and towards us.

They both looked normal enough, except the man, he seemed...different.

His aura seemed less human, as weird as that sounds.

"Who are you?" The lady asked, perfectly shaped eyebrows furrowed.

"Er-" I started.

Thalia interrupted me, she snapped her fingers and a soft breeze blew through the hallway,
"We are Thalia, Percy and Annabeth, we have been students for 2 years"

The woman got a dazed look on her face until Thalia snapped her fingers once more.

"Oh!" The woman exclaimed, "Come on, Thalia, Percy and Annabeth, you're missing the party" she ushered us along the hallway into a big hall, then took off in the other direction, the creepy man in tow.

Taking in the sight of the giant hall, filled to the brim with students in short dresses and tuxedos, I sighed, knowing this would take a while.
