Percy POV-
When I woke up, Clarrise was fast asleep in my arms. I stayed there for only a few moments, delighting in the feeling of holding someone and having someone hold you.

It was only a few moments, but I don't even deserve that.

I got up as gently as I could, not wanting to wake her.

After I got some clothes out of my dresser I went to the bathroom to get ready.

I wasn't tired like most nights. I had gotten the best sleep I've had in a long time, although I didn't want to admit it. To admit it means there's a possibility, and I don't deserve a possibility.

So I denied it with all my heart.

Setting my dirty clothes in the hamper, I looked in the mirror.

What I saw didn't scare me as much as it did other nights, but I wouldn't admit that either. It's a coincidence. The fates decided to give me a break. An agonizingly short one.

I took my time getting ready, not wanting to go out there and face the truth. Not wanting to feel as if I betrayed Annie.

So when I did, I went straight to the door.

However, when I opened it, I saw Draco about to knock.

I raised an eyebrow at him, and he started talking.

"Professor Migonagle would like to see you. And have you seen Clarisse this morning?"

"Where's Migonagle?" I asked.

"Have you seen Clarrisse this morning?"

"No, I haven't." I said, knowing he wouldn't give up.

"She's in the dinning hall." Draco said.

I nodded, then closed the door.

As I walked to the Dinning Hall, I thought of how in the world I'd tell Clarrise. How would she react? Probably not that bad.

Why was I only thinking of Clarrise? From the moment I woke up, my mind only thought of her.

This shouldn't be happening.

It can't be happening.

A few minutes later, I reached the Dinning Hall.

To my annoyance, Professor Migonagle was not there.

What's that little zealot up to now?

-/-/-/-
I don't know if Percy called Draco Draco in the previous chapters, but I decided that he was going to call him Draco, not Malfoy, because he feels like everyone else is just being petty and he prefers to act his age.

Zealot: a person is is fanatical and uncompromising in their pursuit in religion, politics, and other ideas.

This chapter might have been longer, but I'm about to go to school and I need to update. Maybe it will be longer next time, who knows.

Have a great rest of your day!
