Percy POV-
Clarrise handed me my drink, then Pansy's, and then sat down next to me.

"What's the blue spell?" I asked her.

Clarrise rolled her eyes, "I thought you were smarter then Dumbledoor."

"Oh ya, I forgot about that side of my brain." I said, completely forgetting that I'm a really smart wizard (Thanks to Hecate).

I took out my wand, and made my butter beer blue.

"What's the story behind blue?" Clarrise asked.

"My abusive step dad didn't believe in blue food, so my mom went out of her way to make everything we ate blue. She had a rebellious streak to her, that's why she stayed Jackson." I said.

"You had an abusive step father?" Pansy asked.

"Ya." I said, in a distant voice.

"What happened to him? You said 'had'. Is he dead?" Pansy asked.

"Well aren't you the noisy type." I said, rolling my eyes, "I guess you could say he disappeared." I said, smirking at Clarrise.

"What did you do to him?" Clarrise asked.

I put my hand on my heart, "That hurt Clar. That hurt." I said mockingly.

"1st of, don't call me that. 2nd, so you didn't do anything?" Clarrise asked, completely confused.

I rolled my eyes, "Of course I didnt do anything. But, let's just say he was frozen in shock at how I grew up before he left." I said, once again smirking.

Clarrise eyes widened, "You didn't."

"Do what?" Pansy asked.

"...flex did you?" Clarrise asked, trying to make it sound like a general question.

Pansy bought it.

"Maybe, maybe not." I said.

"Were are your parents now?" Pansy asked.

"There...gone." I said, looking down.

"What do you mean 'gone'?"

My anger flared, "I mean gone okay?! Just drop it!"

"Sheesh man, it was just a question." Pansy said.

My eyes hardened over and I didn't reply.

"Pansy..." Clarrise started with obvious fear in her eyes.

"It's okay." I sighed, not wanting Clarrise to be afraid of me, "I'm fine. Just...don't ask questions about my life. Okay? Okay." I said.

Me and Clarrise talked and laughed for what seemed like hours, Pansy just siting and listening, until it was time to go.

I sighed, "We should probably get going."

"Your right." Clarrise sighed.

"Thank you Clarrise, I had fun." I smiled at her, and then we started the walk back.
