Why I Hate School

          Third Person POV

They all separated ways. Hazel and Frank went together far from Nico and Crystal. Crystal and Nico walked through the halls of the second floor. They were apart five feet from each other. A sixth grade girl bully was walking through the halls. She spotted Crystal and started insulting her.
"You obviously are a new student at Goode for sixth grade. Why it's at the fourth floor! How dumb of you! How old are you? 10? Since your lurking through the halls of the fourth graders. You must be retained! Just here to welcome you to my territory." then she slapped her across the face. "Anything that you encounter that is nice is mine. Do not stand up to me."
With that she just laughed. "Actually I just turned 12. Today's my birthday." Then continued to run after Nico. Staying five feet away from him again. The bully ran towards her.
"Hey! No one laughs at me!" She pulled Crystal's hair. Nico stopped in his tracks when he heard Crystal fall. "Listen to me I want you're nicest birthday gifts. That's an order newbie. Don't even think that you're birthday is your luckiest day. You're just another sixth grader to follow me and dream of being my friend."
"Actually," Crystal was starting to stand up again but the bully pushed her down.
Nico held out a hand. Crystal grabbed it. The bully was just there standing and looking at who had just helped her. Her mouth kept shut.
"You don't want to help her she's fine! I'm Amy Lorenzo. You are?" Nico stared at her in disbelief.
"First, you trample my cousin, so no."
          "Cousin?"
"Second, I'm way to old for you. I ain't interested. I already have a special someone."
Crystal laughed. Amy stared at her then pushed her back from Nico's arms.
"Third, she is not a sixth grader. She's a sophomore like me. Very young for a sophomore, maybe. We were just heading to our first class. Which we don't know that's why we were heading to the main office of the second floor. Peace of advice stay away." Nico and Crystal headed towards the office.
          "Hey you!" The bully called.
          Nico turned around. "What?"
"You shouldn't have faced me. Do you know who my dad is?" Oh, right, Nico thought, mortals know about Greek gods. "Beware of what I can do! Puny boy and his cousin. You should be scared. My dad will come. Do you know him? I'll give a hint. He likes black. Do you know him now?"
Nico thought for a while. "Nope."
"Well, my dad is Hades, god of the dead! He can take away your soul anytime." That's it, Nico thought.
Nico smiled at her. "Anytime? Prove it! I ain't scared of you!"
She laughed. "Do you really challenge me?"
"Yes." Amy closed her eyes. Crystal leaned towards Nico.
"What are you doing?" she whispered.
"You'll see." He talked to his dad about his plan. "Where is it?" The ground started shaking then a hole was created just below him that led straight down to the underworld. Nico started screaming. Then was swallowed up in the hole.
          "Nico!" Crystal cried out.
Amy looked surprised too, but she didn't show it. "See? Now bow to me!" Crystal looked straight at her and got ready to charge when a hand behind her touched her shoulder.
"Boo!" Crystal fell forward. Looking at the person who scared her. Nico! Crystal immediately knew what happened but she didn't show it. "Missed me little cuz'?"
"But I saw you fall! You saw it! My dad is still Hades!" Nico turned to Amy.
"Kid, you don't have the aura of death surrounding you."
          "How do you know?"
Nico smiled as he helped Crystal up. "Cause I'm one of his." Then he started walking again with Crystal. Leaving a terrified girl named Amy. Though, Amy won't be spreading this because it has caused her big mouth to shut up. Also, Apollo will be working his way through Amy's brain. Probably making her nicer.

"That was why I hate high school." Crystal said sighing.
Crystal knocked on the door gently.
"Come in, please." Nico and Crystal entered the room. Behind the desk was a plump woman with brown hair wearing a grey dress. "You two must be the new students. I'm Ms. Flowerpots, the school's second floor principal."
          Nico silently snickered.
"Well, it is a pleasure meeting you. Right Nico?"
          Nico coughed. "Yes, absolutely."
"I'm Crystal J-Mason. And this is my cousin, Nico Mason. We moved here 'bout a week before school started. I hope you have our schedules ready. I hate to be late."
"Well, here are you schedules. I will show you to your first class. Apparently you both have the same classes all week. And my, it is my first time to see a twelve year old enter sophomore. They will be shocked. I'm a big fan of intelligent students. Keep it up!" Ms. Flowerpots walked out of the room and led the two to their first class. Latest Greek Mythology. "And please do rid of those highlights. They are not allowed."
          Crystal nodded.

"So kids, tell me what's wrong with the statement that Annabeth was the only one who fell in Tarus?" Nico and Crystal raised their hands.
          "Yes, Ms. Mason?"
"Percy J-jackson jumped after her into Tartarus not Tarus."
"Very good, how did you know? I haven't taught you about it." Crystal gulped.
"Just guessing. I just put the picture together. Percy loves Annabeth so he would die for her including going after her in Tartarus. I just remembered the name Tartarus. Not Tarus."
"Very well said. And Nico, who was the boy thinking it was his fault that they fell in?"
Nico held back a sob. "Me."
"Well, you have the same name, but what's his surname?"
          "Di Angelo."
"Very well. And for those answers, I will end the first class of you two early. Fifteen minutes of break. You may do what you want to do in the back of the classroom."
