Tattletale

Third Person POV

Franchezca was driving her new chevy, with her wannabes, down the road in front of the mansion. She came to fetch Percy herself and only learned his address. She didn't know that he lived in a majestic mansion.
"Wow, this is where he lives?" Asks her wannabe. Then they saw Crystal jogging down the a flower path from behind. Franchezca smirked as she parked her car near the mansion.
"Girl's we're having a stakeout." They watched as she entered the mansion. Her voice echoed as if she were talking to a crowd. Sudden booms of music filled the mansion. People singing and dancing. "Oh, so she was going to have a party without Percy. This is a story to tell him." She laughed evilly.
They watched as Percy emerged from behind the flower paths with an old man. "Their father, perfect." She ran to them. "Oh, this is horrible! Crystal is throwing a party at your house! Oh, what has gotten into her head? Selfish, I have told you. Selfish." Percy just laughed at her.
"Sure dad, you can invite the rest to the party. I already invited Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Leo, Frank, and Hazel. They're the only ones in school I'm happy to invite." As Poseidon disappeared running back to the shore, he scowled at Franchezca. "I believe I did say I wasn't going to your party. You keep on forcing me. I still won't go."
From the inside, they heard a beat playing. Then came a voice. Leo's voice.
"Leo? You invited that scrawny kid?"
"Crystal, truth or dare?" The mic. echoed.
People started chanting 'dare, dare, dare.'
"Dare!" The voice was faint but firm. Crystal's voice.
Leo laughed. "I dare you to not mess with the tracks."
This earned him an awkward silence. "Hmm, I wonder what he's up to." Percy said with Franchezca just staring at him.
The beat got louder with the rhythm 'thump, clap, thump thump, clap, thump, clap, thump thump,' then the song started. Crystal screamed Leo's name. "I'm gonna kill you!"
The song was from My Little Pony Equestria Girls named 'Help Twilight Sparkle Win the Crown.'
"Don't blame me, it was Aphrodite's idea!" Leo screamed running for his life.
"Fine, I'll let this go. Just don't play the theme song." Crystal stopped.
Leo smirked. "Oh you mean this?" Then the theme song played.
          "LEO!!!!!" He dropped the mic.
Percy looked excited. "Oh my gods. I have to see this." Then he entered the mansion without another word. Apparently, when Franchezca tried getting in, the door won't budge. Then behind her appeared old man with thirteen other adults. She didn't notice any of them except the old man.
"Excuse me, what are you doing?" Poseidon asked.
"Um, just about to enter the party."
"I believe you are not on the list. See this doorknob only opens with registered fingerprints. My friend designed it. No one can get in. Not unless Percy listed you from his school."
The door opened. Behind it was Crystal. She looked surprised to see Franchezca. She turned to the gods and gave Aphrodite her death glare. "What is she," -she pointed at Franchezca- "Doing here? What are you guys doing here? I thought dad had to go back."
          "I lied."
Franchezca was just looking at the inside of the mansion. Incredible, she thought.
Aphrodite neared her and acted like a total drama queen. "Dearling, can you get me an extra room for myself? With extra clothes, pillows, everything." She asked with charm. Crystal put her hoodie back on. She knew her highlights would change.
"I won't. And please, no more charm? Plus, I almost killed Leo when he played the theme song. You set him up. I literally burned his pants to the core." She slapped her. She thought no one seemed to notice except the gods.
"Now dear, that is not a way to treat a goddess. I can make you look horrible in a split second." She snapped her fingers. Then all the gods walked in and the door closed in Franchezca's face. They left her hanging.
The gods came to her party, she thought, how is that possible? But her embarrassment will show tomorrow in the school papers, she smirked.

Aphrodite snapped her fingers. She looked at her dress. "Dear me, for having a twelfth birthday you dress horribly. At least my gift for you is a gown. Wear it in the CR." she smiled. Crystal grunted as she headed to her room holding a covered dress. As she turned the knob, it didn't open. Annabeth just happen to be in her room when she heard Crystal from the other side. She was the night guard.
She bolted out the room. "Crystal? What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be downstairs?"
"Yes, but the gods arrived. Aphrodite told me to wear this." She waved the dress in front of her.
"Just use my dressing room." Annabeth let her in to her room. "Just ring if you need my help."
          "Thanks!" And she was gone.
"Phew!" She brought up her wrist." Operation is a clear."
The bell rung. "Hey, um, Annabeth?"
          "Yes?"
"What do you do when you slap a goddess then she puts it aside?"
"Well, I try not to slap her again or else I might die. I'll consider myself lucky. Specially if that goddess is Aphrodite."
          "Well, I slapped Aphrodite."
"You did what!?" Annabeth exclaimed. "She put it aside?"
"Yup, and told me to wear her gift." She went out wearing a sky blue gown that matched her calm eyes. Her blue shoes had five inches worth of heels. And suddenly her hair was all fixed like a princess with no highlights. Although, the gown had multiple hidden weapon cases. Each weapon case was full. "This might be the best ball gown ever. She knows me. Probably to apologize. It's a full set."
Annabeth just stared at her in awe. Her dress was extremely beautiful.
"That's not all my gifts." A voice came from behind.
          Annabeth kneeled. "Lady Aphrodite."
"Quick hint for your gift. It matches you're style."
          "Lots more dresses." Crystal answered.
"Yup! And you'll see they are special made. Weapon cases. I made them myself." She squealed as she exited. They both followed.
"The dress fits you." Said Annabeth walking down the stairs with Crystal. Sudden silence entered the party. Music stopped. People's chatters faded away. A spotlight shone at Crystal. Annabeth escorted her down. She was greeted by the parting of the crowd and her dad.
"It was indeed a long time since I've seen you. Would you care to dance the song at Father Daughter Dance when you were seven? You stepped on my foot every time the highest note was reached." Poseidon asked. "Not to be so formal but, that was also the day you ran away. Remember?"
"Don't bring out the past, father. It will only hurt more." She took his hand and started dancing. "Ever since that day, I tried my best to perfect it."
Then the clock struck ten. Everyone left including the gods.
"We'll meet tomorrow." Dad bade farewell to them as the door locks up.
Crystal sat on the couch with her other friends. "That, was, the biggest party I ever had. At least there were no gifts. Just Aphrodite's."
Leo fiddled with his tools nervously. "I'm sorry for agreeing to Aphrodite. Is it true you slapped her and she let it pass?"
Crystal nodded. "You don't have to worry about the joke. Aphrodite is Aphrodite."
"Um, Crystal, you should get some rest." Percy said yawning.
They all stood and walked Crystal to her room.. As she turned the knob, tons of gifts fell towards her, making her fall on her back.
          "What the Hades?"
Nico grunted. "Don't provoke me, or I will raise skeletons."
"You know what," Annabeth said. "Why don't we all have a sleep over. Girls and boys seperate. My room will hold the girls, while Percy's hold the boys."
Crystal recovered from her fall. "Sounds like a plan." Then they helped close the door and went their ways.
