Wheres Annabeth?

A/N: Okay so this is a few months later. By this time everybody but Percy knows whats happened to Annabeth and why she doesn't come to Camp anymore (this will be explained in my spin off book Annabeth Chase: As Good As Gone (the title is a work in progress)). However, Annabeth does visit Camp Half Blood every few weeks (she cant stand to be very far from it u less she has to be). But at this point, she has stopped coming back.

Written from Percys POV:

Annabeth Chase had disappeared. First, she hadn't come back to Camp Half Blood after Winter break ended. And then she started returning every so often. Percy couldnt understand why she hadnt kept coming back to her home. That is what camp was to her, right? She had been there since she was seven after all.

But everybody seemed to understand her distance. They werent bothered by it at all. And they all seemed quite reluctant to tell Percy anything.

It had been about a year ish since Percy became The God of Cunning and Manipulation. Yes, that was his offcial title. The gods had had a hard enough time agreeing on anything for him to be called. If he remembered right, Ares had volunteered "god of stupidness and losing to the war god" as a title. Everyone had declined.

However, Annabeth had stopped her visits. She hadnt returned to camp in a few months. Two maybe? And Percy was starting to get worried. It was like she had just... disappeared. Gone from the face of the earth. Oh gods, what if he had made her leave. What if him being around was just too much.
No... Stop being egotistical. She was over you by then
He thought to himself.

But Percy wasnt over her. He never had been, and he might never be. He sulked around camp while she was gone, though whether that was the lack of Annabeth, or the godly ability bearing down on his mortal body, nobody knows. He had been so excited for her return. He had a suprise for her the next time she came back. He was...
Well, he didnt want to think about it. It was somewhat painful now that he thought she'd never come back.

Percy stepped out of his cabin, dragging his feet. He wasnt sure how he had lived twelve years without Annabeth, if he could barely stand two months without her now. Percy was thinking about all this while walking to the dining pavillion, his converse scuffing against the path. By the time he sat at the Poseidon table (which he still occupied because he was afraid of feeling like a cast off by sitting anywhere else) he finally realized the noise. Or rather, lack there of.

Everybody was absolutely. Silent. Not even the usually loud and crazy Hermes cabin was speaking. Everyone sat at their tables. They may have been whispering, but all Percy heard was silence.

Most demigods have ADD or ADHD, so for them to be silent and still for this long was very off-putting to Percy. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat as he realized everybody was- more or less- looking at him.

He glanced behind him just in case he wasnt actually the main focus of the crowd. Nothing.

Oh gods, what did i do this time? Percy thought to himself. Last time everyone had stared at him, it was because he had taken the time to outsmart Travis and Connor Stoll in an ongoing theifing war they had. He had stolen both of their wallets, beds (yes, beds. As in the things you sleep on) and money. Of course, he planned to give it all back. And he did. (He was the god of Cunning and Manipulation, what did they expect?)

But he couldnt remember doing anything to cause people to stare at him today.

Chiron cantered up to him.

"Mr. Jackson. If i could see you in the Big House after breakfast, id be greatful."

Percy nodded and Chiron clomped away, his hoofs scuffing the ground.

After Percy finished his blue breakfast, he made his way to the Big House. He stood, looking around the room. It was just Chiron and him.

"Percy," Chron started "Annabeths gone misssing,"
