I wrote this chapter a long time ago and Fae Threatened to murder me after she read it in class and nearly broke down sobbing.

Ps this takes place during the blip , so Peter Parker is still dust as are some of the avengers.

Clink clink crash!

Tony stark let out a small curse as the dishes he had just finished drying crashes to the floor .

He heard a small voice repeat the curse he had just uttered with almost a smile .

Tony whirled around to find Morgan standing in the doorway to the kitchen sucking her thumb.

"No , that's your moms term , she coined it .it belongs to her"

Morgan looked slightly saddened at this news but she quickly brightened up when she asked "juice pops?" With a big smile that Tony knew he couldn't resist .

"That's extortion." He laughed picking her up to hug her to his chest.

"I love you 3,000." He whispered, and for some reason he had to clear his throat quickly before he could speak again .

"Alrighttt let's see , juice pops okay hmm." He shifted Morgan over to one of his hips and dug through the freezer for the juice pops.

"Hey pep? Do we have any juice pops?" Tony called out , but no answer came , Pepper must be up in the office.

"Well morguna ! we're gonna have to go to the store to get juice pops!"

"yay!!!" Morgan jumped out of his arms to run and get her shoes .

"Pepper! I'm taking Morgan to the store , be back in a little bit! I love you!"

In case Pepper didn't hear him , (she was probably in a meeting with her headphones on) he left her a note on the table.

After reaching the store, Morgan dragged her father all the way to the candy aisle.

"Morgan the juice pops are at the other end of the store ."

"There's some in here !" She insisted.

Tony let himself be led into the aisle ,

Morgan immediately stopped in front of the M&Ms , and KitKats and other well known candies .

As soon as Tony saw the bag of M&MS, tears began to well in his eyes and he struggled to keep them down.

Peter always liked the red ones.

Bucky also liked the red ones and they both often had fought over who got them.

Just the other day , Dummy had found a small bowl filled with just the red M&Ms he had in the workshop for Peter.

He was so lost in his own thoughts and fears and memories that Tony barely even felt the small tugs on his arm

"Daddy?" A small voice echoed in his mind . "Daddy?!" The voice sounded more panicked now.

Tony blinked back the tears from his eyes as a small face came into view

"Daddy? I'm sorry , I didn't mean to make you sad !" Morgan sniffled

His mind was brought back to the present as his daughters voice echoed in his ears.

"Sorry Morguna , I was just lost in thought..." he paused to clear his throat before speaking again .

"Let's get some of these ." He grabbed the bag of M&Ms off the shelf.

"Okay! Juice pops!" She cheered , pulling him out of the aisle.

Clutching the bag of M&Ms in his hand, Tony kept his other hand tightly placed in Morgan's as if afraid he would lose her as well.

After successfully getting Morgan's favorite juice pops, plus a tub of Peppers favorite Ice cream flavor as a prize for her (Chocolate chip cookie dough)

Tony and Morgan headed home.

After a dinner of pizza they all curled up on the couch each with their special snack in a bowl or cup .

Tony had a bowl of M&Ms , pepper had a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and Morgan's juice pop was held over a cup to catch any drips.

Instinctively, Tony picked out the Red and Blue M&Ms, saying " here you go kid.." pepper whispered " hon , he's not here anymore ."

Tony looked downcast , his eyes brimming with tears.

"If only there was a way to bring him back . To bring everyone back ." He whispered .

Morgan snuggled under his arm saying softly " you'll figure it out daddy ."

Tony sniffed as quietly as he could but he couldn't hold it in , and buried his face in peppers shoulder .

She brought her hand up and rubbed the back of his head , her gold ring circling around her finger as she did so.

A reminder that she was there for him forever.

And as he cried softly into her shoulder his mind wondered if things could ever be the same.

I miss you kid .

Probably not as emotionally devastating as I originally intended but I wrote this over the span of like a month and a half , yeah I've been busy and tired 😂

But! I'm getting back into it lol
