A small drabble

Being an architect is amazing if you don't have around 50 gods continuously trying to make you renew their statues and one of them trying to get you to make sure their toilet is a bright as them 

I mean I get it .. you need olympus to be a big as your stupid immortal ego but come on let the human have her pizza ...... I am spending way too much time with percy .... nevermind 

Well that reminds me .... percy has been acting weird  lately ... I mean weirder than normal ... and that saying is A LOT . It feels like anything I say triggers something in his ass and he becomes so red that the strawberry that grow on the fields might seem faded in comparison with him

Office has been awful too ... I mean the number of jerks never go down do they?

Overall ..... I am stressed

We were eating dinner in our cozy apartment in new rome... I was again busy with my blueprints . Percy kept nudging me to try to make me listen to him but I was kinda busy so I shush  him off 

'Annabeth ... I wanna talk to you about som--'

'Not now percy ... please'

'Ohh yeah ok'

That night I was seriously stressed.  The mortal firm I work just outside the roman borders was also not being very lenient  on me

It's kinda late and percy is already asleep . I feel bad that I keep being in my own little bubble cause somewhere or the other , percy is going through the same thing 

I tiptoe in our room and quietly lay on the bed , immediately cuddling in percy as his arms snake around my waist and I fall into a dream less sleep

Next morning percy is again fiddling with the hem of his shirt and keeps staring at me as I entered the kitchen with my work clothes on

'Umm ..... you don't need to go today'

'Yes I do .... I've got an important meeting with the yang brothers and if the like my design I can finally get promoted '

'Ohh ... well I kinda called you in sick today '

'What?!?!?'

'Annabeth I really wanted you to take a break'

'I COULD HAVE BUT JUST NOT TODAY ... UGGGHHHH. .... PERCY DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD I WORKED ON THESE BLUEPRINTS AND HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR THIS DAY--'

'Annabeth listen to me --'

'--AND IT WAS FINALLY HERE ... I WOULD FINALLY GET --'

'Annabeth please listen --'

'--AND YOU HAD TO CALL ME SICK JUST TODAY RIGHT?'

''ANNABETH JUST LISTEN TO ME FOR GOD'S SAKE'

'WHAT?'

Percy doesn't say anything and tosses her an apple

'PERCY WOULD YOU SAY WHAT YOU WAN---Ohh!'

'....Marry me beth '
