So this is a lot longer than my other oneshots .I even have another idea ....but that's long too, so I'll see how this goes .

Narrators POV 

Annabeth loved the house ..,...

It's modern furniture , cozy atmosphere , amazing view and most of all the person she will share this house with 

"OH gods percy !! This is it ....  this is amazing " annabeth says . She and percy have been looking for  house ever since they decided to move in together . Sure this place was a little expensive but annabeth's  architecture programme is reaching high in its sales bars and even percy is joining the olympics for swimming this year 

"I know right . I can't wait to move in with you " He wrapped his arms around annabeth's waist from behind and nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck  . Slightly sucking  on it but no that hard for it to leave a hicke,y . 

He kissed her shoulder and kept going above ,biting her ear making her laugh lightly .  picking her up , he turned her around as she became a giggling mess .  finally he put her down and turned her so that she is facing him.  pulling her close and he leaned  in for a slow and sweet kiss .

 Percy might have gone for another kiss but he felt someone's gaze burning through him . He looked outside the window but saw nothing . When he turned back to annabeth there was a loud sound , a millisecond later percy realised that sound came from him , more accurately, his stomach. Annabeth laughs while he gave her a nervous smile 

"Come on let's eat seaweed brain " she said ruffling his hair  and pulled percy towards the kitchen where the takeaway food from mcdonalds was kept 

 (I so badly wanted nico to shadow travel and sit down eating fries while percy and annabeth sit there with wide eyes......but they are mortal   *sigh*)

They finish eating and head to percy's  apartment to pack  few small things . They will soon be shifting in together

When mike came to know that annabeth chase is shifting to the house in the building right across his , he was overjoyed.

Mike remembered all the times he would see her in the hallways  ,smiling and talking with her friends . He remembered the first time he had seen her ,she was with a book , he remembered the way she was fighting her point about slavery from her view and was telling mike how wrong he was. 

How she was so independent and so smart and beautiful ..... ohh lord she was so beautiful in Mike's eyes . He remembered that night when he was finally gonna ask her out , finally he would do it........ and then the other he came . Mike saw him pinning annabeth to the wall and kissing her passionately.  What hurt him the most is that she was kissing him back . 

Mike simply walked away . He ran off and never came back. And now after everything, destiny brings her back to him . 

He saw her come in the previous day  . And .... wow ...... she was so much prettier than he'd imagine. But then once again just like the years ago the other he , came back in , and it was none other than the same guy . He saw him twirl her and then kiss her .

 Anger bubbled inside him . Mike quickly hid , it was a few years ago all again .... no . Those were the college days , he is much mature now , he is independent , he is not the kid who went home crying that day on graduation . 

This is why he didn't like him , why he didn't trust him especially with someone as precious as annabeth.........

 This is why mike hated Percy Jackson

In a few weeks everything was amazing . he and annabeth  moved in together , percy literally couldn't be happier . The neighbours were extremely nice and they even found a good friend. ... Mike .

Although He didn't miss the dissapointed look in annabeth's face , a few months after moving in . Like she wanted him to do something . She would sometimes get angry when percy sat down and would just storm off yelling 'just do it'

Percy didn't not know what to do .... did she want a breakup .........No , she can't right ...

This one specific day , she was really happy and took percy on a walk at night.  She took him to a park . Percy asked her multiple times why she used to be so angry . She didn't answer and kept pulling him . After a long moment of silence annabeth said

" Hey percy , why don't we just-"

She was cut short when we heard someone come in to view . You could see the knife in his hand. 

Annabeth interlocked our hands and started to speed walk away but the person kept following them.

They reached a little in view of some people , and that's when percy turned only to have a knife held at his throat 

" Give me all of your money "

Percy  put his hand to get his wallet but instead of giving it to him he simply punched the mugger  with it . 

The next minutes was a blur . Punching screaming , percy remembered that once the mugger  punched him real hard in the gut and he stumbled back . Annabeth screamed and ran towards this dude knocking him out in a couple of minutes . She looked at percy  with tears and ran towards him . 

Percy extended his hands but she ran past him and knelt down near .......... him?

He couldnt understand what is happening ....  there he was lying on her lap , where the guy had punched him was actually a knife sticking out . The gash was bloody .

Annabeth was clutching him and screaming . Crying and thrashing she quickly picked up her phone and called the police . All this while percy was frozen ..... 

"No percy !!! YOU GET UP RIGHT NOW SEAWEED BRAIN .... YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME . YOU CAN'T.  GET UP RIGHT NOW JACKSON OR ELSE ... OR ELSE -"

SHe couldn't finish the sentence . Tears were falling uncontrollably from her eyes now .

 Sirens could be heard. He was taken to the hospital , all the while annabeth kept sobbing and muttering how this was her fault . If she hadn't taken him for the walk none of this would have happened. Percy wanted to wipe off her years and tell her it wasn't her fault . But when he reached over his hand passed right through her face.

It had been months . Months since percy lay in the hospital . Months since she had been visiting and basically living in the hospital . Doctors say he was dead . But she wasn't going to listen . She forced them to keep him in the hospital . And now .... machines have become his organs and wires plus pipes have become his veins . Everyone beleives  he's dead everyone except her.....

Percy couldnt watch annabeth . The way she always had a faraway look or the way she would  breakdown everytime  someone mentioned him .

Mike had been a great support , he kept coming and taking care of annabeth and so did piper and theyre  parents . But still annabeth did not change.

She kept paying the hospital to keep a dead man alive . 

Percy started seeing her fiddling with a ring , an engagement ring . But percy had not given it to her . Was that what she wanted to say in the park . That they should just breakup .. ...

Percy's heart broke at the thought and even though he was dead , he felt like he was dying all over again .

One night , Annabeth was in one of percy's shirt simply staring at one photograph of both of them together . Annabeth looked gorgeous as always while percy made a goofy face. Annabeth seemed so lost in the picture . Tears slowly rolled down her face as she smiled at the memory 

She jerked back as Someone rang the bell . Annabeth got up and opened the door to reveal it was mike, he entered the house and sat on the table . Annabeth went inside the kitchen and  brought some coffee ,she gave him a cup and sat down on the couch  . Right across mike

" Annabeth,  you need to move on now . You can't keep waiting for something that will never happen ..... " Mike says suddenly 

"What do you mean ?" Annabeth says , clearly annoyed 

"Annabeth all i am saying is-"

"He's dead . Fine say it , I have enough people in this world saying that to me . Go on join the list "

 "Ok fine .... could you just get me some sugar?"

Annabeth gets up and goes to the kitchen . Percy does not understand what mike is doing but as soon as annabeth was out of sight , Mike pours his coffee over himself on purpose .

"Ohh gods... I don't know how I became so clumsy ."

"Should I give you one of percys-" She stopped ... tears pooling her eyes again 

" No no just sit down and listen to me " He pulled her down . He came close to her , a little more close than preffered . Slowly , extremly slowly he removed his shirt . He took her hands and kept it on his torso ... without her permission and annabeth was just so lost in cries that she didn't catch his intention

Percy's eyes narowed. What is he doing . 

"Annabeth  You need to forget about percy and find someone else , ............... and that won't be hard considering the fact that you're incredibly independent and smart and sooo beautiful.... Who wouldn't want you?"

Mike's fingers kept going up and down  her hand and his other was cupping her cheek . He kept caressing her cheek and her lips . Percy caught his eyes stare at her lips and back at her eyes and again at her lips ....

Anger was building up in percy...

" You're emotionally unstable right now ...... People definitely take advantage of it . ......Why not give yourself to someone you know , someone who will keep you safe ...."

Annabeth still wasn't looking at him . She just kept the tears flowing.  Slowly , percy saw mike leaning in . No no no no no no don't do it............then percy was struck . Why shouldn't she ? He is dead . She needs to move on , live her life..

Mike's lips soon attached to annabeth's and percy watched in hurt

But wait......her eyes are wide and she isn't kissing back ........ She squeezes his bare shoulder and pushes him back , her eyes closed.

Mike tries to lean in again but she puts force on his shoulder even more to stop him.

"I might be emotionally weak or even dead ...... but my whole life , I have only loved one person.............and that one person is percy . It will always be him ............. Cause there in absolutely no way of getting over him"

Mike cupped her face and told her , his voice slightly higher than before 

" Annabeth why don't you understand , you're paying money on a dead guy. You're  going crazy annabeth . You need to stop.  You need to stop killing yourself cause you were not the one who died -"

A sickening voice sounded.  Annabeth had just slapped mike . Her eyes showed pure Fury.  She realised what she did and covered her mouth . She ran a hand through her hair .

"I am sorry .... I am so sorry "

She covered her face with her hands . Percy went closer and sat next to her . 

Suddenly annabeth got up and started packing her bagpack.....She took her wallet , the house keys and ran outside the house . Mike went after her . But he soon lost her . 

Annabeth sprinted to the hospital and sat next to percy's body . 

Percys ghost form kept telling annabeth to forget about him but he knew that she couldn't hear him,  even if she could,  she still wouldn't listen to him 

"Okay jackson ! You want to know why I I used to be so angry at you  ? Then listen......" 

anger was evident in her voice and tears kept staining her cheeks 

"....I was frustrated okay . Frustrated that even after all these years  you just wouldn't fucking propose to me !!"

Percy's head snapped up at once 

" I was so angry every time you bent but didn't remove a ring instead you simply tied up your lace . When you wouldn't understand my hints .... gods I was so mad!!!" 

She was basically yelling at this point . Her tears were running down faster than he had ever seen it

" That night, in the park , I was gonna propose to you . "

She searched something in her bag and removed the same ring she used to be fiddling with........At a closer look he realised that in very tiny scriptions it said

be my seaweed brain......forever

"here is the ring . I was just about to do it before -"

Her voice  cracked

"Before all of this happened ' annabeth started to cry . She cried like he'd never seen her . Her cries were so painful that even the most happiest person in this world would shed a tear.

She climbed on top of percy and cried in his chest

All percy wanted to do right now was enter his body and wrap his arms around her . 

He walked to his body and placed his ghostly hand on the cold one lying on the bed . ......A burning pain shot up his ghostly form and percy stumbled back. But he saw his own body's hand twitch . 

He came forward and touched  his body . The pain shot and it was one of the most harshfull pain ever .

He did not stop . He kept shouting in pain but kept entering his own body

Annabeth kept crying in his arms . She loved to cuddle with him but now his body was cold . He didn't wrap her in his arms anymore.

She was simpy removing all her frustration into tears when suddenly....

Ba-dum......... Ba-dum.......... Ba-dum

Annabeth's eyes widened . 

"Nurse! NURSE , DOCTOR ANYBODY ... HIS HEART IS BEATING ... OH GODS HIS HEART IS BEATING . CAN SOMEONE PLS COME HERE "

a nurse came in clearly confused as to why annabeth was screaming but she didn't care

"NURSE . PLEASE CALL THE DOCTORS . HIS HEART IS BEATING . HIS HEART IS BEATING !!!!"

THe nurse quickly hurried off and a moment later doctors came in . They looked at the monitor and stared in disbelief.  

They quickly began to work and had me send off  . I called sally and piper together 

"Hello annabeth. ... what's the problem?"

"THERE IS NO PROBLEM ... OH GODS PERCY'S HEART IS BEATING AGAIN . IT'S BEATING AGAIN . 

"WHAT!!!!"

"Yeah .... come quick you guys"

The next hour was a blur.  Doctors worked furiously inside . Piper , jason , hazel , Frank,  Leo., Calypso,  nico reyna , sally, mike ,my mother . Everyone was waiting there . There was a thick tension in the air . 

Another half an hour later the doctors came out.  Everyone stood up and started screaming at once

"Is he okay ? 

Is he alive?"

Will he be fine

The doctors ignored all the questions and looked straight at her

"He is asking for a Annabeth Chase" He said with a smile

Annabeth ran inside  the room  to see percy staring right at her with a smile . 

Annabeth lunched forward.  She climbed on top of him and met her lips with his. She kissed him , desperately, her hands cupping her face while his went under her t shirt.  Annabeth felt so great to finally kiss this idiot .....her idiot

They soon pulled back cause annabeth did not want to take his  oxygen away immediately after he could use it again . 

She looked at that dork smile and broke down 

She cried and cried in his arms as he rubbed circles on her back . She talked and complained about everything that had happened in the past 8 months . Of course she was miserably that she had lost that time . But now that he has this miracle , she wasn't gonna complain . 

People kept coming and talking to him . But annabeth didn't listen . She only hugged percy and buried her face in his chest , while he securedly held her. For three days straight she never left percy . When he finally was discharged they had a huge celebration for ' the walking dead'

 In the middle of the party percy asked everyone their attention . And then he went all nervous and started stuttering.  and  then finally he said ........

"OH gods ... I am not good at this . So ..........Annabeth chase , will you marry me ?"

Everyone caught their breaths and waited for my answer . But I was to awestruck to say anything .

"Yes ..... yes !....YES!!!"

Percy could not describe his emotions . Everyone around him cheered , even mike had a small smile and was clapping his hands

Percy placed the ring on her finger and she rushed forward and kissed him .

The rest of the night he simply swayed , with annabeth in his arms ........ It couldn't be better.....

And that's the next chapter .... wow I thought I would take at least 3 days but here I am . With the story which I started just yesterday completed .

 I have another long one in mind . It's about percy and annabeth being solders and falling in love and all that .

I am not quite sure if I should do that , but tell me what you feel .

Another thing .... this weekend I am not gonna come online , I won't be making drafts or reading or doing anything on wattpad , Infact I will do nothing on my tablet either . So I'll mostly start the soilder one on Monday. 

I will also update 'her secrets ' on Monday and that next  chp is the reveal.

'The Badass Girl will be updated on tuesday ......and wow  that's a hella big authors note .... anyways
