Annabeths's P.O.V

Today is August 10 and I am so exited , mainly for 2 reasons
1. College is starting in a week
2. It's our anniversary in 8 days !
I don't know if Percy remembers its our anniversary, I think he does most probably , 'cause it falls on the same day as his birthday.
Anyways , today we will be going book and clothes shopping for college. Let's check if I forgot to write anything on my list

• groceries - bread , pasta, instant noodles , Apple's , carrots , cucumber , spinach ,lettuce , tomato

• stationery - pens , pencils , erasers , sharpener , whiteners ,correction tape , 10 registers ,20 notebooks

• accessories - hair goes , scrunchies , headbands, deodorant ,perfume

Okay , that's done

Now I gotta go wake up Percy , for the past week , I have been letting Percy sleep in cause worked really hard helping me unpack and get settled in . we've also been coming home late from walks at night . Everyday I wake him up with his favourite coffee and today , was no different

" Percy wake up "

" good morning , wake up babe , it's 9 already!! " I said
He groaned

When he didn't wake up when I shook him, I was forced to use the technique that I vowed to only use in emergencies , I used it once , and he did not appreciate it. 

" Get up ! OR I WILL NOT HESITATE TO THROW AWAY THE NEMO STUFFED TOY" 

He instantly jotted up and screamed 

"i'm up! i'm up ! Not the NEMO " 

Annabeth laughed sat down besides him on their bed 

" if you want me to wake up , use my favourite technique " he said in hardly a whisper , tracing his finger around her collarbone and neck with each word . When he completed his sentence , he looked up into her gorgeous grey eyes and smirked 

" gods , don't use that voice , makes me wanna kiss you " 

" what's stopping you " 

" your morning breath " 

" It's not stopping me " and with that , our lips met , taking me to pure heaven 

After a while , he pulled out of the kiss , sat up , a cute , naughty. sarcastic trouble maker smirk on his face and said " good morning " innocently , I laughed and handed him his coffee

" good morning indeed , c'mon go and shower , I'll go and get dressed "

He took a sip of his coffee and asked " occasion ? "

I gasped and said " you forgot ?! Perseus Jackson , I am offended ! " I said with mock hurt with my hands on my hips

He put on a confusing face , it was too cute so I started laughing . He got even more confused and I hinted " college ,books , clothes shopping ? "

" oh ,I totally forgot " he said

" expected it " I replied

" thank gods I have u to remind me " he said and tackled me into a hug .

" c'mon now " I said as I pulled of of his warm embrace .

1 hour later

" c'mon percyyy , get out of the bathroom or I'm coming in !!! " I shouted for the tenth time

" coming babe , just 5 minutes, I'm combing my hair " he shouted back

I groaned " your 5 minutes means 5 hours and since when do you comb your hair ? "

As soon as I said that , he came out and there was only one word to describe how he looked and that word was hot , he wore a pair of plain denim jeans and an emerald green sweatshirt that made his eyes look as gorgeous as ever . It was unfair , he probably just threw these clothes on in a hurry and managed to look so hot ! His look said I'm-not-trying-at-all-but-still-managing-to-look-hot-deal-with-it

I didn't realize I was staring till he said " like what you see ? "

And then he asked " how to I look ? " he smirked

I rolled my eyes and said " I think you got the answer to that minutes ago "

I myself wore a denim skirt with a cropped sweater and a pair of black boots . I had my hair up in a messy bun 'cause I knew it was gonna be a long day .

" how do I look ? "

" beautiful as always " he said

"You don't look bad yourself "

" so small we go mademoiselle annabeth Chase ? " he said putting on a terrible French accent , with his hand extended. I chuckled

" yes we shall monsieur Perseus Jackson "

Another hour later

When we were finally done with the books' shopping or as Percy liked to call it the 'boring part' we went on with the clothes shopping , we had to shop a lot at many different stores so we hurried up .

First stop was H&M

Because I take a lot of time in picking the clothes I want to try on , I let Percy try on the clothes he had chosen so he picked up the clothes he wanted to try on in roughly 2 minutes and while he tried on his clothes , I was picking out the ones I wanted to try .

Every time Percy was done changing he called me to rate the outfit and decide whether or not we should buy it .
Once he was done , I went in to try , I had to try on a lot of clothes so I hurried up.

" Wise girl " percy called to me while I was in the changing room trying on sportswear .

" I gotta go check out this shop we passed while we were coming here "

I was very surprised when he said that 'cause Percy has always been an amazing boyfriend and has always assisted me with my shopping .

so naturally I said
" what ?! , but u always help me with my shopping !and " putting on my best puppy dog eyes

I seriously don't know how to make really good convincing puppy eyes because that's usually Percy's thing so I tried my best but I guess it wasn't enough because he too out on his puppy dog eyes , tilted his face , made the cutest face ever seen and said

" pweease " and , obviously,my heart melted and I put my hands up in defeat and said

" fine , but be back asap "

I tossed him the car keys and kissed him bye. Honestly , I was really truly shocked because
1. He never does that
2. There were only jewellery shops and electronic shops on the way here
3. He loves rating my outfits

Nevertheless, I went back to shopping

Percy's P.O.V.

So I feel reaally guilty for leaving annabeth in H&M alone and I reaally wanted to help her with the shopping but I had to do this too , it was very important . today is August 10 , only 8 days away is our anniversary and for our anniversary, I wanna give annabeth a promise  ring .
