Hello ! Sorry sorry sorry for not updating the day I was supposed to , it's just that I wanted this chapter to be perfect and also I had a lot of work so sorry , I hate myself too ! Anyways enjoy ! and also I decided I would do the rest of the book in third person P.O.V. cause it's kinda easier

it had been 6 months since their anniversary and Inez was starting to get on annabeths nerve . She was all friendly and un - diva-i with Percy and all b*tchy with Annabeth . She was now sadly a part of the so called 'gang ' and percys friend him being the seaweed brain he was , thought Inez didn't like him anymore and was over him , much to Annabeth's annoyance .

" annabeth ? Annabeth ? Miss Chase ! " her architecture teacher miss Minerva was saying that

" yes miss ! Sorry I was just thinking "

" about what might I ask ? "

Annabeth quickly thought of something

" the Athena temple on Olympus and how to improve it "

annabeth was still finishing constructing Olympus .
What ?! It took millennia to make it and that could NOT be done even with the most skilled builders in 3years time .

" aah yes , you are constructing Olympus yes? "

" yes miss "

" what were your thinking of adding ? Kindly share your views with the class "

Annabeth quickly took out her blueprints and have the one of the temple of Athena to her professor .

Miss Minerva inspecting it for minute and then said

" good good , you are doing an amazing job , now I see why the gods picked you to redesign Olympus "

Annabeth let out a sigh she realized hadn't even been holding .

" thank you miss "

Another child , a jock named Andrew said " I can do better , I don't know why the gods didn't pick me " he sneered

Miss Minerva raised an eyebrow at him and said

" how so ? Please tell at least one good change you can make in Annabeths design to make it better , and Please , before you des- do it on the real blueprint , Please draw it on the board "
she said handing him the marker

This time annabeths smirked , she knew what her teacher was about to say - destroy the real blueprint - and she quickly changed it to- do it the real blueprint . Her little slip made annabeth proud of herself .

While she was thinking , Andrew had already drawn his idea and miss Minerva was looking at it with disgust . Then she started explaining all the faults in his drawing .

" this here , if you do this The whole thing will fall . This here doesn't look good . This blocks the entrence . The structure don't hold for a minute if this is done -"
and so on
By the time she was finished the jock was scowling and glaring at a proud annabeth.

" whatever . I can still do better than the dumb blonde "

No he did NOT . By saying this , he had provoked a death wish . And that too a very painful one .

" what did you call her Andrew ? "

" a dumb blonde " he said casually trying ( but failing miserably ) to act cool . But that was impossible as he was getting a death glare by both miss Minerva and annabeth .

" detention 3 weeks , and a 2 foot essay on the Athena Parthenon "

Just then the bell rang

" and homework is 7 inches essay to everyone in the Athena Parthenon . "

" Andrew you will submit a 2 foot 7 inch essay "
she said on which he scowled some more .

" should I make it 3 feet ? " she asked

" no thank you " he said still scowling

Miss Minerva turned to annabeth

" I think this is a great idea dear . You should go now , someone in standing outside waiting for you "

" thank you Miss "

Then she went to take her bag and turned to see Inez . She was disappointed as she was expecting Percy

" what do you want "

" nothing. I just wanted to tell you too back off . You're talking with your future ex-boyfriends girlfriend . "

" and why would I do that ! Percy loves me and only me . We've fought 2 battles together , defeated kronor and Gaia ,gone through tartutus together and held The weight of the sky he also have me a ring !!!! And now kindly tell me what he's done for you ! " Annabeth wanted to say . But she didn't , she wouldn't let her get to her , that was exactly what she wanted , so instead , she said 

"I'd like to see you try and 'get him'" She said putting air quotes on 'get him'
" oh and please enlighten me with what he's done for you , i could list quite a few things he's done for me" She continued while twisting the ring on her finger .

" well- ummmm "

" nothing , absolutely nothing for you ! He doesn't even like you "

" whatever you dumb blonde "

" oh you just did not go there "

" yes I did "

" whatever you wouldn't even know 2 times 2 and you're calling me dumb "

" I know that and much more than you "

" oh yeah , what 's that ? "

" 6 "

Annabeth scoffed

"Shore "and she walked away

" Oh you bitch you didn't just walk away on me "

" I just did and will continue to do so " and she walked away and when she knew everyone was looking , held up her middle finger for Inez to see and went to find Percy .

She smirked knowing Inez stomped off, her face red from embarrassment

" what are you smirking about ? " asked Percy

" nothing , just a kid in architecture that tried to challenge my design of the temple of Athena on Olympus.  And I ran into Inez , Anyways how was marine bio ? "

" same old "

" means you aced it "

" yep "

" whatcha wanna do now ? "

" I have swimming and you have tennis so we go there first and then pizza and I have to tell you something then "

Annabeth raised her eyebrow but nevertheless agreed

" sounds great "

She kissed him bye and went off to the tennis court as he went to the pool

-------------------------------- time skip to after college ( at the pizza place )--------------------------------------

As annabeth entered she already found Percy sitting there . She was expecting him to be alone , but No , Inez was there .

Her mood immediately flattened

" what is she doing here " annabeth scowled

" why are you angry ? She was sitting on the stairs crying and up asked her to join us " he shrugged

" I though this was a private conversation "

" Yeah it is "

" then why is she here ? "

" cause she is a great friend " 

" you really are completely oblivious " she muttered to herself

" oblivious to what ? "

" nothing just nothing " annabeth replied , annoyance clear in her voice

" what is your problem with Inez annabeth?! " Percy raised his voice .
On the corner her eye , annabeth saw Inez smirking

Percy raised his voice , Heck he never got angry at her .
it left annabeth broken , scared , angry and somewhat disappointed in herself though she had no reason to . It also made her scared , just like she was when she was 7 , vulnerable to every single thing . But above most , it hurt , hurt like hell , worse than tartutus' ground or any injury . She instantly wanted to crawl into a corner and cry, cry a river . It hurt like nothing she'd ever experienced. Percy , her Percy , had raised his voice at something she'd done and that too in inez's defence .

" you know what , it doesn't matter , I don't wanna fight " he said running his hand through his hair

" what did you want to tell me ? " Annabeth said getting straight to the point . She tried to cover the hurt and pain in her voice but she knew she failed , Percy had detected the change in her voice .

" annabeth I'm sorry i-" he started

But annabeth held up her hand to stop him

" what did you want to tell me ? " she said eerily calm

Percy sighed but nevertheless told what he had to

" I wanted to tell you that when this semester ends , I'm dropping out of college " he stated

" what ?! " annabeth practically screamed

" Why? " asked Inez

" wait I'm not finished " he said

Annabeth nodded for him to go on

" im dropping out to train for swimming , I'm gonna enter the Olympics of 2024 "

" oh my gods that's great ! "

said annabeth going on to hug Percy but Inez beat her to it , leaving annabeth sitting there awkwardly . And the most shocking thing , he hugged her back .

She for the first time in her life felt that She was losing Percy to another girl and felt extremely jealous

Seeing the situation , she settled for a gentle smile and an encouraging nod . Then she walked out of the pizzeria , having not eaten a single slice of pizza and tears that threatened to Spill any moment
