Ok, so I really want this book to be out RIGHT NOW but that's not gonna happen so instead I'm just going to tell you guys what I think will happen in the third book.

MAJOR SPOILERS FROM BOOK ONE AND TWO OF THE MAGNUS CHASE SERIES.

Ok, A) we know Percy is going to be in the third book and I have no idea how I feel about it. I mean, it's understandable since he's Annabeth's boyfriend and Magnus is Annabeth's cousin but it just feels sorta... Wrong... Like, this isn't the Percy Jackson series. Just give the kid a break so he can go to college with his girlfriend and have a life. I like Annabeth's little appearances in the Magnus books but that's because she's his cousin and one of his only decent family members left. He needs that support. If Percy ends up with them on the quest, but he may not he may just be hooking them up with a ride and giving them tips bc he wants a break, at least let's have Annabeth there for some common ground.

If Annabeth isn't there I'm throwing the book out the window, I'm telling you. It's Magnus CHASE. SHE HAS TO BE THERE, SHES HIS FAMILY. Rick better not give me that 'She's staying at camp to overlook construction' schist. I don't want Percy and Magnus fighting the whole book without at least ONE thing there that can make them shut up. Annabeth. Because Percy knows if he gets on her bad side he ain't gettin any kisses and Magnus knows that if he gets on her bad side he's gonna die. Again.

Oh gods and don't get me started on Alex and Percy. I wonder how soon into the story it will be that he says something to offend her. Percy is oblivious to people issues. He'll ask questions that he doesn't realize shouldn't be asked and he'll probably be nearly beheaded by an angry Alex. Which will just make Magnus even more mad.

Ok, here's the deal. Someone is going to die in the third book. It's a given. Now, who? Probably not Alex since she's shiny and new and Rick wouldn't kill her off immediately. Maybe Sam. Not Magnus since he already died once and the only worse thing that could happen is that he isn't allowed back in Valhalla bc he died again. Not Percy or Annabeth because this isn't their series and they're probably going to be in the Trials series again as its been hinted to a little if I remember correctly. Maybe Amir? It's possible. Blitz or Hearth maybe? I'm thinking Hearth since Blitz already nearly died.

I don't really know and I don't want to know bc I'll just cry.

And, finally, I think that Rick is going to end the book with a mention of some sort of lovey dovey thing happening between someone in the crew. Idk if it'll be Blitz and Hearth or Alex and Magnus but Rick isn't going to be getting any ships together in that book. Mentions, maybe. And at the very end I feel like someone is gonna ask someone out or there will be a shared look and then the book will finish and all we'll have is that. No concrete stuff. Just hints.

(Also, I feel obliged to put this, I really really really really want a crossover where the Kanes meet Magnus. I want to see Anubis' reaction to him and I want Sadie to applaud his fashion and I want Carter to study him like something in a museum. It'll be hilarious)

(I also want something where Magnus and Annabeth fight together because family bonding! And it'll be awesome and he'll probably want her to teach him how to do all those crazy fight moves.)
