This isn't a one shot but I was reading The Throne of Fire (Book 2 of the Kane Chronicles) and I came across this:

Is Rick making a reference here? Like, to the scene in the Last Olympian. Less so about the 'smelling like old people' part though.

Also, the reason I haven't been writing much is because my Wattpad is bugging out. Every time I load it up it takes about five minutes to load something and constantly freezes up and/or crashes. It's taken me about ten minutes to write this because I keep having to reload it. I'm so sorry, I hope to have more chapters out soon!
