We Meet Again part 1

Nancy Bobofit worked at the library. It was a boring job but it paid well and she needed the money. She lived in the worst apartments in Manhattan and was planning on moving in with her boyfriend soon but he couldn't pay for two people to live there by himself.

Working at the library was not fun but it wasn't bad either. Most of the time she just walked around, making sure books were where they were supposed to be and that no one was breaking any rules.

But one day, she actually got to help two people and it made the job worth it.

Nancy heard a few curses coming from the historical section. She decided to take a look. Peeking her head into the aisle, she noticed a blonde woman, dressed in jeans and a hoodie, was looking at the shelf. She did not look happy.

The man standing next to her was very good looking. She shook the thought out of her head, she had a boyfriend. He had unruly black hair and bright sea green eyes. He kind of looked familiar but Nancy couldn't figure out where from.

"Do you need help finding something?" Nancy asked politely, walking over to the couple.

"No thanks." The girl waved her hand in Nancy's direction, something shone in the light on her left ring finger. It was a ring and the boy had one on his left hand too. They were married, how cute.

"Are you sure?" Nancy asked again.

The boy let out a laugh. "Annabeth, it's not here." He looked over at Nancy. "She can't find this book about architecture that she wanted. What's it called, Wise Girl?"

"National Architecture," Annabeth grumbled.

Nancy thought back throughout the day. She remembered someone returning a book with a building on the front. "I think someone just returned it this morning. Follow me."

So they did. She led them to the place where people return books. "Just a second." She unlocked the door. Inside, she rummaged through the pile of books and finally found the book named: National Architecture. She turned the light off, shut the door and handed the book to Annabeth. "There you go."

"Thank you," She said gratefully and glanced up at the boy who was staring at Nancy, a confused look painted onto his face. "You coming?

"Do I know you?" He asked Nancy. "You look familiar."

Nancy squinted at the boy. Black hair, sea green eyes. Where had she seen those eyes before? "What's your name? First and last?"

"Percy Jackson," Percy replied. "You?"

"Yancy Academy." Nancy's eyes widened. "Your Percy Jackson from Yancy Academy."

Percy's eyes also widened. "And your Nancy Bobofit."

"The girl that bullied you and Grover?" Annabeth glared at Nancy.

She really liked to cut to the chase, Nancy thought. "Um, yeah. Percy, i'm really sorry about that. I was young, immature, and insecure about myself. Though that doesn't make anything I did okay. I'm sorry to bother you and Grover."

Percy shrugged. "It's alright, I've forgiven you a long time ago. I had other things to worry about than you. It's all taken care of."

"Really? Thanks." Nancy smiled and he returned it.

"Anyway, we really got to get going. We have to tell my parents some exciting news." He shared a look with his wife, Annabeth.

Nancy was good at figuring things out. "Oh! Congrats."

"Thanks," Annabeth replied. "And thanks for getting the book and apologizing."

"No problem. It made the job worth it." She said. "Bye guys."

"See you," Percy replied and followed Annabeth over to the check out.

Nancy walked back over to the desk, plopping down in the desk with a smile on her face.

Today, she learned something new about Percy.

Percy Jackson was very forgiving.
