Skateboarding Reunion
I feel like I haven't updated this book in forever... Well, anyways, I'm here with another chapter after at very, very, very long wait, and I apologize for that. Stranger Things is just hogging my mind recently and I've been trying to get all that out of my system before returning to Percy Jackson. Although, I am distancing myself from the Stranger Things fandoms because, man, it is the most toxic thing I've ever seen. I'm overjoyed our fandom isn't like that. The one thing the ST fandom lacks is respect, and that's one thing I love about us PJO fans: we respect each other. I haven't ever seen a single ship war with this fandom, a fight between opinions, or anyone bashing each other down for not liking the same things, and let me tell you: I am eternally thankful for that.
Anyways, let's get on with the chapter!
"Okay, mine next."
Setting aside his supposedly last birthday gift, a variety of stickers his step-dad, Paul, had gifted to him just a couple minutes ago, Percy glanced up at his girlfriend who was already in the motion of standing up from her spot beside him on the floor. He grinned. "Awe, Wise Girl, you got me a gift?"
"Don't act so surprised." Annabeth rolled her eyes, punching his shoulder playfully before walking across the living room, ignoring the way she could feel his gaze following her, piercing into her back, into the kitchen until he could no longer see her. "You've got to close those eyes of yours first!" She called out to him as she pulled open the cleaning supply closet, digging around all the supplies used for cleaning, until her fingers swiped across a familiar, smooth surface. Pulling the long object out, she closed the door with her foot and tracked back into the living room. Thankfully, his eyes were, indeed, closed.
"Why?" He asked her, apparently able to sense her presence.
"Because I wasn't really sure how to wrap it." She shared an amused look with both Sally and Paul who were seated on the couch, smiling as little Estelle bounced happily on her mother's lap, clapping her hands together in excitement as Annabeth placed the gift in front of Percy's crossed legs. "Alright, you can open them now."
His eyelids blinked open, circles of blue and green swirling together meeting hers for a second (and her heart may or may not have did a tiny flip in her chest), but drifted down to the object before him, eyes involuntarily widening. "You got me a skateboard!?" He reached forward, grabbing the blackboard with blue wheels and a white underside, flipping it around in his hands to get a good look, a wide smile spreading across his face.
It was really just a last second gift. She'd started brainstorming present ideas since August started and still hadn't thought of one until a couple days ago when she remembered a certain detail he'd shared with her when they were younger. He loved to skateboard. So, mustering up all the money she had (and could find) she took a twenty minute trip across Manhattan to the best skating shop she could find, and purchased the skateboard that was now in the hands of Percy Jackson himself. Now, there was a bit of doubt behind the gift. She didn't know if he would still enjoy skateboarding, but by the way he was looking down at it with pure love and adoration in his eyes (was it possible to be jealous of an inanimate object?), all the doubts washed away.
"I mean- yeah." Annabeth shrugged, kneeling in front of him.
Setting the skateboard next to him, Percy surged forward and wrapped her in bone crushing hug that had a gasp pushing it's way passed her lips. The force of the hug was so strong she was nearly knocked backwards and had to stretch out her arm, hand splayed against the floor, to balance herself before she could actually return the embrace. His fingers clung to the fabric of her pajama shirt (birthdays to Percy were like Christmas mornings) as he muttered against her neck, "Thank you."
"Your welcome," she replied, though it came out sounding more like a question than a statement, not really completely understanding what was so special about a simple skateboard that only costed $35.56. Untangling herself from her clingy boyfriend since his parents were also in the room, though she doubted they minded, she sat back against her heels and pointed at the stickers he'd unwrapped not ten minutes ago. "Paul and I kind of had this idea that you could decorate the bottom of your board with the stickers. You know, if you wanted to."
Percy's eyes brightened even more and he grabbed the stickers and skateboard, shooting to his feet. "Let's go do that right now!" He exclaimed, grabbing her hand and yanking her to her feet before sprinting through the kitchen and down the hallway with Annabeth in tow. She sent his parents apologetic glances but they just laughed as Percy dragged her along. He entered his (really, their) room, letting go of her hand to flip the light switch on. He flopped onto the bed, over the blue comforter, and started opening the pack of stickers. "You coming?" He asked without looking up at her.
"Um, yeah." Annabeth sat down across from him and started looking through the pile of, mostly blue, stickers, taking out the ones she liked and wanted to place on the skateboard. She hadn't seen him do it, but since music started playing spontaneously, she assumed Percy had grabbed his phone and pressed play on one of his many, many spotify playlists on his (monster proof) phone. She bobbed her head to the current song as she pealed the paper away from the sticky part of the wave sticker. "Do you care where I put it?"
"No, put it anywhere," Percy said as he stuck a blue 'hang loose' hand figure onto the underside of his new skateboard. She placed the wave right beside that one. "Oh, and if you see any you like, feel free to take them. Especially if they're girly." He picked one out of the pile, his face scrunching up in mild disgust. "Like this one." He flicked it at her.
Annabeth flinched as it whacked her right on the forehead. It landed in front of her on the bed and she grabbed it, holding it up to her eye level. "Hey!" She exclaimed, turning it around so he could see it better, his eyes filled with amusement. "What's wrong with 'aloha'?" Throwing it back at him, she laughed as it hit his nose.
"That's how you wanna do this, huh?" Percy pushed the stickers and skateboard aside.
Raising an eyebrow, she smirked. "Should I be scared?"
"Terrified," he confirmed.
Then he lunged.
And that's how ten minute wrestling match started.
Laughing and shouting at each other all a the same time, they wrestled back and forth as kicks and punches were thrown around. However, Annabeth finally delivered one swift kick to his abdomen that sent him toppling off her, but Percy had other ideas and grabbed onto her hand, Yanking her forward, causing her to shriek as she landed on top of his chest. She struggled against his hold but eventually broke free, and somehow, unbeknownst of him, got Percy into a headlock, his fists lightly pounding against her legs as he pleaded for her to let him go.
"Is this really how you treat your boyfriend!?"
"You're also my best friend, so I have the right to beat you up."
"Annabeth!"
She laughed and finally let him go, watching as he sat up, fixing his gaze in a glare as it directed toward her and she laughed harder. "Happy birthday," Annabeth said suddenly and leaned forward to give him a quick peck on the lips before sitting back, grabbing the pile of stickers and flipping through them, trying not to laugh at Percy's transfixed gaze. "Snap out of it, Seaweed Brain, and help me decorate your stupid skateboard."
"Hey, you got me the stupid skateboard," he said as he grabbed another ocean related sticker, letting it overlap with the wave one she had stuck on it fifteen minutes before.
A half an hour later, the underside of his skateboard was completely covered in beach/ocean related stickers, including a 'save the turtles' one, which Annabeth found absolutely hilarious that he even put that on it, but not the 'aloha' one. He had ignored her and suggested they head to the skateboard so he could practice his moves.
"What moves?" She joked.
"Ha-ha. Very funny." He rolled his eyes playfully.
So after she exchanged her pajamas for black sporty shorts and a sky blue hoodie she had found deep inside her dresser a couple months ago (and fell completely in love with it), nike socks, and tennis shoes adorning her feet, Annabeth was waiting by their apartment door for Percy to finish using the bathroom so they could go. As she checked the bag she was bringing along, making sure she had her grey blanket, architecture book, and reading glasses (yes, she had gotten reading glasses from the Apollo cabin to help with her dyslexia), and a water bottle for her and Percy, someone cleared their throat from in front of her and she glanced up.
"You ready?" Percy asked her, clad in a white T-shirt, blue basketball shorts, and tennis shoes, his new skateboard tucked into the crook of his elbow. He grabbed the keys to his Prius out of the key hangers drilled onto the wall, looking at the for a second before putting them back. "I think we should walk."
"You mean, I walk and you skate," Annabeth corrected as they walked down the stairs of the apartment building they lived in after they bid farewell to Sally and Paul. Reaching out, she slipped her hand into his free one, lacing their fingers together. He gave her a lopsided grin which she loved so much. "I'm joking," she chuckled, leaning into his arm before pushing herself away as they walked out the front doors.
Percy shrugged and let her hand go. "Well, since you don't mind..." He ran ahead of her, dropping his skateboard onto the sidewalk, placing his right foot onto the board, his left foot pushing against the ground, and he rolled forward, leaving Annabeth behind him.
"Wow!" Annabeth exclaimed sarcastically as she ran to keep up with him, readjusting her backpack straps. It was a pretty large backpack. "Can't believe you'd leave me like that!" She smiled so he knew she was joking.
Chuckling, Percy slowed the skateboard down so she could walk beside him. "Sorry."
"No, don't be." She shook her head, sending the wild, golden curls into a frenzy. "When's the last time you skated?"
Biting his lip, he directed his gaze up at the blue sky, seemingly deep in thought. "Uhh...a couple years ago maybe? I didn't have a skateboard of my own but there was always someone from my school there that would let me borrow theirs." He shrugged and scuffed his left foot against the sidewalk again, speeding the skateboard up. "but then some stuff happened-" he gave her a knowing look and she nodded. "-and I just stopped."
"Never lost your touch though," Annabeth commented.
"Yeah, I guess." He lifted his shoulder in a half shrug. "Got to wait for the big stuff."
Annabeth hummed, outstretching her arm in front of him, knowing he wasn't fully paying attention, as they came to a intersection, cars zooming in all directions. He came to an abrupt stop, hooping off his skateboard, and stepping onto the end of it, flipping it backwards so he could grab it. They waited till the white walking symbol showed up on the street light to quickly cross the road, and right when they were back on the sidewalk, Percy was back to zooming on his skateboard. She rolled her eyes, but smiled nonetheless.
They finally reached the skate park five minutes later, and much to Annabeth's surprise, there were only a few kids out there, a couple with skateboards, others with scooters, and some with roller blades strapped to their feet. Percy led her inside, waiting patiently as she got situated on one of the very few patches of grass. He helped her lay out the blanket she brought along, and watched as she slipped her glasses on (he loved her with glasses), laying down on her stomach on top of the blanket, and flipping her book on architecture open before he skated off to join the rest of the teenagers at the skate park.
Truth is, Annabeth didn't read right away. Once she knew Percy wouldn't catch her, she watched him (as creepy as it sounds) over the top of her book for a few minutes, laughing at his failed attempts, but soon her attention wandered and she started to examine the place people liked to call a skate park. It wasn't very large, maybe 8,000 square feet, but that seemed to be the least of everyone's worries as long as they were having fun. Some kids wearing helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads for extra protection in case they wiped out riding down one of the pits or going up and down the steep ramps, but others (like her boyfriend) wore nothing to protect themselves.
At some point she got bored and went back to her book, her grey eyes skimming over the words explaining different designs and origins of arches and columns, flinching every now and then when some irrational skater skated far too close to her for her liking. She licked the tips of her thumb and index finger, and was about to turn the page when she saw four sets of blue wheels come to a stop in front of her, and she instantly knew who it was. Lifting her eyes off the book page, she was met with her handsome boyfriend, green eyes sparkling in the sun, tan skin practically flowing, and his pearly white teeth fixed in a lopsided smile.
"Yes?" Annabeth asked, slowly closing her book.
"You should let me teach you how to skate," Percy said.
"And why would I let you do that?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Please," he begged.
Rolling her eyes, Annabeth took her glasses off, placing them safely in the case and slid it into the backpack along with her book before standing up. She quickly pulled her curly hair into a messy bun, leaving a few shorter curls to frame her face, then followed Percy deeper into the skate park, stopping when he stopped walking beside a long strip of level ground. He set the skateboard down and gestured for her to step onto it. She bit her lip as she placed on foot on the board. "I've never skated before."
"Here, just put both your feet on it then hold on to me," he instructed and she did what she was told, slightly losing her balance but he was quick to set his hands on her waist and steady her as she grabbed onto his shoulders. She gave him a look. "Don't worry, I got you."
"Now what?" Annabeth huffed, tightening her grip on him as she started rolling.
"Just...move." Percy walked along side her, keeping a firm grip on her waist as he pushed her forward, never letting go per her request.
Her lips tugged down in a frown. "You're terrible at giving directions."
"Gee, thanks," he uttered sarcastically.
Annabeth hummed in response.
Just to get a rise out of her, because that's the type of boyfriend he was, Percy pulled his hands away from her waist, laughing as she lost her balance, wobbling back and forth before she got a good grip on his forearms. "Perseus," she scolded, "don't do that."
Percy laughed. "Are you scared?" She didn't answer. "Never thought I'd live to see the day when Annabeth Chase, heroin of Olympus, would be scared of falling off her boyfriend's brand new skateboard."
She averted her gaze from him. "Shut up."
Over the course of the next few minutes, Annabeth only fell over once, resulting in a skinned knee, but she'd gone through worse so she climbed back up onto the skateboard and progressed to just holding on to Percy's hands. As he stared straight ahead, her eyes decided to stay glued to the side of his face, dancing around each and every feature as her heart thumped wildly thin her chest. His dark hair was messy than ever, definitely windswept by the wind blowing through his dark locks as he skated away to his heart's content. His tan skin really popped out in that white shirt he wore and for some reason she found that really attractive, more attractive than his muscular frame. Though, because of the tan tint, his scars stood out more, bright white lines protruding from his skin, and she swallowed thickly, reminding herself that they were battle scars and she had them too. But they just made him even more handsome. He was seriously attractive, and not just physically, his personality too. She'd said it tons of times, but he was so kind, and loyal, and just good in general. It would forever remain a mystery to her as to how she got with Percy Jackson.
"Percy!"
The skateboard paused, Percy's warm hands leaving her waist, and she felt her heart sink as she's brought out of her little fantasy. Her vision cleared and her hearing became normal again, and she saw Percy looking at something over her shoulder. Whipping her head around, she spotted four kids making their way over to them. Two girls and two boys. They all carried skateboards like Percy's, the bottoms decorated with either stickers or neon paint.
She felt someone tug on her hand and suddenly she's being dragged over to the group of kids, watching in confusion, eyebrows furrowed, as Percy talked animatedly with them as if he'd known them his whole life, and maybe he had, but surely he would have told her about them, right? Well, maybe not, it wasn't her business who he's friends with or not.
"Who's this?" The girl clad in black jeans with a chain hanging from one of the belt loops, a black T-shirt tucked into them, her feet swallowed by black combat boots, and more black choker necklaces surrounding her neck. Her dark pink, shoulder length hair was pulled into two french braids, her brown eyes staring into Annabeth's light grey ones, and the nostril with the hoop piercing twitched.
Percy set his hand on her back and Annabeth instantly relaxed. "Guys, this is my girlfriend, Annabeth, Annabeth, my skater friends."
She gave them all a tight lipped smile, waving. "Hey."
"I'm Veda," the pink haired girl said, smiling. "Since Percy won't introduce us by name."
Rubbing the back of his neck, Percy smiled shyly. "Uh, sorry?"
One of the boys, clad in dark clothes just like Veda, with shaggy black hair slicked back, dark friendly eyes that defied his whole attire, and his fingers with black painted fingernails gripped onto his dark green skateboard, laughed. "No worries, Perce. We got it." His smile faded as he turned to look at Annabeth. "I'm Forest. Veda's brother."
"Ah, I can see it," Annabeth said, smiling.
"Yeah. We get that a lot." Forest bumped hips with Veda.
Annabeth looked between the other two.
"Oh!" The other boy, dressed in jean shorts and a grey T-shirt, his brown curly hair frizzing around his head, exclaimed, smiling. "I'm Weston, and this is Ellie." He gestured to the other girl beside him with long brown hair tied into a low ponytail with a blue bandanna, dressed in a white blouse and high waisted jeans.
"I can introduce myself," Ellie muttered, rolling her blue eyes.
Percy laughed and Ellie's cheeks flushed a light red.
"Um.. so how do you all know Percy?" Annabeth asked, tearing her calculating gaze away from Ellie, trying to ignore the way she kept glancing at her boyfriend. She reached over and intertwined her fingers with Percy's, and he squeezed her hand, causing her to smile.
"Just met at this very skate park a couple years back." Veda shrugged, dropping her skateboard to the ground and mounting it. "We all just... clicked." Then she sped off, disappearing into the dips in the ground, Forest right on her wheels. Sorry, bad pun, Annabeth had to stop doing that, it was getting old.
Dropping her board and placing her left foot onto the board, Ellie nudged Percy's side with her elbow, smirking. "Wanna race?" She asked.
"You okay with that?" Percy asked Annabeth.
"Yeah, yeah, totally." Annabeth waved him off, swallowing thickly. "I'll just go-"
"Read," Percy finished for her, smiling fondly.
Annabeth nodded, squeezing his hand one last time before letting go. "Have fun!" She called after him once he sped off with his skater friends, and turned around, her shoulders slumping as she plopped down down on the blanket. Running a hand over her face, she took deep and even breaths, trying to calm herself of a bit of jealousy and... disappointment? It was Percy's birthday, she had gotten him that skateboard, and everything was going perfect, just the two of them, until they showed up and stole him away from her. Okay, maybe she was a bit jealous. Alright, she'll admit, she's a lot jealous.
Unzipping her backpack, she slid her glasses back onto her face and flipped open her book to the page she had left off on when Percy had so rudely interrupted her, and endorsed herself into the calming words of architecture. The more she read, the more her nerves and the boiling jealousy decreased until there was nothing there except her and her beloved book about ancient Greek and Roman architecture.
That is until someone else so rudely interrupted her once again, and Annabeth huffed, tilting her book so it dramatically closed by itself. Pursing her lips, she tilted her head to see the person who had taken her personal time away from her, and was surprised to see Veda standing above her, chomping on a piece of bubble gum. "Um, hi?"
Veda's deep brown eyes flickered down at her and she sent her a quick wave. "Sup."
Que the awkward silence, Annabeth thought to herself.
"You're not into skating?" Veda asked her, tapping her foot against the grass as she watched some random kid ride passed on their scooter, flipping it impressively before disappearing into one of the pits that Annabeth would rather be caught dead then willingly ride anything with wheels into one of them.
"No, not my thing," Annabeth confirmed with a shrug, clasping her hands together on top of her knee that was pulled into her chest while her other leg laid out in front of her. More awkward silence followed, and her mind flashed back to Ellie's flushed face, and she couldn't help the curiosity that overcame her. "Does Ellie like Percy?"
Veda chuckled. "Oh, yeah."
"Oh."
"Don't worry though." Veda plopped down beside her. "I've hardly known you for an hour and I can already tell how head over heels Percy is for you, just by the way he looks at you. It's pretty crazy."
Nodding, Annabeth readjusted and leaned back on her hands. "So... Ellie..."
"Oh boy," Veda laughed. "I'll just explain it all to you. Percy and us... we go way back. We met here when were all thirteen. By the way, we go to a different school than him. We were all kind of outcasts for different reasons so that's why we clicked. And the moment she laid eyes on Percy, Ellie like, fell in love with him. It's crazy, I know, but she's my best friend so I could just tell. But then one time he brought along Rachel Dare-"
"Of course he did," Annabeth said.
"Ah, ya'll didn't get along did ya?"
"Nope."
"Neither did her and Ellie." Veda said, her eyes trained right in front of her, laughing as Forest pushed Percy off his skateboard and the green eyed boy went tumbling down the pit. Annabeth winced. "So yeah, they didn't get along. Well, Ellie didn't get along with Rachel. Rachel was fine with anyone unless you do something to tick her off. I love her, but Ellie doesn't have the guts to confront anyone about anything, so she was terrified Rachel was gonna "steal" Percy away from her."
Annabeth laughed.
Veda joined her. "Back to the story, so when Rachel was out of the picture, the fear went away and Ellie felt as though she was free to like Percy again, free to flirt with him, free to make a move, though Percy's too oblivious to catch on."
"Tell me about it." She rolled her eyes.
"I bet you had an issue with that too," Veda said. "Anyway, Ellie thought she was finally getting somewhere until Percy... disappeared and we never heard from him again. And then we finally see him and he's with you, so she's kinda not herself right now."
Huffing, Annabeth crossed her arms. "Well, she can suck it. Percy's been my best friend for six years and boyfriend for two. He's mind, alright? You can pass that on to her. My words exactly."
Veda tilted her head from left to right, debating. "I think I'll keep that to myself."
"Mmm, okay. But if she tries anything." Annabeth connected her fist with her palm.
Veda laughed as she stood, getting her skateboard ready. "She won't."
Silence filled the air once again, but curiosity took control of Annabeth once again, "What about you? Any guys you got your eyes on?" She knew they hadn't known each other very long but if Veda could talk about her love life, she could ask a simple question, right?"
"Mmm," Veda hummed, face scrunching up in thought. "Boys aren't really my thing. If you know what I mean." Then she skated off toward her brother.
Annabeth's mouth formed an 'O' shape. "Sorry I assumed," she muttered before opening her book and getting drawn back into the addicting words printed in black ink against the white, rough pages.
"Annabeth!"
Slamming her book down on her lap, she practically shouted, "What!?"
Percy rolled to a stop in front of her, eyes wide. "Woah. Guess I'll leave you alone, your highness."
Closing her eyes to regain her thoughts, Annabeth took a deep breath. "No, sorry. What's up?"
"Weston brought some food." He jabbed his thumb behind his shoulder and she saw his skater friends sitting on the bleachers surrounding the park, pigging out on snacks from his backpack, laughing together. "I was wondering if you wanted to join us." He glanced down at the still open book on her lap and smiled. "You can bring your book. It can be another excise for me to see you in your glasses because you look so cute."
"Oh, shut up." Annabeth rolled her eyes for the thousandth time that day, but she smiled nonetheless. Much to Percy's disappointment, she set her glasses in the case and slid it inside her backpack along with the book before standing. "Let's go."
Picking up his skateboard, Percy wrapped his arm around Annabeth's waist, tugging her into him and pressing a sweet kiss to her temple. "Veda told me about the thing with Ellie." Annabeth's shoulders tensed and he pressed his lips to the side of her head again. "I know you're the jealous type so-"
"Am not!" Annabeth exclaimed, separating herself from him.
"Would you just let me speak?" Percy sighed, placing his hands on her shoulders, squeezing, and she nodded slowly. He gazed into her eyes, completely unaware of how fast her heart was racing, and spoke in a low, serious tone, "I love you."
And that's all she had to hear to make her smile and all the doubts and insecurities to wash away in less than a second. She reached up, setting her hand on top of his against her left shoulder and lifted it, lacing their fingers together as they walked. "I love you too," she said before they neared his skater friends who were watching them skeptically.
"What was with they eye banging over there?" Weston asked, clearly disgusted.
Annabeth's face flushed.
"Shut up, dude," Percy said with a roll of his eyes, and pulled Annabeth down onto the bleachers beside him. She scooted closer to him, resting her chin on his shoulder, earning herself a smile from the boy himself. Sure, she was being clingy, but she could have cared less at this time, with the way Ellie was staring at them. Anything to get the girl to back off. Percy tilted his head down to hers and whispered, "You have nothing to worry about. I promise," then pecked her forehead before accepting two homemade chocolate chip cookies from Weston (his mom had baked them the night prior), handing one to Annabeth.
"I know," Annabeth muttered against him.
Ellie swallowed a bite of cookie. "So, Annabeth, how long have you known Percy."
"Six years," she replied.
"That's nice," Ella said, smiling, and it sounded so sincere and genuine, that Annabeth just had to believe that she wasn't going to try anything. "You guys are a really nice couple." Her blue eyes flicked between the two of them. "You compliment each other nicely."
Annabeth made eye contact with Veda who just shrugged. She turned back to Ellie. "Uh, thanks."
Ellie hummed in reply.
"Told you," Percy muttered in her ear.
"Yeah, yeah," Annabeth said, poking him in the side.
He squirmed away from her, laughing, then reached up to tug one of her loose curls.
"Dude!" Forest exclaimed and Percy dropped his hand, turning to face his friend, confusion practically written on his face in permanent marker. "Is that a tattoo!?" He pointed at Percy's forearm.
"Um. Yeah." Percy's gaze darkened.
Noticing her boyfriend's sudden change of mood, Annabeth stood, pulling Percy up with her, and gave the group an apologetic look. "We're gonna head back. It was really nice meeting you guys," she said before waving goodbye and pulling a practically shaking Percy over to their belongings. She quickly packed everything up, shouldered her backpack, grabbed onto Percy's free hand and dragged him out of the skate park. "Hey, you okay?" She asked.
He nodded, leaning forward to press their foreheads together. "Yeah."
"Okay. Wanna go home?" She asked, cupping his face in her hands once he pulled back, her thumbs brushing the skin beneath his eyes. He nodded again. "Alright." She pulled her hands away and started walking but he grabbed her arm, spun her around, and kissed her. When they pulled away she smiled. "What's that for?"
"I don't even know," Percy said and shrugged, his goofy smile returning. "You should skate home."
"What?" Annabeth laughed.
Percy set his skateboard down. "I'll hold your hand the whole time."
"Ugh, fine."
She did skate home, and only fell twice.
I really hope you liked this! I just had this idea and decided to write it.
I'm sorry if my writing got crappy during the end. I'm distracted and tired haha.
Anyway, this is kind of inspired by 'Can I Go Where You Go?' Chapter 6 written by percasbeths on Ao3. Check it out if you have time! It's really well written and super adorable. They also update pretty regularly. As of right now, they have 11 chapters out of 16, and the last update was the twelfth.
