Selena Jackson

I don't know if I've ever done a one shot with Selena or Luke in this story. I have in my People Meet Percabeth though.

Annabeth had been having contractions since she had woken up. It should be normal since she was getting closer to her due date but she shouldn't be having them this close together since she was only seven months pregnant.

Annabeth groaned as another one hit her and took another drink of water out of her cup. She set the empty cup in the sink and slowly walked up the stairs, due to the pain in her abdomen. She pushed open her and Percy's bedroom door and slipped under the covers next to her sleeping husband.

Annabeth stared at the ceiling. 2:30 in the morning. "Why can't you just wait two more months." She whispered to herself.

"Annabeth?" Percy muttered tiredly, blinking his eyes open.

Annabeth turned to her side with a little difficulty. "I'm fine, Percy. Go back to sleep." She placed her hand on his cheek and rubbed it with her thumb.

"How far apart are they?" He whispered, placing his hand on her swollen stomach.

Annabeth covered his hand with hers. "About eight minutes."

"Mkay." Percy muttered, his eyes slowly closing.

"Love you." She whispered before sleep over took her.

———

Annabeth woke up to another contraction. She sat up after moving the blanket out of the way and checked her alarm clock.

8:27 A.M.

She slowly stood up and opened one of her dresser drawers and took out a blue sweatshirt and black leggings. She put the clothing on, not bothering to shower, and walked downstairs.

She stepped into the kitchen where Katie was sipping her dandelion tea. "Morning, Katie."

"Morning. How's the little one?" Katie gestured to Annabeth's stomach.

Annabeth sighed. "Kicking plus contractions." Annabeth groaned. "Six minutes apart."

Katie nodded. "Just keep track of them. Three minutes and you should go in."

"I know." Annabeth smiled. "I'm just glad Percy doesn't have to work today."

Katie smiled warmly. "I think we all are. No one likes dealing with an angry Annabeth. Imagine an Annabeth in labor." She shuddered.

"That-" Leo slid down the railing by the stairs into the kitchen. "-would be terrifying."

"Leo." Annabeth smiled sweetly at him.

"Yes?" He smiled back.

"Shut up." Her smile dropped off her face.

Leo's smile faded. "Is the little princess bothering you?"

Annabeth nodded and looked at Katie. "Five minutes apart."

"You should go lay down." Katie grabbed Annabeth's hand and pulled her over to the couch. Annabeth laid down and Katie threw a blanket over her. "When I was pregnant with Rose And was having cramps of contractions, Travis always had me lay down."

Annabeth glanced at Katie. "Did it work?"

Katie tilted her head from side to side. "It soothes the pain slightly." She stood up from her spot on the floor. "What do you want for breakfast."

Annabeth closed her eyes, shrugging. "Surprise me."

"Alright." She turned to leave when The Stolls ran into the living room at full speed, almost knocking Katie over. "Watch it!"

"Sorry, Aunt Katie." Luke said, on top of Connor's shoulders.

"Yeah." Rose said, on top of Travis's shoulders. "Sorry, Mommy."

Katie glared at her husband and brother-in-law. "Funny how the four year olds say sorry but not the grown up adults."

Travis smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, Kat."

"Yeah, sorry, Katie-Kat." Connor said, taking Luke off his shoulders.

Katie rolled her eyes and started towards the kitchen, sleeping the back of their heads on the way out. "Vlakus."

Travis set down his daughter and rubbed his head. "That woman has a temper."

"Talk about it." Connor shook his head slowly with a sigh.

Travis glared at his brother. "Hey, that's my wife you're talking about."

"You said it first!" Connor threw his arms into the air.

"She's my wife! I have the right." Travis crossed his arms.

Connor rolled his brown eyes. "That's why you should be the one to respect her!"

"No! I-"

Annabeth bolted up, startling the brothers.

"Oh!" Connor gasped. "Annabeth! We didn't see you there! How's-"

"Shut up." Annabeth glared, breathing heavily.

Travis looked at his friend worriedly. "Uh, are you okay?"

"Is Percy awake?" She asked, placing a hand on her stomach.

"No." Connor shook his head.

Annabeth's sighed. "Wake him. Now!"

Travis's eyebrows scrunched together. "Why?"

Annabeth rolled her eyes impatiently. "My water just broke, you idiot!" She yelled and something crashed in the kitchen.

Connor's eyes widened. "Holy Hera."

"Percy!" Travis screamed. "Your wife needs you to take her somewhere!"

"Why?" Came his reply.

Annabeth rolled her eyes angrily. "GET DOWN HERE OR I'M HAVING THIS BABY RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!"

There was a loud thump from upstairs then an, "Oh, OH. Oh my gods."

There were many door slams. Clarisse ran down the steps and grabbed Annabeth's car keys off one of the hooks on the wall. "I'll get the car started, Princess."

Percy ran down the stairs in a black sweatshirt and blue basketball shorts, even though it was October, and a duffle bag hanging from his shoulder.

Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "Missing something there, Seaweed Brain?"

"Already on it!" Nico ran passed her with the baby carrier in his hands and put it in the car.

Percy didn't say anything, just helped Annabeth stand and get into the car. He shut her door and threw the bag in the backseat. He thanked Clarisse and Nico before getting in the car.

"Percy, Drive!" Annabeth groaned.

"Okay, lets go have this baby." Percy said as he pressed down on the gas pedal.

———

Percy parked the car and grabbed the duffle bag before helping Annabeth out of the car and into the building.

They walked towards the front desk where a woman with dark brown curly hair was typing on a computer.

"Excuse me?" Percy said, politely. "Ma'am?"

Her head lifted up and piercing grey eyes stared into his sea green ones. "Perseus."

"Lady Athena." He replied.

To Percy's shock, the goddess smiled. "Just Athena."

"I'm not going to ask why you're here but-" He gestured to Annabeth. "-She's about to have our baby."

"Ah, yes." Athena types a few things into the computer and someone with blonde hair and blue eyes rolled a wheelchair over to them. Athena handed a grey bag to Percy. "For the baby."

"Annabeth, sit." Will Solace told Annabeth.

Percy lowered Annabeth into the wheelchair and held her hand as Will wheeled her to a room.

"I was about to head home when Athena showed up and told me you guys were on your way." Will said, pushing Annabeth into a room.

Will dig around and gave Annabeth a white and blue hospital gown. She slowly stood and stepped into the bathroom, shutting the door. Will set up a table beside the bed and set tools on it. "I'll be delivering the little princess just like I had with Luke. Then I'll send a woman doctor in for the rest."

Percy nodded. "Okay, that makes us feel better."

The bathroom door opened and Annabeth walked out, handing Percy her clothes before she laid down on the bed.

"I'm going to put your IV in your right hand. So, Percy, you'll have to hold her left hand when she's giving birth." Will instructed, wiping the spit in her hand where the needle was going to go. "Have you guys thought of a name?"

"Yes." Annabeth winced as the needle made contact with her skin.

"What are you're choices?" Will asked, putting the IV in. "Done."

"Selena Bianca." Percy told him while Will put some medicine into the IV. "That's the name we chose."

"That's a great name." Will said, hooking up her IV to the bag of water.

Percy smiled. "Thanks."

"Um, may I check?" He gestured to the spot in between Annabeth's legs.

Percy nodded. "Yeah. You did with Luke."

"Just making sure, Man." Will checked Annabeth's dilation. "Well, Annabeth, you are ready to have this baby."

"Okay." Annabeth groaned.

Will grabbed a black phone off the wall and pressed a number. He put the phone to his ear and talked into it. "-yes. She's fully dilated. Yes. Room 353." He set the phone back on the receiver.

Five minutes later, Annabeth was moved to a different room where she would give birth. "Okay, Annabeth, you know what to do." Will said.

Annabeth lifted her legs and spread them, grabbing Percy's hand. "Okay, I'm ready."

Will nodded. "At your next contraction, I need you to push, okay?"

Annabeth nodded and waited. A few seconds later a contraction his and she squeezed Percy's hand.

"Push!" Will shouted and Annabeth pushed with a loud yell.

"Percy, we are never having another baby!" She groaned, pushing again.

Percy squeezed her hand in response.

"Push, Annabeth!" Will shouted and Annabeth pushed with a loud yell again.

"I hate you, Percy Jackson!" She groaned.

Percy chuckled and kissed the top of her head. "Sure you do."

"Push!" Will shouted.

"When's this child going to get out of me!?" She shouted.

"I can see the head, Annabeth!" Will told her. "A couple more pushes!"

Percy kissed the top of her head. "You're doing so good."

Will took a deep breath. "One...two...three... PUSH!" Will instructed. Annabeth's grip tightened on Percy's hand when she pushed and screamed. "Head out!"

"Thank the gods." Annabeth groaned out.

"One more push, Annabeth. You got this." Will said.

Annabeth screamed then sighed. She fell against the bed as a sweet cry filled the room and Percy's heart melted. He had a daughter. His frown broke into a smile. He had a daughter!

He kissed Annabeth's flushed cheeks. "You did so good, Wise Girl. So good."

they went back to the room—

"Percy, do you want to cut the umbilical cord?" Will asked, drying off the baby from her bath.

Percy's eyes widened. "Nope."

"Okay." Will shrugged and cut it. "You want to put the clothes and diaper on?"

Percy grinned. "I can do that." He walked over to the glass crib on wheels where his baby daughter was sleeping. Percy put the diaper on her and grabbed the bag Athena had given him. He pulled out a light purple onesie with a small grey owl on the right side of the chest.

As Percy dressed her, he noticed how small she was. Even smaller than Luke was. But... she was two months early. Not due until December but was born in October.

He zipped up the onesie and looked over at Will. "Can I hold her?"

"You're the father. Don't ask me." Will said. "I'm going to go get a female doctor."

"Okay, Thanks Will." Percy said as Will Shut the door on his way out. He looked down at his newborn daughter and with shaky hands, picked her up and placed her against his chest. "Hi, Selena."

The baby opened her eyes and Percy's watered with happiness. They were grey, like Annabeth's; bright and fierce. She also had tufts of black hair like him on the top of her head. Percy tilted his head down and pressed his lips to her head.

He smiled down at her and rocked gently back and forth on his feet. He watched as a crease appeared on her forehead and a whine escape her pinkish-purple lips. "Shhh. It's okay, baby. Daddy's right here." He rubbed Selena's back as she whined. "You want Mommy, don't you?"

He slowly walked over to Annabeth and placed their small baby girl into her outstretched arms. "Hi, Princess!" Annabeth smiled and the whining baby. "It's okay, it's okay. Mommy's here. Are you hungry?"

Annabeth pulled her legs up and placed Selena against them and undid her gown. She brought Selena to her chest and she latched on right away.

Percy handed her a purple blanket that he grabbed out of the grey bag that the outfit was in. Annabeth covered her chest and the baby with the blanket. "My mom got Selena one too?"

"Oh, she got Luke his? Does it say her name and birthday?" Percy asked. Annabeth checked and sure enough the blanket said,

'Selena Bianca Athena Jackson. October 12.'

The door opened and a female doctor walked in with a clipboard. "Oh! I see you've got breastfeeding covered. How's that going?"

"It's going fine." Annabeth peeked under the blanket. "She's eating with no problem."

"That's-" The doctor scribbled something on to one of the many papers on the clipboard.
"-good."

"Yeah. So she's okay for being two months early?" Percy asked.

"Yes. She's perfectly healthy." She replied with a smile. "Could you write down her name on her birth certificate?"

"Of course." Percy said and wrote down her name on the paper. "There you go."

"Thank you." The doctor said. "Since Everything is going well, you are ready to have visitors come in whenever you want."

"Okay, thank you." Percy smiled as she shut the door behind her.

Percy turned back to Annabeth to see her gown on again and Selena against her shoulder, burping her. "There you go." Annabeth said and moved the baby so she was laying against her chest.

"She's so cute." Percy said, stroking the top of Selena's head.

"And tiny." Annabeth pointed out.

"Yeah." Percy smiled and took his phone to let everyone know that Selena was born and that they could come visit.

"I missed this." Annabeth whispered, nuzzling Selena's head affectionately.

Percy looked over at her. "What did you miss?"

"Having a baby." She said with a light laugh.

Percy made a face. "You missed giving birth?!"

"No, Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth laughed. "Having a baby in general!"

"Oh." Percy laughed.

Annabeth leaned over to Percy when he was looking at her and tilted her head up, silently telling him to kiss her. He smiled and pressed his lips to hers.

She pulled away slowly. "I love you."

"I love you, too." Percy said, connecting heir lips again, their sleeping baby between them.

The End.

I was gonna do everyone coming to visit them but I decided just to have like Percabeth and the baby instead and make it cuter.
