Meetings

Percy and Annabeth are around 22 and go to New Rome but it's summer so they're home. Percy is at his moms and Annabeth is at Camp.

Percy—

I set my phone down on the table beside my bed and jumped up. I ran down the stairs and skidded to a halt in the kitchen. "Mom." My mom turned around from the badder and smiled at me as she wiped her hands on her blue apron.

"Yes, Honey?" She asked. I shoved my hands in my blue basketball shorts and flicked my head trying to get the hair out of my eyes.

"Can Annabeth come over?" I asked, pleading with my eyes. My mom squealed.

"Of course she can!" She turned back to the cookies. "I need to make more cookies and get dinner ready. Oh my gods so much to do!" She stressed. I chuckled. My half-sister, Estelle, peeked her head from around the corner by the living room.

"Who's Annabeth?" My four year old sister asked me. I smiled and picked her up.

"My girlfriend." I told her and tickled her stomach causing her to start giggling.

"Percy put your sister down and start cleaning." My mom said. I set Estelle down and saluted my mom before I ran upstairs to start cleaning my room.

I set my picture frame on my nightstand of Annabeth and me a few weeks ago. We were on the beach in New Rome with Jason and Piper, they took the picture, Annabeth was on my back in her CHB orange one piece and I was holding her up in my blue swim trunks. Her eyes were shining and her smile was bright as her long curly hair tumbled over her shoulders. I smiled at the picture and grabbed my phone before walking downstairs.

"Mom, my room is all clean." I announced. She took the freshly baked cookies out of the oven.

"Okay. Will you clean the living room, please?" She asked as she stirred the noodles.

"Yup." I popped the 'p' and started cleaning the living room. I Picked up a stuffed Nemo that used to be mine. I smiled at it before going to drop it in the bin of toys but was stopped.

"No!" Estelle shouted, wrenching the toy out of my hand. She glared at me with her baby blue eyes, her dirty blonde hair falling down her shoulders. She wore jean shorts and a plain yellow t-shirt.

"What?" I asked. She pointed an accusing finger at me.

"You do not put Nemo away! He is mine and you can't touch him!" She shouted. My eye brows scrunched in confusion. My mom came out of the kitchen, her hands on her hips, staring at Estelle.

"Estelle, be nice. It was your brothers first and he's cleaning the house for his girlfriend." She scolded. Estelle stuck out her tongue in disgust.

"Girlfriend? Ew." Then she giggled and looked at me. "Are you done cleaning?" I nodded. She smiled, grabbed my hand, and led me upstairs.

"What are we doing, Stella?" I asked.

"Sit." She instructed and pointed at her bed. I sat with my legs crossed and she sat in front of me.

"What does she look like?" She asked me.

"Who?" I asked.

"Your girlfriend." She giggled at the word girlfriend.

"Do you want to see a picture?" I pulled out my phone and showed her my lock screen. It was a picture of Annabeth and me at the camp fire at Camp eating s'mores. The Stolls took the picture.

"She's very pretty." Estelle said looking at the picture.

"Yeah she is." I smiled and put my phone in my shorts pocket.

"Wanna go build a big tower with me?" She asked.

"Uh I have to-" she cut me off.

"Please, Percy!" She pleaded giving me puppy eyes.

"Fine just because I love you too much." I threw her over my shoulder and walked down the stairs then set her down by the blocks.

"I love you too." Estelle told me and kissed my cheek. I smiled and we began stacking blocks.

Line break——

Estelle set a block on the tower and laughed.

"That's the tallest one ever!" She said right before it fell down. Her smile also fell. "Oh." I scooped her into a hug when her eyes began to fill with tears.

"Hey, it's okay. Wanna know who will be able to make it stay?" I asked. She looked at me.

"Who?"

"Annabeth." She was about to say something with a big smile when the doorbell rang. "Annabeth's here Mom!"

"K go answer the door!" She called back. I opened the door to reveal my stunning girlfriend. She was wearing light blue jean shorts, a Camp half blood t-shirt, and black converse. Her hair was down and fell down her shoulders.

"Hey." I said as I pressed my lips to hers in greeting. She kissed back and pulled away with a smile.

"Hey, Seaweed Brain." She said and stepped inside the house. She took her shoes off and walked into the kitchen. "Hi, Sally!" She hugged my Mom then grabbed my CHB sweatshirt off the chair by the table and slipped it over her head.

"Percy!" Estelle's voice rang out.

"Coming!" I grabbed Annabeth's hand and walked into the living room. "Estelle this is Annabeth." I turned to Annabeth. "She doesn't remember you."

"Obviously, Percy. I saw her once when she was born!" She laughed then turned to Estelle and knelt in front of her. "Hi, I'm Annabeth."

"E-estelle." My sister said hesitantly and backed away slightly.

"Stella, you don't have to be scared of her. I definitely wasn't when I first met her." I said. Annabeth scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Uh-huh." She put her hand by her mouth and loudly whispered to Estelle. "He was terrified."

"Hey!" I shouted. "I heard that." Annabeth stood.

"You were supposed to." She patted my arm then looked at the blocks. "Did you knock that over?"

"No. It fell over." I defended. She nodded and looked at it. She had her eye brows scrunched and her lips pursed with her finger on her chin, her thinking face.

"Estelle, do want me to help you rebuild it so it will stay and not fall?" She asked. Estelle nodded.

"Yeah!" She grabbed Annabeth's hand and led her to the blocks. I sat on the couch watching my sister and girlfriend play with blocks. I the stood and ran upstairs. I put an object in my pocket then ran downstairs to my mom in the kitchen.

"Mom?" I said quietly and looked around making sure Annabeth was still in the living room.

"Yeah?" She replied and looked up at me. I gulped and took out the small object in my pocket. She gasped and covered her mouth.

"W-when should I do it?" I asked, handing her the black box. She opened it to reveal a beautiful diamond engagement ring.

"It's beautiful, Percy. How long?" She asked. I ran a hand through my hair.

"A few weeks. I've been saving up since senior year.  So, how should I ask her. I know she wouldn't want anything fancy and we've talked about t and she said she doesn't want a long speech." I told her. My mom thought about it.

"We could hide it in her noodles, I know she doesn't like sauce, so it wouldn't get dirty." She told me. "I'll put a wipe by her napkin so she can clean off the butter too." I hugged her.

"Thank you." I told her. She smiled.

"You're welcome sweetie. Now I'll set the table and you go hang out with you girlfriend. Tell Estelle to come her." She said and I walked into the living room to see a tower of blocks, with windows and doors.

"Percy look!" Estelle said.

"I see! Mom wants you, Estelle." My sister ran into the kitchen and I walked up behind Annabeth who was observing the tower. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her up. She gave a little shriek.

"Percy!" She yelped. I set her down, grabbed her hand, and we walked up the stairs to my room. We walked in and sat on the bed. She grabbed my picture frame and smiled at it before she laid down. "I have this picture in my room at San Fran and at camp." She told me. I laid next to her and wrapped my arm around her waist, her back against my chest. She put her hand in my arm and sighed.

"Its my favorite." I said. She set the picture down and turned around in my arms, burying her face in my chest.

"I love you." She mumbled. I kissed her blonde curls on top of her head. I rubbed her back and ran my fingers through her hair.

"How have you been sleeping? Nightmares are okay?" I asked. Our flashback may have stopped but our nightmares come every once in a while. Annabeth more than me because of me almost dying and all that.

"I had nightmares past few days. I'm tired." She said.

"Then go to sleep, Wise Girl. Dinner won't be ready for another half an hour." I told her, rubbing circles on her back. She wrapped her arms around me.

"M'kay." Then her breathing evened out and I knew she was asleep. Soon after I drifted off too.

"PERCY! ANNABETH!" My mom shouted. "Dinner!" I unwrapped my arms and shook Annabeth.

"Dinner, Wise Girl." I Then suddenly felt nervous and excited. I shook harder until she opened her eyes. She sat up, rubbed her eyes, and yawned.

"Hi." She smiled at me and pecked my lips.

"Hi." I replied with a laugh. I grabbed her hand. "Come on. Let's go eat. It's spaghetti but my mom didn't put sauce on yours."

"Your mom is the best. My stepmom always puts sauce on and forces me to eat it." She shuddered.

"Yeah my mom is nicest then your step mom." I said as we sat down. Paul was seated at the end of the table on the left, Estelle was across from me, my mom will be sitting at the end of the table on the right, and Annabeth was sitting on my right. My mom set a plastic plate in front of Estelle full of food, a glass one in front of Paul, a glass one at her spot, a glass one at my spot, and then one on Annabeth's. She also set butter next to it. My mom winked at me then sat down and we began to eat.  When Annabeth wasn't looking I slipped a piece of paper by her silver wear.

"Thank you, Sally." Annabeth said and took a bite.

"You're welcome Annabeth. You're welcome here anytime." My mom told her. Annabeth smiled and was about to take a bite when she looked down and dropped her fork. She covered her mouth with her hands. Sally smiled at her and I looked at her nervously. Paul smiled at Annabeth and Estelle looked at her in confusion.

"Oh my gods." Annabeth gasped. I quickly set the paper over the ring as she looked up. She looked down and opened the folded piece of paper.

Will you marry me? -Percy

She let out a sob and wiped off the ring before slipping it on her ring finger and nodding. "Gods, yes, Percy." I stood with a huge smile on my face and she hopped up, tackling me in a hug. She pulled away and kissed me. We pulled away after a few seconds and she wiped her eyes and smiled at me.

"Well!" My mom said. "After dinner we have a wedding to plan!" Estelle looked at her.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Honey, they're getting married. Percy just purposed in the cutest way ever!" Paul said. Annabeth pecked my lips again before we continued eating.

Let's say that was the happiest day of my life before the wedding.

The end. Want a wedding chapter?
